  • If you need to reduce time of Maxwell simulations you need to use symmetry to have a lower number of mesh. In this video we are talking about how to set symmetry in a simulation. A PMSM motor is simulated in complete and sectioned mode. You can write your questions in the comment part.

    When I splited the model to xy plane, why the terminal current excitation get lost?

    • @AliVakilian07
      @AliVakilian07  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it's because the plane is on the side that you cut off. Try to delete the negative part in sectioning. Or just draw the plane again in the part after spliting

    Hi Ali, we do not have similar options for Electrostatics. Can you suggest some alternative ways to work ?

    • @AliVakilian07
      @AliVakilian07  ปีที่แล้ว

      In magnetostatic we do not have ac current and voltage too.we cant measure induced voltage, all currents are dc and no movement or rotation is possible. So you should use "symmetry" boundaries due to your simulation intrinsic.

      @@AliVakilian07 But since my model is a Ball bearing i.e. Non-planar entity, I'm not able to use Symmetry boundary.
      I used 'Split' command to divide it into 1/8th of the model but my capacitance value and mesh statistics are not comparable to the whole model. Ideally, Capacitance should be 1/4 and Mesh should be 1/8 of the whole model.

    Hey, how do u mirror this cylindrical object through a plane...like it is 1/4 of complete object and if I want to add another 1/4 object to make it 1/2 of object....How to do that? Thanks!!1

    • @AliVakilian07
      @AliVakilian07  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can easily duplicate the objects with 90 degree rotation around Z.
      Or you can mirror it with the correct plane

    • @AliVakilian07
      @AliVakilian07  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For example in the picture if you mirror it with ZY plane, then you will have 1/2 shape instead of 1/4

      In this video I had the full model and split it one fourth to use symmetry. I could use the full model from begining and see the full one.
      Do you mean how to get the full model from Rmxprt?

      ?

    • @AliVakilian07
      @AliVakilian07  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@user-rk2ol9sb5o to get the full model from Rmxprt you can do one of these:
      1- change the parameter "fractions in 2d or 3d model to 1
      2- make one unsymmetrical parameter. For example change the number of turns in just one slot, it would not be symmetric and the rmpxt will give you full model

  • @iulian207

    Takes a year to prepare the model and in the end you get many errors.

    • @AliVakilian07
      @AliVakilian07  ปีที่แล้ว

      No no no, it shouldn't be like that!! All the projects take almost less than a week for me and no errors.
      😁😁 They can take less than a week and some payments for you too.😉😉
