The worst thing Scobie did concerning the Dutch version is that he named the woman who translated it and blamed her of mistranslation. That poor woman had to publicly defend herself, telling how many years she’d been a translator without any problems. I felt awful for that poor woman, and I hope she sues him!
Thing is though you cannot no matter how hard you try, translate English names from anything but English , they made no mistake, this was plastic and markles work

I am a professional translator myself and have translated countless texts in French , English and Spanish . There is no way in h e l l a translator would translate something that is NOT IN THE ORIGINAL TEXT especially if it’s a name or surname! 😂 and if there are any issues regarding the context of a certain paragraph / elements within the text then the translator has the duty to contact the author or publisher for further clarification, information or details in order to render the meaning in the closet way possible to the ORIGINAL TEXT ! Scobie is lying through his teeth or is feigning ignorance . The Dutch translator can actually clarify which text they received ( if they received extra footnotes or modifications ) and wether or not the names were in the version they were paid to translate .

She who should not be Named , from allegations re her extensive experience would be Wise to the Ways of the World & accordingly would have known better - unless it suited her Game Plan to marry the Hapless Harry. These long drawn out Hints & Accusations have conveniently culminated in yet another Farce of a *book. Curiously the revelations within said book could only have come from the Toxic Duo - whether directly or using a Go Between - SWSNBN has her fingerprints all over this ridiculous little man’s book. The Same fingerprints that were all over Finding Freedom - SWSNBN in a Court of Law was Outted via emails - suddenly the Toxic Duos defence was they “Forgot” their involvement . Spare hit the shelves first in Spain just in time to cause as much damage as possible. Any involvment with the two EX Royals should be carefully weighed - this OS person deserves the backlash he’s receiving for placing himself in the Firing Line. OS vicious impressions which deliberately attempted to Attack KCIII & C POW & by extension ALL of the Working Members of the RF & cause Harm to the Children is Disgraceful. Due to these Many long years of Attacks - the “Never Explain, Never Complain” mantra is being used to the advantage of every two bit Grifter to make Money from their waning Connections to the RF. Hopefully there are Consequences for the Despicable Actions - Stalking, Damage to Reputation are just two out of a plethora of Provable Instances of Harassment that SWSNBM is using to remain Relevant for Financial Gain.

Journalists don't reveal sources. Does not mean they are lying. If someone gives you evidence or information on the basis of confidentiality, as a journalist you do not reveal that person. That is basic trust for someone who may need to keep their job or identity from being known, and reputable journalism. Not a liar. Protecting the source, otherwise why would anyone tell a journalist information if they thought they would be publicly outted for doing so???

I don’t understand how the same book can be published differently just because it’s in a different language? Now, Omid is a journalist but also a writer and very much aware of author’s rights and publishing terms and conditions. His story doesn’t add Up, much like Meghans

Everything he says came from Meghan, who also has been caught lieing many times
He is lying about the publisher being responsible for a new paragraph being added in the Dutch and Italian versions. Omid sold the english language rights to his publisher - meaning that he reserved his rights to foreign language versions. So Omid and his agents sold the foreign language rights THEMSELVES, and therefore had to have slipped that paragraph themselves into the Dutch and Spanish versions - and they are profiting from it directly. Him blaming his english language rights only publisher for a foreign language "mis-translation" is lunacy.

I think you’re likely wrong about this. I have extensive experience with contracting books, and publishers almost exclusively contract for the rights of the work in any other language. I would think that was especially likely for this book due to how well it will sell
@MsFanpireProductions you are very right, which makes this deal for English language only rights to Omid's publisher so very suspicious. If his publisher had worldwide publishing rights, he could never have gotten away with adding a new paragraph to the Dutch and Italian translations. It was because his publisher only has English language rights that he (his team, literary agent, whoever) was able to send the tampered-with versions to the Dutch and Italian translators.
So he never wrote that Catherine is a "stepford wife," but rather "stepford wife-like." Thank you for clearing that up!

One of the best interviewers I have seen in the British media. He read the book, read the reviews and asked some hard specific questions. Took a journalistic approach instead of a flame thrower's.

Omid has been repeatedly proven a liar. In my opinion he has a greasy, shady sort of air about him. That in combination with his proclivity to play the game of semantics, cause him to be unlikable & considering said history, wholly untrustworthy.
You started off quite well Craig, but then he charmed you. Go have a look at Omids pasts tweets about the royal family and compare them to his answers in this interview and you will see he wasn't genuine.

There are pictures of Omid with Markle's bestie Marcus Anderson (all roads lead back to Marcus) via Soho House. Allegedly, Marcus and Omid were more than casual friends. Omid spent time in California writing his book about the English Monarchy. Why? Who was there to help him or write it herself? Also, allegedly Omid lives in California.

She was leaning away from him the entire interview, and she looked disgusted by him quite frankly. Maybe you should think about why you are putting words in this womans mouth. I wanted to point out that in the Oprah interview, when Meghan stated that conversations and concerns were expressed about her baby’s skin color, she said that was in tandem with finding out Archie wasn’t getting security and not getting the prince title. By the following morning it was all over the news the real explanation for Archie not getting a title until he was the monarch’s grandson, not a great grandson. The security issue was logically explained as well. So, her statement to reveal this racism was wrapped in falsehoods from the beginning. How can one trust any of it?? Plus Harry then said the conversation was way earlier on than Meghan suggested. He didn’t go on and say there were several conversations or match Meghan’s story. Why the discrepancy? With everything else that looks bad. Then later the conversations are downgraded by Harry to “unconscious bias”. Is this another thing they’ve blown up to sound atrocious, like their NYC near catastrophic car chase?
And why did Meghan and Charles only exchange letters having this out AFTER the Oprah interview?? Why didn’t she discuss this thoroughly with him when it occurred?? Furthermore, why specifically after Oprah?? I’m guessing that Charles wrote first.
So he is asking if the royal family are upholding morals and ethics? Where are his morals and ethics? Why doesn’t he provide a straight answer instead of gaslighting?

Omid turned over his NOTES and old manuscripts and the new manuscript to the Publisher. More than likely, he left the names of the supposed Royal racists in the notes or old manuscript. A person going along readying this would not have just pulled two names from the sky. So, he can TRY to blame the publisher, but, if it was in any of the materials he turned in, then it falls back on him. Since it falls back on HIM, he then has to reveal his sources: did he sneak into Meghans home and find the letters he claims he read and steal the material? Or did Meghan tell him about it? Either way, there goes Meghan as a co-conspirator. Since he quotes Harrys purported conversations, then that gives up Harry as a co-conspirator. I would love to see the Palace sue H&M, Scobie and the Publisher...Sophie, Catherine, William, Charles and Camilla and possibly even Anne as her family was called racists and all have just cause to do a lawsuit. Sometimes emptying the pocket books of people smacks a little sense in them.

If a person was found to have asked a question that fell into a category of unconscious bias, why is there an issue ? Life is a learning curve. Why can people not learn from an error made. From what I understand, whomever made an error has learnt and now has knowledge and experience in what prompted their curiosities and why its a sensitive topic to hear a query about with the recipient's parents.
An error was made, and it's not a reason to go nuclear.

We are all fallible and capable of learning - getting upset for wrong reasons and never having forgiveness following dialogue is always going to remain a misunderstanding that is never remedied.
Who says it was an error? what if what was said was nothing more than "thank God your kids have a chance at not being freckly, soulless gingers with gapped teeth and beady little eyes" ? Speculating on what future children will look like is perfectly normal and literally EVERYONE does it.
According to Henry the conversation took place in the beginning to him dating his now wife (the Oprah interview) he was not even engaged to her so there was NO baby 🙄

They have not leaned from their mistake. If you make an unconscious bias comment out of curiosity that sounds racist, rectify and learn from it, then this issue isn’t as big. But the person who made the comment does not agree of the with how The Duchess of Sussex felt about it. So, that person did not learn from their mistake. The person isn’t a racist but they’re ignorant and don’t want understand the big issue despite their position.

The interview started out with great questions, but then the interviewer backed off because he couldn't counter react to Omid's canned responses. Let's get Pierce Morgan to interview Omid about the inaccuracies' that was printed about him in Omid's book. Why did Omid write a book that is based on rumors?
