I moved here 8 months ago and I have to say I really like it here in Freehold im near Moore's Tavern and I live on Stillwell's corner rd it's very nice plus I have a fire station nearby Walgreens CVS and stop & shop. Not to mention other little shopping centers that are nearby. Stillwell's Corner Rd is busy during the day but at night the traffic slows down and becomes mostly very quiet.

Hi Melissa
I do have one question, who do I call for dead tree removal in front of my house on Stillwell Corner Rd? The old owners said that the tree is the responsibility of the township to cut it down because its a part of the trees that line the street. They said I don't have to pay to have it cut down which is great. Is there any links or phone numbers I can call to have someone come and cut it down? Thank You Brandon

Freehold Borough was primarily white and black, very few Asian or Latino. There was a Puerto Rican population in the 1960's that lived on South Street. I guess being now primary Hispanic or Latino, it has a different vibe. Although the American Hotel and Federici's are mainstays. Glad to hear the old Firehouse is going to be a Springsteen museum. The old Firehouse was right next to the local bus station and also there was a little train that left from there to take kids to Trenton to a Catholic School in the 1960's. I also lived in West Freehold for a couple of years out pass Moore's Tavern.
