No way would I buy one the first year. Before few of the new 24's have even hit the dealerships there is already an ecu flash update for a non start issue. If you really want a 24 RG wait until a later 24 build date. Hopefully by then more of the bugs will be worked out.
Since I live in the Phoenix area and have lived in Sierra Vista thought I'd tell you a couple of things. First, it's good you went through Arizona when you did. The next week was rain for 4 days out of 7. And the temperature dropped about 30 degrees. So you got luck. Second, those mountains you liked so much in Sierra Vista are called the Huachuca Mountains. Huachuca means thunder. And when you see storms come over those mountains you really understand the name. At the top of the Huachucas is a hummingbird sanctuary, the only place on earth where all 26 species of hummingbirds can be seen. And you can stay in a cabin up there if you want. I love your channel and enjoy everything you've posted.🏍
This was one of the best videos because I love seeing you interact with your friends. I love Blockhead’s channel and it was great to see his interaction with you and Amanda. They look so cute together! ❤
Jess, I really enjoyed this video. I live in Tucson and ride at last twice a week. But the last few weeks the weather has been terrible! Had trouble getting my fix... I am a fairly new female rider I started riding again at 65 after 40 years hiatus. Now I am looking forward to my first overnight trip coming up in a couple of months. Thanks for being my inspiration! BTW the new Road Glide is awesome!
Love the video! Recently discovered your channel after watching Blockhead for years. Seeing the cool adventures etc just makes me want to get a HD and meeting some cool people to go riding with. I've wanted a HD on and off for years but always been into sports bikes previously, the want for a HD is huge now and I can see one in my future! Looking forward to the rest of this series!
Cool video thanks so very much for sharing it with us and I will be looking forward to hearing more about the 2024 RG looks very nice safe travels 😎🙏😇🥃🥃🥃🥃
I really wanna do some long rod trips on a bike soon. Thinking I may upgrade from my Rebel 1100 to a 2024 Road Glide. Looks like ya'll had a blast on this trip. Can't wait to see more
Of Course enjoyed this video , You are a boss banging across the US in Feb on a bike , Beautiful new Road glide , still a motorcycle, we riders get cold or hot or wet , they are still motorcycles and we love them . Thanks for what you do 👍😎
OKAY LET'S GOOOOOOOO FINALLY WATCHING THIS HAHA WATCHING THIS WHILE HAVING A PIZZA WITH ANANAS 🍍 1:43 NAME REVEAL 7:38 lol i thought u were staying at Jon's Moto Garage XD
Great video, Jess!!! I'm glad you had company on your journey! I know you prefer solo travel but it's a new experience and good to have help in case of an emergency.
I'm a wee bit like you prefer to ride on me own, so can go my pace do things I like. However it's good now and again and a learning curve to ride with others, south the 'itches' out on the way, and now and again you find you can ride with others. 👍
What an outstanding way to do your first cross-country ride! As you've found (and will probably find further along the way) good quality heated and rain gear (and coffee!) are just about a necessity on a long distance ride. You've hit at least one spot that's on my bucket list; I've never made it down to Tombstone. Hope you enjoy the rest of the ride!
Living the life!!!! Cross country trips with friends on motorcycles. Captivating scenery, good food and great fun!! Only thing missing is warm weather. Looking forward to more content on this trip.
Thank you for this video. Late April I will ride from Knoxville, TN to Las Vegas then to Sierra Vista, AZ and back home. Enjoyed your footage from Vegas to Sierra Vista.
Been Looking forward to this, you illuded to this a while back. I think I'm missing a few some how? As 1 min you and your Mr had gone south with the camper-trailer thingy then this appears. I was waiting to see the announcement when you're popping over to EU (I'm in England), enjoying the watch.
We are still snow birding in Florida! Typically at the beginning of the year, manufacturers release their new motorcycles and offer "Press Rides" for creators like myself to fly out and ride their new products to report back to our audience on out thoughts and opinions. This opportunity was different because H-D allowed us to actually ride the motorcycles wherever we wanted to!
I’m not sure but I get the impression that this is your first cross country motorcycle road trip?? 😂 kidding. Glad that you have company with you they seem like good travel companions. Nice video and I’ll be looking forward to seeing the rest of the installments.
Fun trip, and it may be different then your usual solo riding, but it's fun and convenient to have great friends along to enjoy the adventure with! Tombstone, Arizona seems such a cool place to visit.
Добрый день! Посмотрел ваше видео и на душе радость)) спасибо за позитив, очень понравилось путешествие, за вами интересно смотреть. И конечно понравились ребята с которыми вы вместе отправились в поездку. Подписался сразу) всем добра!
Wait Block Head is regularly irregular 😂. A trip like this is very cleansing for the soul. It’s a very sweet way to get back to Florida. Indian you can hear the music and navigation at any speed. Need to get Harley up to the task of making a better sound system for those who like that over the bike noise.
I am curious to see what Blockhead and you see as pro's and con's of the 2024's are. I haven't seen one in person yet. I am not sure that I like the front fairing of new bikes. I like the look for of my 2022 Road Glide Special. If I'm correct, I believe that is the last year before they started changing the fairings. I use to live in Arizona. I don't think I would like riding out there in the summer. The heat would be a killer. Also, the blowing sand I think would put a lot of wear on the drive belt and tires. It would be interesting to hear someone's feedback that lives there. Keep doing what you're doing Jess, so jealous and proud of what you have been able to accomplish.
I upgraded my 2018 RoadGlide to a 24 RoadGlide in Whiskey Fire Red, Totally love it! Hey its basically a 23 Cvo with the 117 at half the price! win win!
I saw a video last week "Headset Killer on New Harley Infotainment" that shows a work-around for carplay. Includes links to a couple of parts needed to make it work.
Yes, for me solo travel is better. Stopped into my Harley dealer yesterday and sat on a 2024 Road Glide. Currently own a 2022 Heritage (my first Harley) with an added Advanblack King tour pack trunk. Definitely like the stock bars on the 2024 Road Glide compared to the 2023 Road Glide stock bars. I’m not much for changing things out on my own bikes other than adding a trunk. Gotta have a trunk. Looking forward to more vids of this trip.
What a great opp to do a road trip and some soul time! Really considering the new Road Glide (wish they would have done the RG Limited) for the next ride. Want to know how the nav is working with the HD Ride Planner or GPx (if you use) on this trip. Be safe, and look forward to the next vids.
Welll as an Canadain living in Ontario whilest still in winter and my babys bares are still in hibournation, i was so enjoyin watching you and your 2 co horts traveling, i put in on full screan and pretend im on the back lol So much looking forword to your next instalment.
Love your videos. Do you have any videos of your travel load out? Like what you take for camping verse what you take for hotel type travel? If you haven’t already done it. I think it would be be very interesting. Also since you have been doing this for awhile now maybe a video on how your load out has changed over time.
Love the videos Jess, just got my license and a bike last year farthest single day ride was Cincinnati, OH to Valdosta, GA. Just got another bike a couple of weeks ago and rode home with no heated gear in 18°f and no protection from the wind 🥶
Hi , Apple CarPlay does require a bluetooth connection even on my 2021 Road Glide. I have a small bluetooth reciever that I pair to the bike to fool it into working without connecting to my comm unit. By the way Android auto works without bluetooth connection -- Yay Harley !!!
Is the tour pack on your bike a HD stock tour pack? Why would they put black hinges on the side bags and white hinges on the tour pack? Just curious. Love your videos... :)
And shout out to blockhead..this dude literally showed me how to ride a motorcycle years ago...i studied his vids everyday in those parking lots and by the time i took the highway commission motorcycle course i was ready to rock and roll. Thanks again man.
On volume, if you’re using your phone always check that the volume is all the way up. My TriGlide I ran into that and finally realized my phone volume was way down 😎😎
What do you think? Is it time to upgrade Appa? (My 2018 Road Glide Special)
Would there be a way that you could add the stripe on a 2024 like Appa? Then it would be perfect!
No cause that’s your baby
I'd say let them work out the bugs first lol. Wouldn't buy the first year of any new redesign lol
I would say you had mentioned that you wanted to swap out the 2018 cause it didn’t have stuff you wanted… Get Harley to make you a deal.
No way would I buy one the first year. Before few of the new 24's have even hit the dealerships there is already an ecu flash update for a non start issue. If you really want a 24 RG wait until a later 24 build date. Hopefully by then more of the bugs will be worked out.

Oh wow i live in phoenix as well and did not know about the hummingbird sanctuary definitely going to take ride out that way
SO cool! Thank you!
Living in Phoenix now and have lived in sierra vista for a long time as well. Don’t know why but I always get excited when I see SV in TH-cam’s lol.
Amazing ride, beautiful countryside! I think you found Appa 2 ❤
You’re doing great Jess!!!
This was one of the best videos because I love seeing you interact with your friends. I love Blockhead’s channel and it was great to see his interaction with you and Amanda. They look so cute together! ❤

So far so good - great content - enjoy the ride
Love the avoiding rain. Vicariously I live through you. Solo decreases stress hey?
Keep it coming
Awesome trip and video 👍👍😎😎

Yes update Appa! Those 24s look hot! This was a great video 😊.
I really wanna do some long rod trips on a bike soon. Thinking I may upgrade from my Rebel 1100 to a 2024 Road Glide. Looks like ya'll had a blast on this trip. Can't wait to see more

Its great, I would LOVE, to ride that road!

Great video, Jess!!! I'm glad you had company on your journey! I know you prefer solo travel but it's a new experience and good to have help in case of an emergency.
Totally agree!
I'm a wee bit like you prefer to ride on me own, so can go my pace do things I like. However it's good now and again and a learning curve to ride with others, south the 'itches' out on the way, and now and again you find you can ride with others. 👍
Safe travels...
I've done Kansas city Missouri to the beach in Louisiana. 13hrs and 700 miles. Absolutely loved it. I wish my job enabled me to do that all the time.
So jealous, no matter what bike you driving across the country!! Excellent choise on the Texas Roadhouse, my favorite!
IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO GO TO THE TEXAS ROADHOUSE THIS WEEKEND 😁☺️
I'll be watching every installment!
What an outstanding way to do your first cross-country ride! Goodness this is giving me the biking fever. Live in Canada not great biking now. Can’t wait to get back on the bike
Thank you for this video. Late April I will ride from Knoxville, TN to Las Vegas then to Sierra Vista, AZ and back home. Enjoyed your footage from Vegas to Sierra Vista.

Fun trip, and it may be different then your usual solo riding, but it's fun and convenient to have great friends along to enjoy the adventure with!
Tombstone, Arizona seems such a cool place to visit.
It really is!
Love these vibes 🥰👌
I bought a 2022 Harley Davidson TriGlide Ultra. Maroon with black. So tickled👍👍😎😎
I need to do this soon. I got a Goldwing and I just need to get this off my bucket list.
Jess, I’m a Goldwing man, but I have to say that bike you are riding is very nice⭐️😊🇺🇸
Very cool thank you for sharing.
Jess this looks like an awesome trip so far! Thanks for the entertainment!❤😂👍👏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much for watching!
Good call on riding east... plus Bike Week is coming up and I'd think they'd want the demo unit there :)
Of course! That’s exactly what I was thinking! 😂😜

2023’s were the last year. I will have a full review video next week! (Gotta re-film it because my gopro audio didn’t work 🤦♀️)
I upgraded my 2018 RoadGlide to a 24 RoadGlide in Whiskey Fire Red, Totally love it! Hey its basically a 23 Cvo with the 117 at half the price! win win!

Blockhead is a lucky man to be traveling from Vegas to Florida with two beautiful girls. I am jealous.
Gorgeous bike but not to hear the radio is unacceptable at that price lever for a touring motorcycle is shameful. Awesome trip! Be safe, have fun!
Yeah, I can tell when you were riding through AZ. You were outrunning the rain, we had tons of rain just after you rolled through here.
Yeah we waited an extra day to avoid all rain
Nice video ty
Amanda seems like a fun person to hang with.
Yes, for me solo travel is better.

Quite the distance! Done it many times!!
Hi , Apple CarPlay does require a bluetooth connection even on my 2021 Road Glide. I have a small bluetooth reciever that I pair to the bike to fool it into working without connecting to my comm unit. By the way Android auto works without bluetooth connection -- Yay Harley !!!
Good to know!
Lovin it
Just a hunch i think this is her 1st cross country trip!!!
What gave you that idea?! 😂
Love ya girl!@@HerTwoWheels
Hope you have a PHENOMENAL day today 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I wish I could figure out how to edit video...thanks for the video
Those Harley bikes don’t have hested grips or seat?
Is the tour pack on your bike a HD stock tour pack? Why would they put black hinges on the side bags and white hinges on the tour pack? Just curious. Love your videos... :)
Hi Jess, can you tell me what hotel you stayed @ in Vegas? Thks, I'm going next year and am looking at options
My brother lives in Sierra vista! Hope you guys enjoyed it 🥰
I did!
Awesome video, this is the stuff that got me watching your vids long ago. Appreciate it. Hit that like button vigorously.
And shout out to blockhead..this dude literally showed me how to ride a motorcycle years ago...i studied his vids everyday in those parking lots and by the time i took the highway commission motorcycle course i was ready to rock and roll. Thanks again man.
Awesome, thank you!
Welcome back Jess!
Hi Jess, any chance that you may be able to post your route????
I-10 😅
Southeast Arizona is God’s country! Be careful on your trip!
hello sis, nice to meet you, im from indonesia
On volume, if you’re using your phone always check that the volume is all the way up. My TriGlide I ran into that and finally realized my phone volume was way down 😎😎
ЛАЙК !!! 😊👍
Make sure you fill up gas in van horn tx
How is the seat on the RG .? Other vloggers aren't that happy with them
I personally really enjoyed this one. It was more comfortable than the CVO ST seat. I crossed the country on it with no problem.
You need to come to Arizona more often
I agree
