In my D9 Navamsa, I have Beeja in the first house in the sign of Pisces, and Saturn is aspecting it with its 3rd aspect. Well... I'm 27yo & gay, so it was expected, but it still left a sour taste in my mouth when I calculated it and realized that I really won't be having children of my own.

Because d1 is the surface level and when you know each other longer the fruits of that compatibility starts to rise aka (navamsa chart d9) So using the d9 chart for synastry is accurate especially for people above 30 correct? I would love to know your thoughts and experience and if you had ever checked a couples d9 synastry.
We certainly use the D9 for compatibility, and some of those techniques are programmed into the Dilanu software (prodilanu.com). However, remember that the D9 is a harmonic of the D1 - it does not supercede it. The D1 is not 'superficial' as it is the basis for everything else. In fact, it is the deepest chart of all, because the timing and karmas for every area of life are deduced from it. For example, you do not use D9 for career, or to calculate dasha/bhukti.
