    I was fortunate flying from Uzbekistan to Malaysia, to be able to see the geography of Pamir mountains, Punjab plains and these great Ganga river systems from the air, before flying over Bay of Bengal. .

    Update for UPSC aspirants- Brahmaputra originates at Angsi Glacier (research conducted by the Chinese in 2011)..earlier it was believed to be Chemayungdung glacier.....Cheers..
