As you know, the videos are few weeks behind real time. We would like to address our deepest thoughts for the people suffering from severe floods throughout Australia. We wish you love and strength. And if we weren't working on the remote station, we would be volunteering to help those in needs. Thinking of you all.
Thanks for the shout out for the flood affected everywhere. There are some amazing hero's to be celebrated but they're still busy doing. Cheers, can't wait for the next chapter 🐑🐏🐎🚜
Why are you bonnet surfing? Do you wanna fall off n get run over? We are trying our hardest to stop this idiot behaviour in the bush from city people who don’t think about there actions. Don’t ask for work on the land if your gonna act like that. It’s dangerous out here as it bloody is. We have laws in this country to keep us safe for a reason. Use some common sense next time ya muppet’s.
I do not have a clue as to what you are doing, the caption is saying one thing and the content is saying another...............................so i wont watch.
I'm amaze that those showers and toilets are still there. I used them during an outback trip in 1983. I found them at about 8am one morning and they were spotlessly clean. They are the best publish showers I have ever found and I have never forgot them. Now there's a lasting impression lol...
You guys are awesome! Love your videos! Reminds me the farm life and the outback life. Hopefully I can go back Australia and travel around Australia soon!
The road from broken hill to Wilcannia is fully tarred, the Cobb highway from Wilcannia to Ivanhoe is 98% tarred, only 23klms of dirt. As for food there’s a Supermarket in Ivanhoe called “Ivanhoe Market “ you”ll be surprised at the prices, open Thursday, Friday and half day Saturdays.
Being packed up and fueled up at the starting line is the best feeling! It’s hard to not want to speed at first from the adrenaline, no? Looking forward to this series of videos
Greetings from Romania ,far far away of you, always a pleasure to see this beautiful places in the videos , I watch since this Journey start from Europe , wish all the best and Keep calm and overlanding :)
Looks like you're set for a few weeks of sheep mustering!! If and when you make it to QLD 4627 you might like to do some cattle mustering too if it coincides with your travels, and as I mentioned before, being a Landy fan, even though I am now in Cruiser country I would be more than happy to help with any maintenance or repairs for you. God Bless.
It’s an absolute awesome bit of New South Wales absolutely loved it, we did that drive from Sydney via Hilston up to Ivanhoe and across to Menindee and nice camping over there that was during the last big drought so glad they’ve been having rains. It’s a great trip you should head up to Cameron Corner Country via Tibooburra and stop at the Packsaddler Pub, great burgers 🍔
You have the talent to turn an ephemeral groceries shopping moment into a Lord Of The Rings quest for food. ¡Dudes you are quite something else! Liked the 50's Frenchie style dresses. ¡¡Pura Vida!!
Great to share your journey, hopefully everything being as they are l will be back on the road with my County in 3 months ,l still get excited doing road trips.😁😁😁😁
You might want to drop the resolution a little and up the framerate on your camera. Its a little jerky. What an amazing video and adventure though guys!
I have seen a young couple loading and stacking groceries at my local Aldi. They had a Hyundai station wagon and it was packed to the brim in the boot and back seats, with a couple if eskies. I have heard from the locals that the couple is living off grid and would make a trip to the shops only once every 6-7 weeks.
Another great video guys - while you're in that part of the world try to find a chance to visit Mungo National Park, home of the 40,000+ year old Mungo Lady and Mungo Man relics plus some other cool artefacts.
First time viewer. Gee, you have the Defender set up well. We have a 2010 Defender 110 which we had set up for a roof top tent until we bought our camper van back in 2016. Can’t wait to get stuck into your videos! Happy, safe travels!
as usual a very good video, best editing award ! thanks for all you are doing for us; You don't know but I ( or we) are travelling with you. no chance to go where and visit crocodile dundee country ! so please do it for us. keep going, keep driving and take care. merci et félicitations pour cette très belle vidéo. si relaxant ! on en a bien besoin. merci
So…..like living in Montana. I lived there and it took 2 hours, driving without a speed limit to get to the doctor. Treated water had just become a ‘thing’. Before that it was 15 miles to get potable water. Feel free to drink the untreated. On another topic….her smile reminds me of the Steve Carell SNL sketch about selling everything to live in an RV. I LOVE it!
You are living the dream I love our country and yeah we drive and drive to get to wherever.....we don't care how long it takes and why would you......have a look outside ✌️🙏
4:14 Giant redgum @ Orroroo ! :) I was there during my 2018 Ghan Sojourn. Might come through again on way down from Pitchi Ritchi railway on my 2022 Ghan Sojourn.
@3.56 srands proud a national italian hero. Nino Cirani's aziza 3. The land Rover used by italian national geography photographer Nino Cirani. A Milestone of italian 4by4 advetouring. So Nice to see it in display down there!
I’m from Wilmington Nc USA and for 6 years I worked for Peerless Overland Specialist frame off restoration of Land Rover Defenders and super mod. Crazy coincidence. I think the universe told me to sub 👍
Sonny, what ya doing with a left-handed left-footed drive vehicle in Aust?....the controls are all back to front where you got to use your left hand to put the keys in the ignition being on the left side of the steering colume and left foot to operate the alecerator & brake but the right foot for the clutch, left hand to switch on the headlights, left hand to activate the windscreen wipers, left hand to operate the indicators, leftbhand to operate the powered windows. It's very hard to train the brain backwards.
We used to live 55 km from a sort of decent grocery store, 110k from a good one, so no where near the 250 km. This was in Canada so the weather made it difficlt sometimes and the road was undrivable. But it was a life choice.
Looking happy both just stay safe and well. Remote here in the Uk is something "flippy do da2 to use to control the tv. sadly never find it. I believe it is totally owned by the kids lol
YAY!. I had commented before watching (re laptop charger). So glad you got this. Hope it works ok. I use up to three. Drone, laptop, whatever. Also have a few usb sockets at hand. All run off a 75 Ahr lithium, charged from 160W solar & car, via a 20 Amp DCDC charger. Some of my cigarette lighter plugin stuff I've converted to Anderson plugs (eg my 22 litre 'fridge.
This might be a few weeks too late, but your usb chargers might get overloaded (the reason for them blowing up). If you have a 15A fuse on you 12V socket in the car, look into either a 12V inverter (Bestek 300W for example, what I'm using), or into replacing one of your 12V sockets with a marine grade USB C (PD, up to 40W) port - if your laptop can charge from USB C.
The only vechike is a Landry. Mine has taken my to places that I always wanted to go. Never let me down. Even when it had a cracked head it got me home 3000ks also did a bearing in the back diff. Ute screaming its head off only doing between 80 -90ks/per hour we made it.
Toyota, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota. I know what you mean. I am a Land Cruiser guy, and when we get really remote it is very rare to see Land Rover, and 90+% of vehicles we see are various models and years of Land Cruiser. Mine is a 2014 200 series Sahara.
One way to fix hole in the wood without using bigger screws is to use the wood part of matches with a big of wood glue and then reuse the screws. The wood from the matches will add enough filler to keep the screws in while the glue hardens

Thanks heaps mate. I told Stephy this is an awesome video. One of my favourite's 😊
She has grown so much in that area. Really excellent
Like living in the mountains of Wyoming no big deal except we can get 24 inches of snow in less than 24 hrs. from Nov, to April
I have never seen you with so much food. I hope you enjoyed the time on the station
To protect glass jars you can put each in a sock if needed. I have travelled and been afraid of rough roads and smashing.
that song Stephy so beautiful.....in admiration of the two of you ....enjoy the trip into NSW.
This is great trip thanks for sharing guys and please upload more of these!
Always love and enjoy your video, have a safe journey where ever you guys go.

On va écouter ça !
Very impressive

On a stTion i used to go to the lady of the house went shopping driving a .ack semi trailer and would be away for 2 or3 days
what kind of land rover is it that u guys use???
Those beer cans might not survive the trip in the back. Rough roads are the enemy of fizzy cans of drink.☺

few weeks ago already ... :(
Thank you!
This is the dream just here
This was already few years ago but it was a wonderful experience. More videos about what work we actually did there and life on the station.
Ok..but we will see how you do in Canada…!
