Your reaction at the end was so similar to mine, incredibly frustrating like being emotionally blue balled! In interviews they say that V and Eve share the most comfort, intimacy, and acceptance with each other this season, so I’m trying to stay hopeful that’s what’s coming in the future but it’s hard when we have only seen an inexplicably cold and bitter Eve. I do think it’s also interesting to note the music choice in both of their scenes kind of reflects what Eve might be feeling but not necessarily showing. In the beginning, choosing Strange Effect (the bus scene song) when she was trying to seem unaffected by Villanelle, then at the end the lyrics “I was wrong” playing while Eve looks at V as she’s holding her hand.
I had the same reaction. I really love killing eve, I do - but this whole build up build up, build up, really is so upsetting. Like we are again in season one or something, that’s what it feels like to me… Honestly the best part of this series and villaneve is the fandom, the theories and all the analyzing on tumblr. Aaand the edits. But great reaction ❤️
I'm beginning to think that its not Villanelle that Eve wants but the chase. Its all about the chase for Eve first Villanelle, now Helene and than the Twelve. Eve is the Scorpion
I mean it literally feels like season 3 never happened? Why is Eve all of the sudden such an asshole to Villanelle despite everything that was said between them in the bridge scene? We finally got some kind of resolution at the end of s3, ready to move on from the endless cat-and-mouse thing and yet all of this is ignored in season 4. We're back where we started and only have so many episodes left. It's frustrating. The changing writer thing NEVER works. I'm so disappointed :/
@@naturellebella Just came back here to say I had been hoping for this all season and what happened yesteray was vile, cheap, tone-deaf writing. It makes me too upset to even think about how much they fucked up the show. Can't believe after all these TV shows, all the gays we have buried, we're back with 2004-style writing. The fact that THIS is the best Laura Neal and her team of writers could come up with is fucking infuriating. I wish they would have stopped after season 2. The only thing I'm happy about is the well-deserved 3.3 star IMDB rating.
Your look 🔥! That beginning - I wasn't breathing! I didn't even notice Strange Effect was playing until someone pointed it out. Like V, I can't handle Eve preteeending she's not obsessing. Cause I saw that, girl! Needing a full breath after leaving the room - you ain't fooling no one. You bursting into song is one of my favorite things, btw, so thank you for that. Not once, but twice! And then that therapy scene and LOVE declaration, the handholding, what happened next... let's not even. If she wanted to keep her safe or focus on her mission, fine! It was still a massive stab in the back. Why is she so pissed off and trying so hard to push her away? The teasing is very LOUD, though, so I believe it will pay off. And this intense angst at the very start of the season... fingers f*cking crossed. Anyway, loved your reaction as usual. You make me laugh, which really helps process the frustration! haha
Morgue girl is Anjana Vasan from We Are Lady Parts, a wholesome and hilarious badass sitcom released last summer about a muslim female punk band in London. She played the main character and was fantastic, really recommend everyone check it out
This angst better pay off in a spectacular way I swear. Like I need them to have an argument and Eve needs to actually be honest. I want V to lose her shit with Eve. Then they can go and be assassins together.
I was reacting the same :))) I really loved this episode, it was delicious to see them both more with all the hidden details agh. And omg, it is frustrating as hell to see Eve not reacting and seeming so uninterested with Villanelle but it might be as everyone pointed out here just Ever pushing her feelings down, her being the cold assassin now. Why with V? We don't know. (maybe cause V is trying to change and that is boring for Eve!?) But what I think is that this distance created between them might be intentional - and that Eve pushing V away, playing not interested, appearing so cold towards her will be a mask which will fall off eventually. And all this frustrating part I think it's needed to build a more intense and 'much wanted' closeness of them. I think they didn't wanted for us to have it without all the rollercoaster of feelings that Killing Eve is known for. So yeah I'm hoping, fingers crossed! ❤️❤️❤️
Alice, loved you reaction, I feel the same way. The interview with Variety when Sandra Oh says you want them together but you really don't want it has led me to feel deflated but events thus far this current series. This is the first time I am slowly losing hope for Villanelle and Eve to be truly together and not looking forward to the next episode. But I've been invested since day one so of course I'll watch. The 12 should be a character already known to the audience and checking the imdb has given no clues. My dream 12 leader would be Phoebe Waller Bridge but that won't happen, enjoy other comments but feeling let down thus far.
Of course, the writers want to tease the bejeezus out of us.. but it's interesting to see the counterpoint and arc of V and E's character development .. who's becoming who? Another interesting note: The writer for this episode is Luke Jennings- the original writer for the Villanelle stories this show is based on.
yeah it was a tough episode to watch for sure, but at least on twitter this theory was everywhere this past week, so we kinda saw it coming. Now let's see what happens from now on because we're going pretty much knowing nothing about the next episodes so it'll be interesting... I think Eve clearly is deeply affected by Villanelle but doesn't want to show it (scene outside the hotel room and when v touches her hand) bc she's focused on the mission about the 12 and wants to get it done once for all, so she's afraid V could ruin her plan.. and that's kinda what Sandra said in many interviews too :( Totally agree about having to wait to the very last episodes to get to see something more between them, it's super frustating given it's the last season ever... my hopes are on episode 7 though so let's hope it pays off at least 1 episode before the finale! Kinda funny that this episode was written by Kayleigh and she's gay so idk she clearly enjoys seeing us suffer lol 😭 Also about what you said about Fernanda's husband, yeah, that's Lars apparently.
One of the only ways I can see Eve and V getting together is if Eve's boy toy turns out to be a part of the 12 and stabs her in the back (metaphorically or physically). Or if Eve gets all of her answers and her life doesn't change at all, that nothing happens. And then she realizes that the only one she has is V, who is actively trying to change her ways.
I just love your reaction class cracks me up ....... lord help us with this .....my heart cant cope god its killing me the closeness on the bridge to this now..... V bloody arrested fecking hell
@@ghgh1759 ohhh! well i must say i really hope you’re wrong. we’ve waited too long for 1 damn kiss this season. i need at least an entire episode of them being together. cute and domestic. i DESERVE it!

I loved this episode, it felt like season one and was the best we have had in a while. It’s made me realise how pointless and irritating the first two episodes were though.
I agree they should have done it in the first episode. I have so many mixed feelings people are saying Eve is protecting Villanelle from the 12 or her urge to kill but like ?? How is Villanelle going to forgive her?? I just do not understand
Get use to it this is killing eve I get it I think there is more to that scene eve is pushing her feelings down But you can only push them down so much kayleigh Liewellyn wrote this episode No no I think eventually comes together Yes I did wonder about the Scotland thing so many questions to answer
K first, your hair looks *incredible*... second, you might be recognising the newbie assassin from We Are Lady Parts? 100% recommend if you haven't seen it (absolutely hilarious and has sapphic rep)
When Villanelle dropped that guy she had in a chokehold, she clearly looks down and then drops his head on the table..... The choice of dragging him around with the chokehold gleefully like a dog with an animal in its mouth to show its owner..... wow, V lives in a world of no limits violence where the guy who just helped her find some clarity is just an object. She still enjoys shocking Eve. No wonder Eve is so turned off... Still... how could any one turn down someone that hot and dangerous??
S4 should has being S3, feels like that S3 didn't happen and looks like S4 is just after of S2 instead. In S4 feels like Eve hates be in love/envolve with Villanelle because of all what happened in Roma.

Killing Eve season 4 is giving me war flashbacks of Game of Thrones' last season. Disappointing and doesn't make any sense. At least if things make sense I can get on board. The whole Christian/Baptise thing was so unnecessary. 2 episodes wasted.
If V doesn't get to smell Eve's skin by the end of the series, I will fucking riot
