Hi, I like wash and go hairstyles. The truth is it takes time to get your curls to look the way you would want it to look. It took me sometime and once I got it. I got it. Now I really love my hair in wash in go. I like what you said embarrass your curls. Curls are so versatile. Which makes us all unique. Thank you for sharing.❤🌹🌟😊🙏
@@NaturalRaeRae you are welcome. It is a blessing. I appreciate people like you on social media. I have learn a lot from watching you and others. Have a great day.🙏☝🌟😊❤🌹
Thanks for the reminder again. I always thought that with low porosity you do not style on soaking wet hair but I’m finding this is starting to work best , especially as more hair begins to go through changes as I get older.
I agree a diffuser is definitely helpful to get to those roots!!! Because like you said you do not want to touch or manipulate your hair until it is completely 100% dry.
Great tips, very helpful. 2 other things that have really helped is 1/ making sure the water is at least warm and not cold and 2/ before applying in my hair, make sure that the styling products work well together and for my hair density. I had one too many flaking experiences in the beginning.
Great tips!! So, so glad I found you and yes I’m watching your videos to gain as much knowledge as I can… this one really explains how to do a wash and go properly. I now understand to thoroughly look at my patterns and embrace my hair uniqueness lol; also I realize why my hair takes longer to dry (even when I wasn’t natural) sis, I’m a low porosity girl 😂 I do have a request, are there any suggestions on some shampoo and conditioner you recommend to a newly natural? Love the channel and learning so much! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you! Sorry, but I just now saw your comment. Glad my videos are helping you. As far as shampoos and conditioners, just get something that you like that cleanses your hair and moisturizes it. There is no special shampoo or conditioner for a newly natural. I have several videos on my favorite shampoos and conditioners so feel free to check those out. Thanks for tuning in.💛
Excellent tips! These are the tips that I have been using hat have helped with my wash and goes. Especially about the curl pattern when wet will not be the same as yours or others. We have to have real expectations , embrace our coils, and practicing makes perfect!
Very informative video. You have nice hair. I hv different patterns in my hair. In the front its curly all way thru top of my head. After you leave the top of my hair in the back barely any curls. After I wash my hair back of my head lk curly. As soon as it gets dries no curls.
This was good and worded great especially for me ..when you said put it in small sections and said ok..I was like yeah I know that’s what I did wrong last time 🤣🤣🤣❤️
Okay I’m going to give a wash n go one more go around. I just can’t master this. Would love to give my daughter one with her texture hair but just can’t do it. With these tips I’m going to give it a try.
I would also add that a good cut is important. Coils can be super shiny bouncy defined volume but if it sits like Fred Douglass (my utmost respect) you gonna be mad regardless.
🙋🏽♀️You mentioned in a video Xanthan Gum in products affect your hair a certain way. I’m noticing more products popping up with it added now. What does it do to your hair? IG: @denisenatural
Xanthan gum will flake a lot on my hair if it is not formulated a certain way. It leaves a grayish look to my hair that I don't like. But there are some gels with it that I love, like the Obia Curl Enhancing Custard, but the Xanthan gum is at the bottom of the ingredients list.
I started paying attention when I heard you mention it. Once companies start changing up formulas I get frustrated when they add something I’m sensitive to 🤷🏽♀️eventually I may just use DIY stuff and call it a day 😅😂😂Thanks for your response - I love your videos 🥰
Beautifully stated!! Embrace YOUR OWN curl pattern.
Exactly!! Thanks for watching!
I love how well you explain your tips… ❤️Your hair is unique and you will get your OWN results ..💯facts !!Embrace what you have!!!

I do have a question after watching this video again... Should your hair be soaking wet for all wash and goes no matter what products you are using?
I agree a diffuser is definitely helpful to get to those roots!!! Because like you said you do not want to touch or manipulate your hair until it is completely 100% dry.
Exactly!!
Great tips. That's the way I do my hair and it works.
Thank you.

Hi. Thks for the tips.
You bet!
Shingling usually works amazing for my wash n go
Shingling is a good method to use for definition. It takes more time, but it works!
Great video👀
Thanks! 😃
