    _"That is the nerdiest thing that has ever been said on this show."_
    I just wanna remind everyone of the time that Matt Mercer, 2 months prior to this, proceeded to absolutely rip all the flaws from that D&D comic, including some that Brennan Lee Mulligan, the creator of that particular challenge, did not realise were there, earning more points than anyone thought possible.
    God that was such a fucking rad moment.
    For reference, it's the _'Jump Man, Folklore, Hounds of Tindalos'_ episode.

      So here's the thing about that. There was at least one more error than was picked out which I will have to rewatch to find, but it always bothered me that no one brings it up because it's super basic. I can't remember which panel, but at one point someone either takes two actions in a turn without haste, or casts two non-cantrip spells without quicken spell metamagic.
      Edit: upon reviewing the episode, it's the pit fiend, it can either cast hold monster or use its multi-attack in a turn, not both. In addition, he was recalling the 3.5E stat block for pit fiends that are immune to non-magical attacks. 5E pit fiends are fully affected by silvered weapons and only resistant, not immune, to non-magical attacks

      Um actually,he earned 1 point as everyone does with every question. Not multiple points. All questions including shiny questions only reward 1 point as said in that particular episode that even though he masterfully nailed it,he only got a single point just like the star wars prequel guess answer Murph had earlier in said episode (which they did say specifically in the same exact episode)

    Um actually...while Tim Curry originated the role of and heavily influenced the evolution of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, creation of the character must be attributed to Richard O'Brien, the sole writer of The Rocky Horror Show.

    • @carawood9715
      @carawood9715 3 ปีที่แล้ว +46

      Yeah it’s a common thing in theatre for the first person to play a role to be said to have “created” that role because they’re the first to personify and inspire the interpretations that come later. It’s not really meant to detract credit from the writer(s) it’s just one of those silly theatre things.
      But I can totally understand wanting O’Brien to get all the credit he so rightfully deserves!

      I'm not a theater guy but I have heard that term a few times for first actor to play the role on stage. As I understand it just a theater specific term of art you have to read differently than the usual TV show creator or general creator role.

I was going to see Cats with my father, sister and best friend (I had been waiting 10 years for a tour to pass by Québec), Fiddler (was cancelled and refunded) and the tour revival of Notre-Dame de Paris (with my grandmother, who had seen the original tour with Garou in the year of my birth, 1998)
      We don't get a lot of tours in Québec, but that year I was supposed to see a couple + some ballet and opera shows that I wanted to see. So I am also pretty upset. It is killing the arts, down here. Quebec... we lost so many people who were working behind the scenes and on stage because of the pandemic. I am heartbroken and very bitter about how relieved I felt for opting for a communications degree rather than continuing higher education in theatre.

      Little Sally also has a line where she says
      “Urinetown is your town if you’re hopeless, down and out.” Which means that Urinetown can’t be a place, because it’d be everywhere. It’s merely a state of being.
