    Is it possible to replace the light bulb in the glove box for a 2013 Camry LE?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the bulb is a halogen, then yes it is possible. However, if it is a factory LED, this bulb would be soldered to a chip and board, and you would not be able to swap it out.

    Would have been a lot more helpful had you shown installation on the driver's side of the car. The passenger side is of course the easy one with a lot more room available to work. Also a close-up demonstration of pushing or squeezing the tab on the power connector would have been very helpful in my opinion. It's not obvious as you make it out to be. Have seen a lot of your videos and the majority of them are very good but for this one small omission about the tab on the power connector this one is another winner thank you.

      Thank you for the interest. We will keep an eye out for an Avalon out here in Los Angeles for an installation video. However, please note, the installation process is very similar for all vehicles. I would recommend having a watch of some of our other DIY videos, and you should gain a general knowledge of how LEDs are installed.

    I know your bulbs are 3200lm/LED, however other premium lights offering 2400lm/LED bulb. On the video and photo those 2400lm look really bright and 3200 should be even brighter. I am afraid that 3200lm are going to be too bright. Would you agree or disagree? Thanks

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely not. If you are concerned about glare projecting into oncoming drivers, there are many factors and many upgrades to headlight housings over the years that help mitigate any glare to oncoming drivers.
      It is more or less the color of the light which causes distraction and not the actual brightness intensity itself. If you notice, the most distracting lights to see on the road are the blue HID/LED lights which cause a lot of glare for the human eye, whereas you probably never noticed the 6000K lights on the road because they are more natural to the human eye. For this reason, we only carry the 6000K color temperature for our headlights.

      No, upgrading your lighting will not void your vehicles warranty, as it is protected by the Magnuson-Moss Act. I have linked some information on this law below for your convenience.

    I installed some LED headlights on my 2015 Camry, but I have an issue where my high beam lights flicker when acting as daytime running lights. I believe it's caused by the decreased voltage being sent to the bulb during DRL use. I purchased anti-flicker decoder modules and wired it up between the power supply and the LED driver, but it just made it worse and caused the light to not work at all. I need some help here cause I just don't know what to do. The lights I got are the Hikari 2023 Future Titanova, and they're flippin awesome when they work right. Did I just choose bad lights?

      Also, originally my car had like regular headlights on the LE model is there something I would have to do to not blind people within the housing?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your interest. Yes, the installation would be virtually identical as shown in the video, as your vehicle would use the same H11 bulb type used.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, our kits are designed for your stock headlamps. There are many factors and many upgrades to headlight housings over the years that help mitigate any glare to oncoming drivers. It is more or less the color of the light which causes distraction and not the actual brightness intensity itself. If you notice, the most distracting lights to see on the road are the blue HID lights which cause a lot of glare for the human eye, whereas you probably never noticed the 6000K or 8000K lights on the road because they are more natural to the human eye.

    what do you do when de headlight use the system of dust covers (headlights in the back have a platic cap like the headlights of a Ford FUSION 2015) ?

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your interest. First, you would have to ensure that there is enough room for the LED to fit into the housing with the dust cover sealed. I would say you would need an additional inch of space vs your halogen bulb into the housing. And if the LED does fit, then you would have to drill a small hole in the dust cover in order to feed the bulb wires through. Lastly, it would be important to seal the hole with tape.

      The legality varies vastly from locale to locale. You would have to check with your local laws and regulations. What is illegal in most places are the color hues, as they could project glare to oncoming drivers. As opposed to the 6000K color temperature, which is right around the color of stock LEDs. This would project a pure white and is more natural to the human eye. This is the reason why we only ship the 6000K color temperature with our headlamp kits.
