One of the things i love Tim is when someone is genuinely passionate about something you can really tell and it certainly shines through in ALL your videos, nothing fake or put on here.... magnificent!
How simple it is to live in the bush. Simple cooking ,simple life ,amazing.. I miss it so much after the virus i will be home .. thanks mate ,keep the videos coming .
G'day Kevin, Thats it mate. It can be a simple as you want. I do like the simple life and setup for cooking. But still a simple set up can make amazing meals on the campfire. Cheers Tim.
Welcome to Tim Bates Cooking Adventures. Watch Tim cook up a storm (sometimes literally) using only a campfire, frypan, camp oven and billy. Oh and look out for his trusty Brickie's trowel/spatula. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner Tim Bates has it covered in the best kitchens in the high country. Forget those pretend "reality" cooking shows, this is the only cooking show you need to watch. From mountain tops to the riverbanks Tim Bates Cooking Adventures will have your mouth watering.
G'day mate, Thats wicked feedback. I greatly appreciate it. Some simple cooking items and you can make some amazing meals. A few more campfire cooking videos coming up. Thanks again mate. Cheers Tim.

G’day Tim,I’m a bit slow catching up with the videos, but here I am.I noticed several essential ingredients,High Country, cast iron on the fire, and now it doesn’t matter what you’ve got going,it’s going to be great.Always eggs in my pantry draw when I go away, more often than not,it will be a scrambled omelette, just to be different than everyone else 🙂
G'day Wayne, Thats cool mate. Welcome back. Yeah spot on about high country and cast iron making a great cook up. Lol Im going to make an omelette in one of my campfire cooking videos. They are really nice. Thanks for your reply mate. Cheers Tim.
Kaz makes them similar but as Im a cheese nut she melts some into them while they cook. Awesome. I guess we won't see you now the borders a re closed again. Cheers Steve
G'day mate, Melted cheese into the mix would go down really well. No, it's not looking great at all for you guys coming down here. Stay safe and hope you can get down when things get better. Cheers Tim.
Great stuff Timbo. Keeping it simple. What a great breakfast. I think the location must make it taste even better. I’m with you, you can never have too much butter!
Batesy please stop dropping these videos before dinner! It makes me so hungry & a little jealous haha. Awesome video as usual mate & another cracking feed!
G'day Anthony, Thanks mate for dropping in from the UK. Scrambled eggs are great for breakfast on a cold morning, thats for sure. I hope things warm up for you soon. Cheers Tim.
You like your scrambled eggs the Pommie way Tim, well cooked mate, reminds me of boarding school lol. I prefer mine done the Frog way, 3 eggs and half a cup of whole cooking cream mixed up with white pepper, pre heat your skillet until searing hot and bring her off the coals. Add your mix and wait for the base to set. Push the egg into the middle creating soft rippled curds and never return to the heat. Add salt to taste and serve on toast. Half a look at Jamie Oliver's three scrambled eggs to get my drift. The handbrake prefers it your way lol. Nice one mate.
G'day mate, Yeah i do like my scrambled eggs pretty well done. I must try making them with cream. That sounds like a really nice addition over using milk. I greatly appreciate your feedback mate. Cheers Tim.
G'day Louis, Yeah mate the high country is an amazing place. Campfires over here are no worries as long as it's not a total fire ban day. We don't quite get the hot temps during summer that you would over in WA. Thanks mate for your reply. Cheers Tim.
Gday mate. Calling from across the ditch. Yep I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow. With a mug of tea. I'll be throwing some garlic flakes into the mix too. Sorted. Cheers mate. Great episode. Take care.
Hi Tim, Another great video once again. Is there any chance of creating a giant playlist of all your videos together in one list. Random order is perfectly okay. I have been using them as podcasts to listen to, when I go out walking with the dog. Thankyou in advance Regards Alex

G'day mate, I do like garlic in pretty everything. Will give it a go next time in my scrambled eggs. Mate, that cast iron pan is over 15 years old and well beyond worrying about scratches. Nothing sticks in it, so all good on that one. Cheers Tim
