Yes! Go Hawks!! Just started watching your vids, and you rock! Have a soft spot for 80’s toys and all these awesome channels that showcase the love and nostalgia for vintage/retro goodies! Love the “iron man” nails too!
Hello Laura!! Love your videos!! When you held up the Jaws Laserdisc I smiled and looked over at mine 3 feet away! Laserdiscs were amazing for the time. There were players that would play both sides without having to flip the disc over. Thanks for the videos! Your collection is fantastic!
PREPFORIT You're welcome, but I don't know if Walmart has the show. I haven't seen it at least. But who knows, maybe the stores have different merchandize in different areas. Good luck anyway!!
Gosh this reminds me of when I went to Denver Comic Con and saw their action figures it was pretty awesome got a feeling this toy show would give me a similar reaction though based on these prices to paraphrase Doctor Strange you gotta go the bargain
I always see that Ma-Mutt around but I never pull the trigger on that purchase, why IDK? It's cool looking. I was saying to myself I would've bought that big Predator because I thought you passed on it. I should've known a person that wakes up at 4am to go toy hunting knows sick figures. Your Godzilla is also very interesting. I'm buyin that shit too if I ever run into it lol ...
Omg i was at that show and didnt see you. I would have been near the back of the line as we waited to get in. Big show and was packed could hardly move. I collect blackstar as well so i liked your blackstar haul best.
Sooooo maaaannnnyyyyy toooyyysss!!!! Love it. It would actually be cool to see you explore and visit other cities or toy conventions when time and money permit. The Jaws disk set was amazing and so was the Godzilla!
Love the Jaws laser disc set with all the info and details, and of course Godzilla!! Jaws and Godzilla were two of my favorites as a kid and still are!
I love this channel it brings me back too childhood. Seeing your awesome toy collection makes me realise. How obsessed with dinosaurs I was and still am too this day wish I could have kept all my toys I was like the kid in Prehysteria lol Hi from the UK 🇬🇧
That godzilla is so cool! Definitely my favorite along with the dino riders. Man, I dont know what I would do with myself at a toy show. I would want to buy everything and it break my heart to leave anything behind. I would have to save up so much money so i could leave with pounds and pounds of toys. X'D
So beautiful and amazing road! Congrats for all your haul and definitely thundercats is my favourite (Mongor especially), thanks for sharing and keep on rocking! 🤘😉
Dino Riders was a fav show of mine growing up. Had a few of the VHS movies. Also had the big battery powered T-rex with removable armor and a few of the bad guy figures.
Awesome haul I’m extremely jealous right now about the most I can find around here is he-man figures, tmnt figures, and Star Wars I would love to come across some street shark figures
Laura, that was an Amazing haul!! There are so many cool toys, it's hard to pick any one. I am partial to the Thundercats you picked up! Truly Legendary!!!
I'm glad you were able to attend another toy show this year! You got a lot of cool toys this time and I could see there was a lot to choose from at that toy show, like Transformers! And meeting your fans over there must of been really amazing, I wish I could meet you one day, but I live near Ottawa, unless you want to make a trip over there at some point! Wink! ;) And it was cool to meet your brother, looks like your humor runs in the family as well! LOL! Kisses and hugs! XXXOOO
Hey there... Saw your video for the first time today and was totally entertained. I still love and collect toys, especially diecast cars and comic book characters. So, when one of your videos came up on TH-cam, I was intrigued. I went on to watch 5 other videos of yours. Your love of toys clearly shows with your enthusiasm and the fun you are having talking about them! Also, saw the bit about the haters, ignore them and enjoy doing what you love doing! Cheers!
I really liked the Street Sharks and the Big Predator but my favorite was Red 13, I don't know anything about final fantasy but I do know figures and that is a high quality piece for the collection!
Wow what a awesome haul there, I couldn’t choose one it’s all great, I love that Godzilla, hope your dad can get it working would be cool to see it doing it’s thing. That Blackstar figure is from the first wave you can tell which figures came from the first lot because they don’t have the spark gadget thing. Some times those laser discs have some great artwork. Has your brother got a TH-cam or Instagram be cool to see what he picked up.
Going to that Toy Convention is wanting to buy everything you see, very good acquisitions Thundercats, Street Shark and that Predator is the best, excellent figures that you have behind you especially the He Man Thanks for the video Laura
Vaguely remember laser disks, the same size as the old vinyl records,no wonder they never took off. Great looking predator figure. You’re very dedicated to those toy fairs. 😁
Awesome you have major chip hazard and archer! I was wondering if you had any small soldiers in your collection, i was obsessed with that toyline I started collecting them recently
Ya but unfortunately a few are pretty rare, one of them is the commando kip killigan I think theres 3 on eBay right now two mint in box for 400 and a loose figure for 260
I feel bad for kids because you're missing out on the best decade. The 80's were the perfect time to be a kid because we had the best toys, cartoons, movies, and music. It's nice that some kids today can still appreciate 80's culture. 👍
@@user-vn7ce5ig1z I agree pop culture was at it's peak in the 80s but the cartoons where nothing more than sterile toy commercials. I think early 2000s was where television animation thrived.
The 80's He-Man, Gi-Joe, Rambo, the Hulk, Airwolf, Blue Thunder, Star Trek Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider, The A Team, The Dukes of Hazard... *Sigh* I'm from 1972. ;))
Reminds me of some of my toys when I was little that would probably be quite collectable now. I had 2 street shark toys, i had that exact same slamu one and a blue tiger shark on roller blades. Had a red and black kenner face hugger, a green Jurassic park dinosaur with sail on its back and its mouth opened when pushing it's back leg, also had a large Godzilla that was about 30cm tall but it was silvery and blackish 2000 movie Godzilla, still was pretty cool. Also had a spawn movie figure about 40cm tall, was this demon with hair, a staff, movable limbs and sounds. Makes me want to find them all now.
Oh god that Godzilla figure! It's one of the earliest figures I got as a kid and I was, according to my parents, enchanted by its smoke feature. I probably have an ancient video of that moment when I first unboxed it. We're talking '91/'92. Ahh, you made my day :)
The godzilla!!!!!!! Man If your dad could fix it That would be nice to see the smoke!!!! Let's all say a little prayer🙏🙏🙏🙏 I just picked up A Mega Godzilla!!! The one with the fingers shoot out it's pretty cool!!!!
Wow!! That looked like a great show! I've been to the PNE MANY MANY times! PNE stands for Pacific National Exhibition. My favorite item you picked up had to be the Godzilla but I must admit if I would have seen that Jaws Laser Disc set, I probably would have picked it up too, and I've never even seen a Laser Disc player.... Glad you had fun on the mainland.
The best buy and overall figure in this haul for me has gotta be good ole' Nanaki (Red XIII's birth name for clarity)! A well-sculpted, excellently-articulated, and intricately-painted representation of a great character, and she scores this rare beast for $5! That's a plastic gem if I ever saw one!
I WISH i would have found your channel earlier... cheers from Vermont northeast US.. i have been on youtube for 4 years now collecting. its time for a change. i have been collecting transformers, hotwheels, marvel legends and so much more. awesome toy haul i do love 80s and 90s toys!!! 👍 😀
I want to start collecting street sharks, my brother had them as a child (still has them today) and I would play with them because they were so interesting, but I felt like I was not able to fully enjoy the toy line because I did not know their names or their backstories. Now that the internet is a thing I can watch all the episodes and learn about the characters and fully enjoy them :)
Nice haul! Of the items there, I’d be eyeing that Signature Jaws LaserDisc or the large Kenner Predator figure. Also, tell your brother he has great taste in football teams. Us Seattleites appreciate his support.👍🏻
I totally had this Godzilla as a kid, and even before you mentioned the smoke feature I remembered that he had this particular oily smell because of that. I actually think mine can still walk.
I honestly don't know how women like you exist. Just dropping a little compliment here. I just think you're one of a kind unique. Thanks for making this type of thing that much cooler! Not only that, but you definitely have a great narrative voice. Kudos on your channel!
I had the JAWS LaserDisc Signature Set back in the late 90's. It was priced at 100.00 (I got it at a liquidation sale for 20 bucks. Brand. New!) Universal released some of their classic films as part of this box set series. The Jaws set was really cool. Included with the movie was an in depth documentary on the production of the film w/ interviews from Spielberg, Rick Dreyfuss, Roy Scheider, & Peter Benchley. When the movie was first released on DVD, all of the features from the LD were ported but the documentary was an abridged version. The LaserDisc player I had was a Pioneer karoake machine, with auto-reverse tech (no disc flipping) & Dolby Digital AC-3 Surround. Jurassic Park was awesome on LD.
@Laura Legends Have you ever got any Extreme Dinosaurs action figure toys??? They are quite similar in characteristics to the Street Sharks action figure toys!
That Jaws set is sweet! FYI a lot of the stock Great White footage from that movie was filmed in South Australian waters near Port Lincoln, by famed shark expert Rodney Fox. He actually survived a horrific Great White bite. Awesome haul Laura. Cheers🍻👍
The Jaws signature collection Laserdisc(!) was actually the first widescreen presentation of Jaws you could buy in the U.S. As a life-long super fan it was danged amazing. Before this it was only available in a crappy, cropped pan and scan version. For a handful of years Laserdisc was the absolute state of the Art in home video. Great job on your channel! I’ve got so many dinos and street sharks still from when I was a child
I wish toy conventions were open everyday, I'd be a happy man. Nice pickups, good taste in toys, keep up the great videos
I’m 40 and love how younger generations are so into the toys we had as kids
Finding my old Dino Riders book, The Volcano Machine & seeing these Dino Rider toys, it makes me want to track some down myself.
omg..totally had the King Neptul figure that my grandmother got me! He actually came with a little companion demon!! this channel is awesome!

Those are indeed Laserdiscs, I had that same Jaws Signature Collection set. DVD didn't launch until 1997 and it pretty much killed Laserdisc off.
