this is sooo lovely. I love the minute around 3:00 where its out of the train window and you can see a reflection of the video as well as out of the window, really subtle but reminded me of a double exposure photograph. Awesome job!
Emily Nicole Thank you! That actually happened by accident and when I looked back at the footage I was really annoyed, but upon reflection I really liked it! :) I'm glad I kept it in!
***** Thank you! :D I was dead set on making the audio as crisp as possible, I'm glad you enjoyed it! An installation piece? Do tell! :o Ah yes 3:54 is one of my fav bits of the film.
Like - you could isolate the audio and play it through headphones and maybe blindfold people - stick them in a booth or something? COULD possibly involve a fan for senses or something, but that might be overkill.
***** Ah yeah that might be a bit much haha~ But nice idea though! I actually parted the audio so now it's just a song on soundcloud ^_^ I'm content with just that for now! Ha~ soundcloud.com/flippytea/t-r-a-c-k-s-film-audio
I really like this! :D I hope it got you a good grade at college c: Gosh, how do you manage to film people without them realising though? I feel like most of the time generally I'm invisible but as soon as I try to do any type of camera work, people notice me right away! :'D
+Enchanting_ELK Thank you! I did! Distinction* :) Oh no most of them did notice me. The trick is to actually press record then walk away from the tripod and go on your phone or something, that way people think you're currently not taking a picture. :) Plus if you look nervous or anything they pick up on it. So I tried to look very bored whilst setting it up - "This is my job" kind've face you know? And then people just fazed me out. The more natural you look the less they care. It took a while for me to get the method, but it was fun! Thanks for watching! x

the audio is so strong with this. V v peaceful and immersive. I feel like you could isolate the audio and make an installation piece?

Nice work. Some of the shots reminded me of Koyaanisqatsi (1982), you should see it. Also did you shoot 25 fps and then decided to add slow motion?
+Cage Thank you! I'll check it out! I'm pretty sure I filmed at 50fps and then slowed it down.
