    • @TrentonHeath

Thanks for the cool video, guys. I actually enjoy your commentary, but this was a fun departure from the norm. It was oddly soothing to wake up to. Newbies to your channel may benefit from an explanation of what you’re doing and why, but folks who watch all of your videos can track with what’s going on. They can just sit back and watch the magic unfold! 😊 Nice job, as always.

This is the first video I've ever seen about shoe cobbling (I got here thanks to it being labelled as unintentional ASMR), so every step made me very curious to find it's purpose. I can definitely tell you I'll be checking out a lot more of this channel.

I also enjoyed the video w/out the commentary for a change of pace. I don't mind either of your commentary and hearing Payton talk :). There's just something relaxing about watching craftsmen work with their hands. I restore old automotive parts. It's very satisfying making something old, broken and terrible looking into a like new, functioning part that's put back in service. There's a tremendous amount of popular channels on TH-cam where people restore old things back to like new. In this throw away society, it's great seeing people restore quality things that still have ton's of life in them.
Keep up the great video's guys.

There is something so satisfying about a cobbler's job. I guess it has to do with working with your hands and repairing something bringing it back to life in the process. Similar to working on cars and hearing the engine starting for the first time. There is a great feeling of accomplishment and overall satisfaction. Great work guys!!! Thanks for the great video of the Dalton boot full sole and heel restoration. I helped my father in his shop back in the 1970s. I was only allowed to take shoes and boots apart and to shine and polish them after my father worked his magic. While watching this video I could hear and smell his shop. My dad had the same machines and hand tools. I guess you have some equipment that might be 50 years old or so. It is a joy to watch true craftsman at work. Thanks again.

Your videos always make me envious of the quality and longevity of men's shoes. It is as if all women who are not mountain climbers have useless feet that do not need protection or a bit of coddling. Sigh.

One of my favorite cooking channels on TH-cam has a version of each video with music, and one version without that is now specifically labeled "asmr" that is just the cooking sounds only. I truly enjoy your videos where you talk through the entire process of what is being done and why, and I also really loved this one too for everything asmr that you mentioned in the description. Great job, I love your work both with and without commentary!

I love watching your video. You have done it again as usual. Quality repair, quality craftsmanship, and upgrade. JR leather sole, triumph toe plate, with combination leather rubber heel top with brass nails. Better than Allen Edmonds recrafting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Job well done 👍

Is the liquid you’re pouring onto the sole just water or a special solution? If so, what do you need to wet the sole materials for?

That's acetone, a solvent. It is used to cause the glue or cement to release the outsole being removed.

Came for the ASMR -- stayed glued to the screen with endless fascination, marveling at a gifted craftsman & cobbler showing us how it's done. Seriously, that was a great demo. Now I seriously wanna order a pair because clearly, your wares ain't cheap quality goods. If I'm coming across as unusually enthusiastic about boots, don't mind me, LOL.
