Shows how much the Minister actually knows about the military. Calls QAMR a Division (5 to 6 thousand personnel) when it's a unit of several hundred on a good day

Shows how much you know when a division in most militaries is going to be 10,000-20,000. The 2nd NZ Infantry Div in WW2 was 28,000 when it shipped home from Italy.

NZDF has committed to providing a motorised battle group to an Aussie brigade under plan ANZAC. We have a surplus of PMVs over here in Australia, so I’d guess that it’s the amount to potentially deploy a battle group sized element, with any shortfalls in your numbers being made up by us giving you guys a few PMVs. Say you need 3 PMVs for a platoon then for a battalion you’d need roughly 30-40 for a battlegroup, depending on how you guys structure your infantry battalions.
