- The Kerry Bog Village shows what life was like in Ireland hundreds of years ago, with old thatched cottages and traditional animals like Irish Wolfhounds and Kerry Bog Ponies.
It's situated on the scenic Ring of Kerry about 25 miles from Killarney.

I miss our Irish Wolfhound "Kyle" , he was so gentle with all the kids in the neighborhood !! We all loved him very much !!
I'm a Mayo native but I'd love to go to Kerry. I've heard my Mother tell stories about it when she used to go. (I also have two Irish Wolfhounds. Best breed I've ever owned)

2 years ago ,i found my beautiful irish queen wandering in the streets,she was old ,lost her vision ,and had a tumor.
She lived with us for a year and a half🌟

Most of my Irish ancestors are from Munster.. I love all things Irish.. Promised myself, I'll not have another dog unless it's a wolfhound..
Having been here I can recommend a visit to the Bog Village. So niice to see a turf fire burning, rather smoky. The Kerry Bog Ponies have beautiful manes like a lady with long gorgeous hair. I would loved to buy one of those ponies if I had a suitable field.
Reminds me of my Irish wolfhound Cullen. He loved playing with little dogs and if the bigger dogs got nasty he would soon sort them out.
