    Now it's a stealth machine. Just add some infrared filters and night-vision goggles. Your work is always so clean and video's enjoyable to watch and learn from. Thanks.

    Huge improvement Martin. I think you already kn ow my opinion of led lights. I sure love my light bar on the L2501. Now to do the same with the RTV 900 Kubota side by side, and the John Deere 2520 tractor. You have me all fired up now.

      Thanks, Gary! Yep, we’re both big fans of LED lights. You’ll be glad you added them to your RTV and JD.

    Very nice work, Martin. I love how meticulous you are with your wiring - nice and clean! We may be getting our Ranger EV later this year! I really like the additional lights you've put on the front and rear. Oh and Liquid Tape? I didn't know that existed! Now I can secure my flappy tape ends, too :) Thanks for sharing, my friend :)

      Thanks, David! I think you’ll love it. My wife and I enjoy riding the trails slowly and quietly. A few days ago we took a night ride on the trails and it was such an adventure! The woods are spooky but beautiful at night. Thanks for watching!

      @@DIYMyWay Just wondering Martin, how long does it take to recharge your UTV?

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typically 4 to 6 hours to take it from 80% (which is the lowest I’ve had it) to 100%. Very often it’s only down to 97% or so after a leisurely drive around the property and trails so it can be topped off in under an hour.

      @@DIYMyWay That's seems pretty decent. Thanks for the response!!!

    Really good stuff Martin...you are a man after my own heart...make it clean, make it tight! You were next-level though leaving the zip ties loose enough to come back and add the wire loom. I'm quite certain I'd have been cutting the first ones I used to add the loom and then "re-zipping"! 😉 Also, an observation: the mounting plate for the switches seemed REALLY flimsy....do you suppose that is just to minimize vibration damage to the switches and charge indicator? BTW...that is the same forward-facing light I used on my LX2610...love it!!!

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, Chris! Ha! I learned that by having to cut zip ties in the past only to replace them. Yes, the switch mounting plate is very flimsy, but probably not for any noble reason. It’s strong enough to support the switches and you don’t notice it when using the switches, but it sure is obvious when you try to get a switch out. Thanks for watching!
