@@SwiftDetae each verse of the song is dedicated to iconic Bollywood music from a particular decade, i.e. 50s, 60s, 70s etc.
The first half of the movie is set in the 70s, thus explaining SRK's and everyone's attire (in the theater)
Indeed there are some use of CGI here
Basically they recreated legendary hit songs from the 60s and 70s
Deepika was recreating the actress looks and they used cgi to put the old actor's face
While srk was imaginating himself in the movie
The songs:
1: Historical Period
A recreation of "Tadap Yeh Din Raat Ki" with actor Sunil Dutt
2. Dance Party
A recreation of "Karle Pyar Karle Aankhen Char" - with late actor Rajesh Khanna ( he is akshay Kumar father in law btw)
3. Badminton game
A recreation of "Dhal Gaya Din Ho Sham"
In this one the old actor doesn't appear
4. Dancing for the king
I don't really know the song but the old actor is Jeetendra (he will be appearing in the Deewangi Deewangi song)
oh! so thats why the badminton one seemed so off! it seemed like a random intermission 🤣
and I knew it seems like it was an old setting~ I wonder if the movie is based in that time 🤔 because then it would make sense with the fashion~ BUT in the 2nd half of aankhon mein teri the fasion looks more like 2000''s so that's why im so confused

Without giving away too much,I can only say the movie is divided into 2 time periods one the 70s era and then the modern era
It will all make sense in the movie
