      The air that’s 80% nitrogen? The fact their already is an infrastructure to make it that would just need to be upped? We also have a way to hold it unlike the hydrogen vehicles and if I remember right it’s a noble gas so we don’t need to worry about it combining with things while inside the engine.

    If there's an accident it will just evaporate.
    I've worked with liquid nitrogen.. and had frost burns.. if it ruptured you will lose body parts. The venting off the liquid nitrogen could cause people to pass out in confined spaces like garages..

      not only pass out but if the gas is confined and the person opens the door they will pass out instantly.. and now maybe suffocate... it's like "instant carbon monoxide" poisoning

    It sounds possible. I worked in a refinery on these very large screw compressors in a train of three and they were housed and ran in a sealed and insulated room.
    There have been a few fatalities there from nitrogen gas which is used in the process to prevent explosions and fires.
    It's the only thing that worries me about this one. Nitrogen gas is dangerous because you can't see or smell it and it doesn't let you know that it is affecting you.

    You just know the author doesn't know anything about cars or science. 196C is hot. You mean -196C which is extremely cold and difficult to maintain. The nitrogen will become a bomb if it starts to heat up and can't vent. If it vents, you lose your power source. You also most certainly need oil and have to do oil and filter changes. It is still effective and ICE.

    👍This Idea is better than NH3,Which is super toxic when an accident occur!!! I agree on this type of fuel?...well ....Power source to create pressure for driving cylinder!!!🦾 If you set up our earth as your goal🌏. There will be a future for everyone!! May the goodness protect you!!!😇😇
    Ps.If you can even modify it in turbo fan engine type instead of cylinder engine type you may regain power from temperature as well (may be good for producing an electricity ?). As you can see in developing an aircraft era.

      Ps2 It is possible to combine with liquid Oxygen 20% the same as our atmosphere (N2 80% ,O2 20% )there will be no harm at all when the leakage occur in this case. The difference of boiling point 13 celcius maybe not the matter. This maybe the safest gas when leaking!!!

    Sounds like bullshit. What is used in the engine to generate the heat required to make the nitrogen expand rapidly. You would need a very rapid source of heat, supplied continuously, because liquid nitrogen has an extremely rapid cooling effect. So what is used to generate the heat required?

    • @hansjudek8358
      @hansjudek8358 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That source is already there - a heat battery that can store energy at 2500degC. Intake stroke filling the cylinder with hot air, cold N2 injected = full power output. Currently a ship engine is converted to this technology. Source? High temperature CSP with graphene solid heat transfer.

      Our battery for an auto weighs 2 kg and has a capacity of 500,000. Watts. It charges with electricity or conduction, in seconds. Also, it does not deteriorate with time or use. We have designed batteries up to 34 Gigawatts. Perryman Technologies.

    • @user-dh2uy8uh1n
      @user-dh2uy8uh1n 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We do not inject 2,500. C into an engine. Actually the gas expansion lowers nitrogen to a temperature that leaves a cold fog from the exhaust. Any engine in use today can be run on nitrogen by changing the head, which converts the engine to run on compressed nitrogen gas. The result is an engine run with pistons or a turbine.

    way too many issues, especially thermal. Recall it was the cold weather that bricked all of these magical EV toys only last winter. Hot weather will factor heavily into the efficiencies expected, I expect.
    And the energy used to compress the Nitrogen to start with. It may be similar to the energy needed to process crude oil into gasoline: IDK.
    Waiting to see real results before buying, but if it works out for Toyota I'd buy one. I won't be around then, but what the heck.
