This final scene to me was amazing. Season two finale villianelle sees Eve as a posession, You're Mine! Here she is willing t let Eve walk away even though it will hurt V to do it.
Oh my gosh I know. 😭 On Patreon someone commented that season 2 was "I love you, you're mine." And season 3 was "I love you, you're free." And it broke me all over again. I'm so damn proud of Villanelle but at the same time I don't want her thinking people are better off without her. 💔💔💔💔
The ending could have been so much more exiting!!!!! Imagine they had that conversation, and as they walked away from each other, Villanelle suddenly got taken by the 12 and driven away, as she was screaming for Eve!!!!!!! That would have been SHOCKING and made you wanna watch season 4!!!!! But no. No budget. So we’re just gonna let them talk and walk away. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I find it humorous that V said she didn't know what she was doing dancing... now go back and watch the scene where V dressed up as K for his birthday and literally said "C'mon dance with me" and proceeded to waltz with K in the apartment.
It's actually comforting to see you cry because I cried as well. Just finished the show a few days ago. And it's nice to see that others have such a strong reaction to it too. Every time I see it tears are coming
Kelsea, you crossed the finish line!!! Just in time to get some rest, hydrate and be ready to season 4! It was a great marathon to rewatch the series with you. Your reactions are so genuine and sensitive. I admire you for being so open and vulnerable in front of a camera! I wasn't familiar with reaction videos before Killing Eve, but when I finished watching it, I wanted so badly to watch it again with someone. Then I discovered the reaction videos and I loved them. This show provokes so many rational and emotional reactions that we just feel the urge to discuss it with other people or at least witness someone else being as excited, anxious, happy or sad as we were. Season 3 left a lot of holes that I'm not sure will be fixed. I think at least Kenny's death will have a better resolution. But to tell you the truth, I only care about Eve and Villanelle and how they will develop and complete the arc of their relationship. I think this will be crucial to how the series will be remembered.
Lol YES!! Gotta replace all those tears I've lost. Must hydrate! I have had so much fun experiencing this show with you guys! Falling in love with the characters and going through all the emotions has definitely been more fun having people to discuss with along the way. This show is exactly that. An EXPERIENCE. Ya the holes are pretty frustrating, because we've seen how much better the writing can be. I really hope they do better wrapping things up next season, but the hole I care most about is the Kenny one. However, like you, I'd even give up on that one if they AT LEAST handle the end of Villanelle and Eve's story well. I absolutely agree that it will be crucial in how they're remembered. I mean look at GoT. So many seasons of incredible writing, but they botched the ending and that's all they will ever be remembered for now. They're the writers that ruined GoT. I will never forgive these writers if they don't do V and E justice in their ending.
@@KelseasComments A lesbian who hasn't seen Portrait of a Lady on Fire???? Girl, drop everything and go watch it right now on hulu. You won't be able to think of anything else for at least 3 months. It will wreck you in the most beautiful way.
Lol I know everyone says it's so good but it looks so boring!!! I was supposed to watch it a couple months ago but the first movie I watched for this channel was The World To Come... And it made me so mad at period dramas I've avoided them ever since. 😂😂😂 I get so damn emotionally invested in shows and movies that period dramas almost always turn out to be emotional self harm. 🤣 I really need to just see it though, everyone says it's so good!
It's been 84 years since I watched and cried at that ending, it's finally time to find out what's up with our girls. All my hopes are pinned in someone's tweet who said that in the book they end up together, whether it's the dark side or the good side, I don't even care, I just want them TOGETHER and HAPPY. My favorite scene in this episode was the dancing, because it's was such a beautiful and intimate moment between them.
🤣 I CACKLED at the "it's been 84 years" 🙌 Ugh I agree! I don't even care where they end up as long as they're together and happy!!! HOW DARE THEY MAKE US FALL IN LOVE WITH VILLANELLE AND NOT LET US WATCH HER BE HAPPY. The dancing was fucking amazing. Watching Villainelle be held and to dance for the first time was worth EVERYTHING. 😭 And their conversation was so good. Both while dancing and on the bridge!
2:04 in we have a specific Easter Egg for S4 where Carolyn says " I can't see that working out for MI6, can you?" In S4 Villianelle and Carolyn team up together but Carolyn is NO longer MI6 !
I think they did use green screen for the bridge scene. Now, for the full Killing Eve experience, you should wait a couple years before watching season 4. More seriously, thanks for getting through these so quickly, and with great reactions at that.
Oh my gosh that would be so hard. 🤣 That's interesting that they used the green screen. They haven't done that so far... I've truly enjoyed every minute. This is a special show, complaints and all. I'm so glad I did this.
@@KelseasComments I'll go find the video, but I think they used a little green screen for the spice shop exterior, Jodie Comer has commented that she'd never used nearly as much green screen as on Free Guy.
@@KelseasComments Here it is: th-cam.com/video/kFYUUkkRCyk/w-d-xo.html I think the bridge would have been hard to film on site: the traffic is noisy and actually presents danger (wait, is that Jodie!!?!?), plus much of the scene would be shot with the camera over the water, so that would be a challenge.
Whichever way you do it, I'll watch. You're one of the best, of many, KE reactors. World TV screening times do stand in your way for simultaneous watching though
Ya I kinda explained that confusingly. I didn't mean watching the episode simultaneously. I'll still have to watch it and record by myself and edit and all that, but when I upload videos it gives me the option to do a "live premiere" which just means you guys can set it to remind you, and then whoever is around when it's uploaded can watch it and chat with me live about the episode while my reaction is premiering. It's really not much different than just chatting in the comments after uploading so I'm not sure it'll be worth the extra effort but it might be worth a trial experiment! But ya, it won't be much different! And thank you for the compliment by the way! That means the world to me. I've enjoyed this show so much.
The number of times I've sobbed listening to "tell me" on repeat after that bridge scene is ridiculous. Also, I agree with you; I would almost rather have Konstantin murder Kenny because the other option is absurd. But like someone mentioned in the comments before (very subtly not to spoil you), the day Eve so rudely threw the cake, we got to see the roof. It's waist-high. It's nonsensical that Kenny would just fall back. So that's either a clue or a mistake. But I hope you never get too mad at Daddy K. The way you two laugh together is just way too cute. Ps - The only interesting part of Geraldine being how Carolyn reacts to her was so savage but so accurate! 🤣
Oh my gosh I believe it. That song IS that scene now. I mean I hadn't heard it before this anyway, but I will never hear it again without emotionally experiencing this scene all over again. 💔😭 Ya that's what I'm saying!! It would be offensive if the writers actually made that big of a nonsensical mistake. As much as I adore Konstantin I'd rather have him be lying. However, the writers already lost all my faith because the fact that Bear had video evidence, that he just so happened to get because of CANDY, that he also just so happened to forget completely about and not think about once after Kenny mysteriously died, that he ALSO just so happened to conveniently remember for the finale episode? I mean this episode felt like some GoT shit. It felt like the writers were fucking with us and going out of their way to destroy an amazingly set up tv show. I FEEL LIKE I'M BEING GASLIT. 🤣 But ya, it would be hard to stay mad at Konstantin. He smiles and I smile. He laughs and I laugh. I can't help it. I find him maddeningly, adorably hilarious. 🤣 Poor Geraldine. She's the only character with any emotional awareness but that's all the writers gave her. That's all she is. A walking therapy session. Every time she talks all I hear and see in my head is... "SHE DOESN'T EVEN GO HERE!!!" 🤣 and then my internal monologue starts booing her. 😂😂😂
@@KelseasComments OMG that is perfect! I will never unsee the mean girls reference now 😂😂😂 I think that made me like her more though. And I knooow, the secret camera is honestly the worst plot hole they purposely created. Why??? I try to convince myself he forgot it because it was just a camera for candy but when they spent a whole season investigating Kenny's death that happened IN THE BUILDING… why? I don’t think the other seasons ever lost the plot this much. So I’m hoping S3 will be an isolated event. And it will be remembered for the bus, the dance and the bridge. 😂 here’s hoping! I’m really scared for the emotions of the FINAL season though. Seeing you cry broke me! 😭
@@AnaFox ya the writers have a lot of making up to do. But I heard it's the same writers as this season so I'm really worried. At least we are about to find out, for better or worse. 🤣 I've been so excited for the final season that I haven't stopped to think about that meaning the story is ending. Ughhh having a show or book you're really invested in end is a special kind of grief. 😭 I'm not ready!! Lol. But hopefully this final season gives us everything we want and need.
My thought was: Well, Rhian -- that's what happens when you get between Villanelle and Eve. Instant meat grinder.... For me, when they walked away from each other on the bridge, it felt as if they were connected by an enormous invisible rubber ribbon and the tension and attraction between them grew with every step. For me them both turning around meant it doesn't work, They are tied together. For good. And in my eyes all that comes next should, in fact MUST take that into account... Everything else would be really bad writing missing the whole point of the show, right?
IMHO, if Carolyn had been thinking in her initial meeting with Villanelle, she would have suggested that she would consider hiring Villanelle if she could provide solid information on Kenny's killer. Of course, Villanelle could have offered to find out who killed Kenny rather than shrugging.
I swear your average fan of KE could write a more interesting plot than the actual writers. Your suggestion for Villanelle to find out who killed Kenny to prove to Carolyn that she can be an asset? Nah, Kelsea, that would make too much sense. And why didn't what's his face check his frickin camera the day he found out Kenny died??? Nah, that would have been too easy! At this point, I'm expecting Kenny to have actually died by walking off the roof. I have zero faith in the writers for season 4 so....maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised? To me, them turning around means they have chosen each other. That they clearly can't walk away from what they have. But just wait, they'll be separated for the first 4 episodes of the new season. Minimum. I am also not a fan of Eve so I've enjoyed your reactions. The writers really did Sandra dirty. I'm in CA so 7pm pst is perfect
RIGHT???? I agree, it's honestly a little offensive that this is the shit the writers gave us. "Oh hey, so I just so happen to have these cameras that I set up to catch a candy thief and I didn't think about them after Kenny was killed, but SURPRISE!!! Just in time for the finale I remembered and ta-da! VITAL FOOTAGE!" I am flabbergasted that they got the season 3 writers for season 4. Do they even want to do well? I mean with social media it's so easy for them to find out what their viewership likes and don't like. The fact that they thought the writers did well enough in season 3 to bring them back for season 4 is wild to me. They clearly aren't even trying anymore. But ya, let's just hope that our expectations are so low they may surprise us lol. I really really hope you're right about them choosing each other! I was so excited about them having such an honest conversation that it took me longer than normal to "read the room" and realize where things were headed. Then once I was sad/worried/crying I was too scared to get my hopes up about them turning around. I don't trust the show not to hurt me now lol. Damn them. I hope you're right that they're choosing each other, and I'm also worried you're right about them being separated for most of season 4 LOL. The writers don't seem to have much variety. I think it's unfortunate they seem to think the only value of the show is the yearning between them. Because them together as a team is GOLD too. They could and should do more with that as well. It doesn't have to just be them working their way back to each other season after season. They REALLY did do Sandra dirty. I love Eve in some moments but so many of her choices make me want to drop kick her out the window lol. She's lucky Villanelle wants her and I want Villanelle to be happy so desperately because I would have given up on her otherwise.
I can't comment on it right away but I'll try to do it before Sunday evening (knowing that for me it's already Saturday afternoon) lol Just to tell you that I loved seeing your reactions and imagine that the rest of us had to wait 2 long years since that last episode... horrible wait. For my part, France will not broadcast before Monday and on a platform to which I do not have access. But I hope to have seen episode 1 by the middle of the week. I will come back then ;) Breathe, console yourself, the next season promises to be intense :)
THIS WHOLE EPISODE WAS A MASTERPIECE (until the end I hated that cliffhanger I loved it but hated it at the same time) the dance scene with those two was just Amazing and I legit was screaming my Ship is sailing, the train scene was brutal I'm glad they didn't show the aftermath, when Villanelle went to Eve's work that whole scene was adorable and funny again just WOW, and then near the end they were a full on comedic duo when they were in the room with Carolyn, Konstantin, and Paul it was hilarious! Again it was amazing and I know for a fact you will be really confused and kind of hating the new episode, I did not know how to feel about it! 🤣😂
Kelsea I thought you'd need tissues for this episode, I can't wait for final season and I'm also dreading it only 8 more episodes if either of these get killed I'll be gutted.
a couple of things, from what i’ve gathered in the clips the official ke page has posted, carolyn actually hasn’t accepted konstantin’s answer for what happened to kenny. she’ll be looking into it more. so glad you caught up to watch with the rest of us tomorrow!! i took monday off of work just to stay home and obsess properly lol. it’s been a great ride kelsea! on to season 4!
She better fucking not! If they writers expect us to believe that happened OR that Carolyn would drop it there I'll go protest on their lawns. 🤣 That's offensive. I'm so glad I made it in time!!! Eeek!!! WE ONLY HAVE 8 EPISODES LEFT. I'm so excited and at the same time so not ready for it all to be over. I hope they give us an amazing ending. Ya it would be Monday night at 7!
Ugh I was so excited for them to be talking so openly and honestly that it took me a bit to "read the room" and realize where the scene was heading. And then it broke me. 😭
@@KelseasComments if it was a sad episode that left us with an expectation, but little reality of where it is going, if they gave each other that kiss that we need ohhhh there is God I don't know what to think, but I tell you that I cry with both of them🥺😢😭💔
Btw, none of the teasers or trailers for season 4 spoke or showed or even hinted at anything about Kenny, his death, or why he died and by whom None. Sooooooo.
I think some of the shots on Bridge were definitely filmed there and finished off in a studio for other shots or reasons. I’m watching this at 7.am uk time and so can’t really watch along because I don’t understand the time differences especially as we aren’t seeing it here until the next day and that’s only on download from BBCI player at 6.am and then is not on regular BBC until NEXT WEEK!. I’m not that great with technology to link up or even have better tech to do that sort of thing even if I did know how to. Nevertheless I shall follow you with all that I can access whatever system or time that I can access it. I love your reactions and agree so much with you over many scenes and insights . It was so sad watching you get upset but thank you for your vulnerability and honesty. I’m glad others also pointed out that Eves bag was not in the final shot on the bridge !. Geraldine also left her bags behind when she was in Konstantin’s house cooking him a meal and called him a Bastard and hope he’d die then walked out without her bags🙄. If you look closely in the dance scene as V is about to get of her chair there is a glimpse of her wearing white shoes obviously these were probably her off scene comfort shoes because V is wearing Black ones throughout the episode. I could go on and point out other scenes that were inside out or back to front that left me wondering what the hell was going with the lack of professionalism sad to say. Anyhow all this is overlooked with our gorgeous and fabulous actors and their very special chemistry that keeps me entertained over and over. Thanks again for all your reactions that have also entertained and sustained me through some difficult times let alone the Pandemic.
Oh I totally understand the complications with technology and all that. I'm not good with this stuff either! It's been a pain in the ass to learn every step of the way LOL. No worries if you can't make the premieres! The videos will still be posted a usual, it will just be a fun option for anyone who happens to be around and available when they get uploaded! Ya there was a LOT of sloppiness in this episode when it came to how they shot scenes and stuff, definitely felt way less professional than earlier seasons! It's so odd though I don't even know how they let themselves get that sloppy. How did no one notice this stuff? It's like they just stopped caring or something. They really are lucky that they have such amazing actors and the fans are already so in love with the characters, because I don't think anyone would have stuck around for just the writing and production sake. There were some really great moments in this episode thanks to Jodie and Sandra! Thanks for following along, I really mean it when I say that it's an honor for me to have you all here with me. It means more to me than you know.
Raaaah here I am again and my god I feel so excited about what is coming in such a short time now! But that's not the point. Tonight is the last episode for the hour broadcast of KE. And what an episode again! For the first time, we see Villanelle and Carolyn alone, interacting together and it's very pleasant. Carolyn is clearly in a strong position. What struck me in this episode is that Carolyn KNOWS Hélène... how? Under what circumstances since this person has never been mentioned so far. A lot of people then suspected Carolyn of being one of the Twelve after that and...even though I don't think that's the case, it still raises a lot of questions. Here, Carolyn rather harshly reminds Villanelle that without her slayer abilities, no one is interested in her anymore. Once again Villanelle is seen as a tool and not as an person. Oksana has no value. I was still a little sad for Dasha. Already because I loved this character. But also because she ends up alone and I don't wish that on anyone. The ball scene... so many emotions in this moment. I understand what overwhelms you. After all, it's the first real meeting between Eve and Villanelle on this season (apart from the bus, which looks more like a collision lol). It's also the first time they've talked, like, really. Without trying to tear each other apart. There is a moment of peace. They are both exhausted by what they have been through without each other. They don't have the strength or the desire to confront each other. Villanelle is fragile in this scene. She reveals her flaws, drops the mask, expresses her desires. At first Eve keeps her bite but she quickly realizes that her acerbic remarks do not take and she gives her this worried look, this real concern then says "what's happened" before being interrupted by the man. I love how you can't wait to see them dance and when I realized it was going to happen, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was like watching a staged fanfic xD so enjoyable. I think Eve decides to do this because she sees Villanelle's condition and genuinely wants to appease her. And you'll notice that Villanelle hates dancing, yet she follows Eve. That says a lot about their relationship. This whole passage is very sweet and romantic. It is Eve who leads, Eve who has the "man's position" (if i can say that) and Villanelle who lets herself be done. I find that very interesting. There is a reversal of power and it will be very important for the future. And yes, YES, Eve says "we", she projects herself into the future with Villanelle in her life, one way or another, even if she is convinced that it will be destructive (surely rightly if you want my opinion lol). There is a real tenderness in this moment, their gestures, expressions... everything is calm, peaceful, accepted. But Rhian arrives and everything shatters. Yet here again what is happening is very interesting. Because I love Villanelle's reaction. Her attitude changes completely, she puts herself back in the role of the leader. She straightens up, literally covers Eve and stands between her and Rhian to protect her. I especially like the "go Eve, go", how she watches Eve leave until the last moment in order to be sure that she is safe. That too I think will be important for their future dynamics. Rhian's murder shows that Villanelle should never be underestimated. But the murder is messy. Vil is clearly doing this out of spite, to protect herself and no longer for pleasure. She apologizes and forces herself. Villanelle no longer wants to kill, except in cases of force majeure. Shut up Geraldine. It's useless this woman xD but I still love Carolyn's phlegm so much and that's what makes these scenes fun. Eve who collects the Russian dolls. Aaah very good scene too. Eve gains confidence, she no longer wants to bother with politeness, she goes for it. I love this Eve too. But yes she is so bad at corruption xD *Sigh* Did Konstantin kill Kenny...the revelation leaves Carolyn confused and very angry. Especially since in her own way, I think she sincerely cared about Konstantin. The betrayal is all the more bitter... Eve with Konstantin, it always promises funny situations xD I also like to see them both. Especially since they support each other more than they appreciate each other. The little yellow Riding Hood lol that's always what Villanelle reminds me of, except that in this story she would rather be the wolf. In any case, I laughed a lot at the fascinated and fearful reactions of the Bitter Pill guys. This scene is hilarious. Villanelle's nonchalance in the face of their frightened fascination, a delight. The phone call adds a delicious and unexpected complicity between Villanelle and Eve. I love this passage. Everyone then finds themselves at Paul's in a closed session with a Carolyn who is thirsty for revenge and explanations. Once again, Carolyn is not surprised by the association of our two protagonists and I find it so funny. Eve and Villanelle, side by side, wondering what's going on. This way of Carolyn losing patience, sending them to sit down and then scolding them like children xD very funny. Villanelle's expressions make my world. The two actresses recently talked about this moment in an interview and it's hilarious (the chemistry is really visible in the interviews, it's a treat). Is Paul lying when he says he doesn't know Hélène? We don't know, but the organization is very scattered and Paul is just a small cog. The explanation for Kenny's death seems unreliable to me (remember the cake. Eve doesn't fall, the ledge of the roof is very important). So...to me it's a lie. But I don't understand if he's lying to protect himself or someone else. It's also unknown if Vil' knows about it, but she seems to be to some extent ("tell her"). For me, Konstantin wouldn't have gotten his hands dirty. I'm waiting for season 4 to have this answer. Carolyn kills Paul, Villanelle ultimately chooses not to follow Konstantin ("you're not family" an echo of Konstantin's response in the final episode of Season 2). Vil' seems to choose Eve. And Eve gets mad at Carolyn. Eve wants answers, wants to continue the search, to continue the revenge but Carolyn is tired...and thinks it will never end. "Cold turkey"...Eve refuses and runs away, followed closely by Villanelle under the impulse of Carolyn (maybe it will be Carolyn who will push them to realize their feelings in the next season :D) And here is the famous Tower Bridge scene that caused so much ink to flow. Yes you are right, they have a real discussion. They say things without veiling their face and it feels so good. As with dance, there is a form of assessment, of acceptance of the situation. A balance. A comfort of being together. Eve confesses to seeing Villanelle in her future. Admit that this situation (killing Dasha) seems romantic to them (and her). Admit to having a monster and let it manifest next to Villanelle. As for Vil', she tries to be reassured. Accepted. "Do you think I'm a Monster?" "You're so many things". "Did I ruin your life?". There is a real challenge. And Eve does not reject it. She accepts. But now, Eve makes a request "help me make it stop". What is Villanelle thinking at the time? Why does she make this choice to free Eve? Looking back, I think she's sincerely trying to give Eve what she's asking for. She offers her to leave, to choose and stop everything. To stop this game but is it still possible? Unlike season 2, Villanelle no longer seeks to hold Eve, to possess her. And that's the change. She may have finally understood what it is to love someone. Sometimes it means letting someone go. Not for her own good but for that of the other. But I also believe that Vil' does this for her. Because she wants to prove something to herself. Nonetheless, Eve clearly isn't expecting this turnaround (and neither are we lol). She does what is asked of her, up to a point and ends up turning around, her eyes both sad and expectant. Vil', after hesitation, also ends up turning around and smiling. What now?... We will know very soon! :) So, what do you think will happen next? :)
Anyway, thank you for all these videos. This will have allowed me to review all the seasons and rethink everything before the broadcast of the final season. Inevitably, I was tempted to watch several interviews, I saw photos, the trailer, I navigated through the spoilers doing my best not to know too much. And since you don't want to know anything, I won't say anything. :) But I think this season will still be very different from the previous ones. I hope that we will be entitled to a form of realization of all this accumulated tension, and answers to all these questions left hanging. I can't wait to dissect all this :) See you soon ;)
So I managed to see the first two today (English subtitled so I must have missed some stuff) and I have so many things running through my mind xD Impatient to see your future vid!
20:20 in Eve runs towards the bridge with her bag ! Do you see her bag in final scene ? No so what Eve threw it over the bridge ? Seriously the plot holes in this episode
That's not a plothole. That's just a continuity error. It had nothing to do with the plot. None of the plot hinges on that bag. Therefore, it is not a plothole.
It had some of the best moments of the show. It's just that the bad moments were really bad. 🤣 But no, it really wasn't all bad or that bad. There was just plenty to complain about compared to the first season and even second.
First thing LOL you cried I roared I knew it even before watching your reaction 😅 I think I read somewhere the kenny stuff isn't over with. When I first watched the bridge scene As all of us watching we were shouting turn around lol. I then rewatch overtime as recently just like what you said here about there relationship? I see it as progress for them like from were we began in S1 to now etc With this happy ever after ? Can they? who knows I love what sandra said 👏 She said not spoiler they know it might or might not happen, but they always seek or come to be in each others orbit Like the bridge scene is the first time they had a proper calm conversation were they realise they can only trust each other as in S1 there were like 2 sparks who can't barely be in the same room together, it's just 2 much energy and as the show progresses there able to be in each others orbit a little more. Hopefully next season they will conclude it for all of us both girls said there relationship is very complex, it's definitely not a typical whatever with these ladies lol. And yes there was a green scene because like me people saw other people posted videos and spoilers for S3 everyone thought it was for 3x8 it was actually 3x7 the train they actually filmed on the bridge without the girls And they filmed there scenes in a green room because they knew people had spoilers they didn't want that scene to be seen and given away:) ( I loved there bridge scene, was beautifully shot and the pain in ther faces walking was so well done) With K ? lots of people don't believe him about kenny lol Cool of you do the live as for me it's a late night Sunday for me lol Glad you had tissues this time xD I am glad you not watching the trailer as it kinda gives some spoilers in my opinion anyway Urh can't wait and we are all dying to find out will there relationship go much more next season enjoy yout weekend Been great seeing you on the eve and villanelle train ❤🥂👍
The Kenny stuff better not be over. I swear. I will snap. It'll be the last straw lol. Ya I totally agree and get that their relationship is complex and not a normal one. I just LOVE them together so damn much, I want Villanelle to get everything she wants and to be loved and cared for so desperately, and I'm such a hopeless romantic that watching Villanelle believe Eve is better off without her DESTROYED me. That whole conversation and scene was so good. I've watched it several times since this first time and I've bawled like a baby every single time. Gahhhhh I can't wait to find out what happens!

@@KelseasComments I agree with you and I also think Villanelle is one of the best characters of all time but I watched some interviews with Jodie and Sandra and I'm not expecting a happy ending.
Disappointing ending. Actually pretty much the whole finale episode. But especially the last 30 minutes. Of course Constantine didn’t kill Kenny. And why did Eve and Villanelle suddenly end up in the same room towards the end with Carolyn?!??? And JUST FREAKIN’ SAT THERE?!!?? Like idiots!!!!! Wow. Was that supposed to be funny?!! Or exciting?!!! Oh the fans want them together, just put them in the same room, they’ll be happy, who cares!!!!!!! That is just LAZY WRITING. Lazy LAZY WRITING. And I never got the feeling in the entire series that Carolyn gave a damn about Kenny, one way or another. Her character has always been ICE COLD 🧊 and impossible to figure out. I feel like the writers painted themselves into a corner with Carolyn and didn’t know how to fix it. This season was just very very strange and lost much of the humor and darkness of the first season, or even the 2nd season. They change writers every season, and it seems like they’re going with the lead writer of season 3 for the season 4 as well. Why on earth 🌎 would you do that?!! The best scenes of KE are usually when villanelle & Eve are together, and Jodie’s acting here is great but man, WHAT A MESS this 3rd season has been. Villanelle’s trip home 🏡 was also a mess, and just out of left field. Honestly I expected it to be much darker. But it was just LAZY. That’s the one word to describe this season: lazy. After seeing such aN excellent and smartly written series like “CHERNOBYL,” KILLING EVE has lost its edge. Shame. No wonder the next one is the last season. Damn. I guess everything ends badly, otherwise it wouldn’t end. Look at Game of Thrones.
If Konstantin killed Kenny, it was on Paul's orders. We probably won't ever know unless Bear suddenly remembers he had a camera on the roof. In Paul's living room, it's hard to see what V&E would have done, assuming V was unarmed. V did restrain Eve when Eve started to move, which is V protecting E, keeping Eve from turning a tense situation chaotic. I agree that the writing was not one of the strengths of season 3. As a counterexample, I'll point out that The Expanse was an excellent series with an excellent, though rushed, final season.
Ya I had to edit out a LOT of my ranting at the beginning of the video about episode 7 because I laid it on pretty thick. LOL. I just feel like there's a lot to complain about this season. There were some really good moments, but like you said, a LOT of lazy writing that got really tiring. I really really hope they don't make Konstantin the one who killed Kenny. But I would honestly take that over them making him just accidentally walk backwards off the building?? That is the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Kenny deserves better than that. I mean I think that was just his story, but you never know with this season's writers. lol. This season was DEFINITELY a bit strange... I'm not really a fan of when shows switch up writers like that. At least when it's noticeable. It's really frustrating. Ya the show is SO GOOD when Villanelle and Eve are together. They are what make the show so good. And it doesn't ONLY have to be the yearning bullshit. They are GOLD when they're actually together. I don't know why they don't let the show be good. LOL. It really is a shame how many endings of amazing shows are huge let downs. I will never, EVER get over how absolutely atrocious the ending of GoT was. That was a crime and people should have been punished. I think one of the only endings I can think of that felt like it lived up to the show was Breaking Bad. It wasn't a happy ending, but it did feel like the ending the show needed and deserved. I didn't feel betrayed or let down after that one. That's the only one I can think of honestly LOL. As far as tv series.
@@KelseasComments I felt like they just ran out of budget towards the end of season 3 for KE, so they just put everyone in the same room and “talk it out.” And yes, that was a Green screen behind villanelle & Eve on the bridge. It was a set. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

The bridge scene reminds me SO much of the greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice,,, it makes more and more sense the deeper you look into it :))
That doesn't sound familiar!! I'll have to look it up!
🤣 I CACKLED at the "it's been 84 years" 🙌
Ugh I agree!
@@KelseasComments 🤣 So many time, so many time without them, I need them.
Tell Me is the song by Johnny Jewel and sung by Saoirse Ronan
I had no clue Saoirse sang 😳🤯🤯🤯
2:04 in we have a specific Easter Egg for S4 where Carolyn says " I can't see that working out for MI6, can you?" In S4 Villianelle and Carolyn team up together but Carolyn is NO longer MI6 !
now compare this finale to the one we got in season 4... so mad about it tbh 😭
Same 😭😭😭 the writing was still getting really bad and sloppy here but at least they stayed true to VillanEve!
@@KelseasComments Here it is: th-cam.com/video/kFYUUkkRCyk/w-d-xo.html
I think the bridge would have been hard to film on site: the traffic is noisy and actually presents danger (wait, is that Jodie!!?!?), plus much of the scene would be shot with the camera over the water, so that would be a challenge.
@@martensjd oh ya you're right, they did for the spice shop,I forgot!
@@KelseasComments Haha could you imagine the chaos of them actually filming on the Tower bridge?
Ya that's what I'm saying!!
But ya, it would be hard to stay mad at Konstantin.

Last episode Kelsea ... say something when Eve was on the phone to V at the train station 4:37 into this final "Shut Up Eve!"
🤣 she needs to learn when to speak and when to just think inside her head. 😂😂😂
Right? And I feel like both characters would have realistically thought to do so. So I partly just blame the writers. Like come the fuck on.
you're gonna love eve in season 4 👀
UGH I HOPE SO.

@@aidan-mrtl 🤣🤣🤣🤣
VITAL FOOTAGE!"
I am flabbergasted that they got the season 3 writers for season 4.
I can't comment on it right away but I'll try to do it before Sunday evening (knowing that for me it's already Saturday afternoon) lol
Just to tell you that I loved seeing your reactions and imagine that the rest of us had to wait 2 long years since that last episode... horrible wait.
For my part, France will not broadcast before Monday and on a platform to which I do not have access. But I hope to have seen episode 1 by the middle of the week. I will come back then ;)
Breathe, console yourself, the next season promises to be intense :)
Can't wait for your wonderful comment! and yes, 2 years wait after this??? no thanks. Sounds awful. LOL.
Yes all of those parts were SO GOOD!!! and you're right, there's a lot I'm mad about in the new episode LOL.

Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰
But yes she is so bad at corruption xD
*Sigh* Did Konstantin kill Kenny...the revelation leaves Carolyn confused and very angry.
"Cold turkey"...Eve refuses and runs away, followed closely by Villanelle under the impulse of Carolyn (maybe it will be Carolyn who will push them to realize their feelings in the next season :D)
And here is the famous Tower Bridge scene that caused so much ink to flow.
So, what do you think will happen next?
But I think this season will still be very different from the previous ones.
The writing in general is pretty ridiculous LOL.
wow, you’re just absolutely no fun at all smh
That's not a plothole. That's just a continuity error. It had nothing to do with the plot. None of the plot hinges on that bag. Therefore, it is not a plothole.
Not the best season but I don’t think it was that terrible
It had some of the best moments of the show. It's just that the bad moments were really bad. 🤣 But no, it really wasn't all bad or that bad. There was just plenty to complain about compared to the first season and even second.
You caught up just in time for season 4 lol
@@AngelFlores-uo5kv lol yay!!! I'm excited to experience it with everyone. For better or worse. 🤣😂😂😂
So this was followed by season 4. Crap. A huge lost opportunity.
Ya it was bad.. 😩
First thing LOL you cried I roared I knew it even before watching your reaction 😅
I think I read somewhere the kenny stuff isn't over with.
When I first watched the bridge scene As all of us watching we were shouting turn around lol. I then rewatch overtime as recently just like what you said here about there relationship?
I see it as progress for them like from were we began in S1 to now etc
With this happy ever after ? Can they? who knows I love what sandra said 👏
She said not spoiler they know it might or might not happen, but they always seek or come to be in each others orbit
Like the bridge scene is the first time they had a proper calm conversation were they realise they can only trust each other as in S1 there were like 2 sparks who can't barely be in the same room together, it's just 2 much energy and as the show progresses there able to be in each others orbit a little more.
Hopefully next season they will conclude it for all of us both girls said there relationship is very complex, it's definitely not a typical whatever with these ladies lol.
And yes there was a green scene because like me people saw other people posted videos and spoilers for S3 everyone thought it was for 3x8 it was actually 3x7 the train they actually filmed on the bridge without the girls
And they filmed there scenes in a green room because they knew people had spoilers they didn't want that scene to be seen and given away:)
( I loved there bridge scene, was beautifully shot and the pain in ther faces walking was so well done)
With K ? lots of people don't believe him about kenny lol
Cool of you do the live as for me it's a late night Sunday for me lol
Glad you had tissues this time xD
I am glad you not watching the trailer as it kinda gives some spoilers in my opinion anyway
Urh can't wait and we are all dying to find out will there relationship go much more next season enjoy yout weekend
Been great seeing you on the eve and villanelle train ❤🥂👍
The Kenny stuff better not be over. I swear. I will snap. It'll be the last straw lol.
Ya I totally agree and get that their relationship is complex and not a normal one. I just LOVE them together so damn much, I want Villanelle to get everything she wants and to be loved and cared for so desperately, and I'm such a hopeless romantic that watching Villanelle believe Eve is better off without her DESTROYED me. That whole conversation and scene was so good. I've watched it several times since this first time and I've bawled like a baby every single time.
Gahhhhh I can't wait to find out what happens!
@@KelseasComments awe ❤

In a cat and mouse story, there is no happy ending because that is not their goal. And Killing Eve never had that romance goal. Great reaction!👏👏👏
Ughhhhhh BUT IT'S MY GOAL. 🤣 HOW DARE THEY MAKE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH VILLANELLE AND THEN NOT GIVE HER ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING SHE EVER WANTED. 😂
@@KelseasComments I agree with you and I also think Villanelle is one of the best characters of all time but I watched some interviews with Jodie and Sandra and I'm not expecting a happy ending.
@@lexagriffin3220 oh no 😭😭😭
Disappointing ending.
That’s the one word to describe this season:
lazy.
After seeing such aN excellent and smartly written series like “CHERNOBYL,” KILLING EVE has lost its edge. Shame. No wonder the next one is the last season.
Damn. I guess everything ends badly, otherwise it wouldn’t end. Look at
Game of Thrones.
I, personally, liked it💀
@@KelseasComments I felt like they just ran out of budget towards the end of season 3 for KE, so they just put everyone in the same room and “talk it out.”
And yes, that was a Green screen behind villanelle & Eve on the bridge. It was a set.
@@thatskyhalo there were definitely parts that I LOVED!! and then parts that made me angry lol. But it wasn't all bad!! It's just that the parts that were bad were really bad LOL. but oh my gosh the parts that were good, were good!!! THEM DANCING. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
