This is partly for KYLE! DONT GIVE UP LOOKING FOR MISS RIGHT ! I WAS MARRIED OVER 18 YEARS TO A C 5. QUAD WHO I knew For 34 years and helped care for 25 years. I adored him . He was the sweetest man I've ever known and we had a blast together. He just passed after being in the chair for 40 years. I dont remember when we decided for him to have an ostomy bag. ....but we decided together as his enemas took way too long and if we had a nurse help they wouldn't stay longer then 2hrs. My hubbie took about 4.....6 hrs to get ready for his day so having the ostomy Freed us up by 2 ...3 hrs to leave.......either for work or to go have a fun day. Yes, there will always be accidents and increased care as you age but when you've found " the one" it's all so worth it. B. T. W. my hubbie had been a woodshop teacher....injured around age. 35. We met when we were 38 and I had been married before . Anthony was the love of my life. "Disabilities" never get in the way of true love!!! Love you Squirmy and Grubs. My Anthony. wrote his story too but publishers (only tried one) felt it too risque. Lolol
As someone with Spina Bifida, the most embarrassing aspect, especially in terms of dating, is by far the lack of bowel and bladder control. I've actually had more than one woman state that reason specifically for why they couldn't see themselves dating me. For that reason I just want to say thank you for posting this as it was oddly reassuring that there are women out there who can look past even the most embarrassing and difficult aspects of a disability and still love the person inside the body.
Idk but judging by the way you phrased the question it sound rhetorical with a rude answer attached to it. So please don't even bother responding if that's the case.
There are plenty of women who don't care about poop! Most of us had kids pooping all over us, the bed, the house. I know, kids and men are not the same.... men's poop is often less smelly 😂😜😜😜😜 Also here we have bidet so cleaning is way easier 😉
chris Barnett I feel bad for you for thinking that. Sorry women have treated you so badly that you’ve become cynical about relationships. It does happen. There are good women out there
So funny, that is how I fell in love with my husband. We hadn't been dating very long, and I got a terrible stomach flu. For 3 days I threw up and had diarrhea. He had to clean me up for 3 days. That is how I fell in love with him. I was sure he would leave me, after that mess. Lol nope we got married, had 2 beautiful girls, we dated 4 years, and married 17 years. He passed away in October 2018. Thank you for the beautiful memory.
recipe mama ☹️ what happened to cause his death, if you do not mind me asking? Your story was so sweet, then I read the sad ending. I am so sorry you lost him, but I am glad you had him.
He woke up not feeling well, took him to the hospital, they sent him home 3 times, the 4 th time (within two day period). They finally admitted him, but it was to late. He passed away, with Mersa in his blood stream.
My heart....I cried. I dont have a disability and I haven't dated in over 12 years cause I'm kinda of a weird guy and a lot of girls just dont want to be with me, but this video gives me hope. Hannah is gold. You are the luckiest man alive.
I’m here after watching some of your recent videos, one thing I noticed that is very moving and beautiful was that the way Hannah looks at Shane hasn’t changed a bit, and it’s this amazing, absorbed look full of love. That’s the way I want to be looked at one day.
Just found your guys channel 1-2 days ago. And I have to say, of my many man many years on TH-cam, you're one of the only "vlog" channels I genuinely enjoy and want to follow your guys life. Both of you have incredible personalities and humor. Along with incredible stories as well. Keep it up
Same! A lot of people’s lives...you had to be there, but these two are like the funniest couple in you friend circle and you just want to stay at their house for one more story.
My man is amazing, I have an ileostomy and one morning he wakes me up and looks at his shorts and says to me "baby, I think you 💩 on me" laughing. And when I first got it he was helping me change it amd if you know anything about ileostomies amd crohns you know that it projectile poops amd is very watery and he was jumping back and side to miss the poop sprays while he laughed. I was mortified but he made me feel so much better. And he pulled off my bag in a moment of passion and agian all he did was laugh. Every bag change he asks if I need help. He has been my Hannah. I love these two and they have helped me feel so much better about my husband being my caregiver.
I have crohn's and an ileostomy too! At the end of this video where they start apologizing for the poop talk, I was reminded that some people are still sensitive to the topic. LOL
Ok, I teared up reading your comment bc I too have Crohn's, and a ileostomy. But I don't have a partner or anything like that. One of the reasons why I'm not with anyone is bc of this bag. This poop bag that saved my life! I shouldn't be ashamed of embarrassed by it, but I am, and I'm working on not feeling like that. I just wanted to say thank you for posting this though. It gives me hope that I can find someone like your husband. 🤗
@@AuthenticallyNita look up what a stoma or ileostomy looks like. It's part of the intestine, so it sticks out a bit. People with ileostomies can't form solid stool, it's pretty much always very soft. So whenever the bag is off, sometimes the poo will shoot right out, especially if there's gas going along with it. Think of it as whenever you have raging diarrhea, and it just comes blowing out of you. It doesn't happen all the time, but it definitely has happened to me. Sorry if my comment was way too TMI.
I saw your comment before I heard the book, and you aren’t lying! It’s amazing how humble he is... I coulda sworn he was just like any guy I know. I mean I can write academically, though I don’t talk that way at home, but I’ve never said anything that beautiful!
My man is paraplegic since '82. We've been together since '83. We were just long time friends before. He injured self transferring to wheel chair in late 2010. Had several surgeries in 2011 so is no longer independent. I'm retired n 67 he is 74. I've been his full time caregiver since his accident. You both make me laugh n cry, can't help that because I know how it is. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary life n love. It is unusual n I just don't personally know others like us. Stay well n know your lives touch others deeply.
I swear my two favorite parts of your videos are: when Hanna looks at Shane, she adores him and it shows, the other is the face Shane makes when he laughs. What a cutie!!
I had just been diagnosed with colitis when I met my husband - and I had active illness for the entire first year we were together - it’s kinda hard to hide 15-25 bloody diarrheas a day - but if it’s the right person a little diarrhea won’t ruin anything ;) We just had our 11 wedding anniversary and have been together for 21 years ;) I just know you guys are on the same road ;)
Keep Your Lantern Lit - thank you but please remember that is only a tiny part of our story - and there has happend a lot since then, both in my health and I medical science... I didn’t tell that part of my story for sympathy ( even though it’s appreciated) but to show that sometimes physical hardships happen to become a part of the glue that bind people together rather than pull them apart ;)
I know exactly what your condition is and it is vicious. It is terrible my cousin has ulcerative colitis. The thing that helped him was kratom. It hardened up his stool and he went from going 15 times a day to 2 times. Just thought id let u know.
Hi! Crohns Disease here. We've been married 29 yrs and 26 of those are with me having an ostomy. I was lucky to go a year without surgery. There is hope and love for all. Never lose hope!
@@OceanLover1188 Hardly! I called her an angel because I love her personality! As a disabled person MYSELF I know first hand that some people DO treat you like you're a burden. But Hannah doesn't see any of that, she sees passed it. And that's something I can appreciate, and SHOULD be celebrated!
@Tolkien!Fan How do you know her parents didn't go? Just because you didn't see pictures of them at their wedding (you claim didn't happen) Could be because their friends & family aren't comfortable with being in the video 🤷♀️ Either way, you're entitled to your opinion
I love that Shane makes her laugh so hard. It’s amazing and his intelligence is an amazing gift!!! Such a talented young man with an extraordinary heart and soul!
I'm 46 and have moderately severe Cerebral Palsy. My able-bodied wife and I have been married 17 years, and we have a very similar story from when we had been dating only a few months. We were celebrating New Year's Eve at her place and I think just before or after midnight I had diarrhea and it was the first time she had helped me go #2. I was embarrassed to tell her and knew this would either kill our relationship or cement it for life. She was so caring and loving about the whole thing, and afterwards she walked down to the corner store to buy some Imodium for me if I remember correctly. We don't drink, so we were sober, I just can't remember all the details. I do remember telling her "You must really love me!" I'm definitely going to show her this video tomorrow; she and I love watching things we can relate to.
My husband used to have a severe gag reflex even just seeing poop. One day years ago he was sick and had accident. He was gagging while I was cleaning him up in the shower and I was trying to hurry and reassure him that it wasn’t that bad. Then I just started cracking up and said “it’s the scary poop”. Not sure why it was so funny to me but the gagging just cracked me up. He has such a great sense of humor that he started laughing too. We totally got the giggles together to the point of tears. Awe such an awesome memory. 😂 Thank you both for bringing joy to what can become very depressing after many years of dealing with chronic health issues. 💕
The first thing my wife ever said to me was “can you keep an eye on the store? I have to poop.” 6 years later we are married and just celebrated 4 years of marriage.
When my now husband and I were engaged, I got wasted after getting sent home from work with the stomach flu. He stayed overnight with me to make sure I was ok, took care of me when I barfed alllll over him, my bed, the floor, the stairs and the bathroom that he helped me to. And still married me. That's love ❤🤦♀️. I love you guys! Your love is so real and brutally honest! ❤
Shane has such an comical attitude, so funny 😂. Hannah, you & Shane have a great relationship with each other. I wish you both a blessed & happy life together.
Cried from laughter!! I understand that position and how it really truly is love. I’m disabled...several diagnoses...my husband of 24 years has been through very compromising situations with me....it sure let’s you know “yep...they’re the one”!!
I remember a story my aunt and uncle told. It was very early in their relationship and they went horseback riding. Not something they would normally do. My aunt’s horse got spooked and started running. She saw a pond and ended up peeing in her pants. My uncle was so understanding and put her at ease. She knew at that point she loved him. Over the years they were rarely separated and were so Much in love. They were such a fun couple!! They were married 49 years. Sadly, my uncle died n 2012 from a massive, sudden stroke. He died two days later on his 70th birthday.
I was born and raised in Connecticut! Grew up in Ledyard, CT. approx. 10 minutes away from Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods. Still binge watching! Hugs to you both! xx Thanks, for the continued, amazing true & real content.
Poop is always a make or break it in relationships. My sister called me from her boyfriend's mom's house and she had pooped and clogged the toilet and couldn't get it unclogged and she was mortified. She had to go get her boyfriend and he had to unclog her poopy toilet. I told her right then that they were getting married. When you go through something like that... It just connects you on the deepest most private level😂😂They've now been married 4 years!
Now as u get older your wife or girlfriend will fart around all the time an even leave the door open when she poops. Crazy lol remember when u 1st gotten together she wouldn't fart around u & now u get get her 2 stop🤣😂🤣
@@jeannie1renee2 My husband farted on the first date and that was his way of testing me. I passed and we ended up talking about poop and farting on the first date. We been married almost 10 years and together for almost 11 years!
I actually did shed a tear when you looked at him and read the part about how that's what love must feel like. You guys are so genuine and funny together. Your videos always bring out a smile even when I'm feeling down 😊
My husband and I have a similar story while we were dating. We are both able bodied, but I had just had surgery and could not "clean" myself properly on my own. I sat there for as long as I possibly could trying to figure out how I could do this. I couldn’t. I needed help. I could call my mom and sit there for the 45 mins or so it would have taken her to get to me. That wasn’t going to work. Meanwhile, my SO kept asking if I was ok. I kept assuring him I was. I sat there for a while and started getting nauseous. I had just had surgery and should have been resting. The nausea was getting worse, not to mention the previous problem was not getting any better. I knew double duty was about to happen. I leaned over the trash can and proceeded to vomit, as well as other bodily functions. I was a mess from head to toe. I knew I had to tell him. The look on his face was a combination of fear and pity. I was mortified, but knew he was the only option. He cleaned me up, and put me back to bed. All he said was he was sorry I had to go through that and I should have told him sooner. After that any time I got up to use the rest room, until I was able to complete the process on my own, he was right there, taking care of me. It was then we knew and we were married within a year. 20 years later, there is nothing we wouldn’t do for each other. No matter how disturbing. Thanks for sharing your story.
Cathy L I hope you are well now!!! Then there’s my boyfriend who leaves me throwing up in the garbage because he’s grossed out (that was my morning sickness during pregnancy)
@@jessicakabelwelter2774 I can't handle people vomiting, no matter how much I love the person. I can deal with anything else (I'm totally fine handling detached body parts, getting bloody diarrhea on me, pulling maggots out of a patient's vagina), but somebody vomiting will send me into a full, hysterical panic attack.
Just found you two about a month ago. I loved this video....I'm a nurse so not grossed out! I understand! One day after a long shift, I came home to my son not making it quite to the toilet with diarrhea. It took me 45 min to clean it up! That's what you do when you love someone.
This truly brought tears to my eyes. I’m sitting here thinking about my husband’s and my 25 anniversary coming up and we are now in our 60’s and our bodies are aging and there are indignities that are beginning to happen between us because of our aging bodies and yet we are still sweethearts and best friends and we still laugh together every day. We have been able to ward off that level of embarrassment but I’m sure it’s coming and my heart is full of happiness because you both have that true love feeling and KNOW it’s true BECAUSE of that experience. It takes really love to experience stuff like that and still find your partner beautiful or handsome and be attracted to them. Thank you for sharing that. I have to get your books, Shane! Your humor is so great!! ❤️💜
Thank you for telling this story and shedding light on what is a fairly normal occurrence for people like myself that have spina bifida and other similar disabilities. . As a disabled person I appreciate hearing how people can get past these sometimes awkward situations. BEST VIDEO YET because you are trying to show what disabled people have to worry about that others do not when it comes to relationships. This is the number one thing I worry about: How will a girl respond to this happening?
Wow, over 2000 comments. Mine will probably go unnoticed, but that's okay. After watching this video, I wanted to thank you for sharing this "love"story. It's the best, and most accurate, one I've ever heard. That is what love is. In fact, when love is tested in this way, it either makes you or it breaks you. Going strong, dear Shane and Hannah. Stay strong. It is worth it.
You guys are my favorite couple to hang out with online. I am binge watching. ... I was flung into the disability community in 2011 when suddenly fainted. I broke my neck impinging my spinal chord = instant disability. So I'm now a quadriplegic. I function quite well tho. Just like Shane. I can't walk at all but I pivot like a pro into the shower stuff like that. Anyhoo I can relate to this channel so well. I have wonderful husband - and he's very handsome So we get the looks. And we're used to it now. It doesn't bother us. We love each other as much as we did before my accident. My mum and brother have abandoned me emotionally since my paralysis. Some people can't handle being around it. And that's the sad truth. We have twin sons x 24-yrs old. But just love you guys. You are both so funny. Love from disability land in Toronto!! xoxo
I did actually tear up during the reading of the last excerpt...so beautiful. I've had to comfort my husband during similar emergencies...though I didn't have to carry him the experience was much the same. I know exactly what you were feeling and did such an eloquent job explaining. Your love is beautiful and special.
Reminds me of the first time my bf(now husband) spent the night over at my house and somehow I ended up with food poisoning and was yaking all night. I felt so gross and embarrassed but 11 years later, he still says I was beautiful from the first day!!
I really love this! Hannah looking at Shane, Shane being so thankful. As someone who's been lactose intolerant since birth and also had irritable bowel syndrome since very young I know the pain, the relief of not messing carpet, clothes etc. beyond repair. I do now believe in love again.
You are both a treasure and were meant for each other. Never let go of what you have, many people search a lifetime and never find this," love without conditions".
I never ever comment on TH-cam. This is my first time & it's been years using TH-cam. I feel like I have to comment here. I'm 46, happily married w/ 3 young adult kids and living in Canada. Since 2014 I have had a back injury w/ so many different diagnosis. I can only walk for 5 minutes at a time and I walk with aids. I can remember days of feeling down until I found your guy's Vlog. You inspire me to 'live' despite, my own circumstances. You inspire to enjoy life again. So, I have been! Thank you. I look forward to your vlogs. I love Shane's sense of humour and Hannah's infectious smile. Your travel videos inspire me to take the time and enjoy all that's around me when I take little trips or even in every day life. You both are amazing individuals. I also have to say I have the kind of goofy love with my husband as you two do. The best of luck together and please, please keep giving us hope, smiles, laughter and inspiration. -Shelly-❤️👏👍
You guys are hilarious! You also exemplify the self-giving aspect of deep love. I love how you can relive an awkward, uncomfortable moment, and turn it into a sweet memory. That's the kind of love that lasts.
Oh thanks for this. I know my husband truly loves me as since having cancer bowel surgery I don’t often get to the bathroom in time and he helps me clean up or does it himself.
This video is definitely one of my favorite. You both are awesome. I can’t help but to laugh every single time Shane describes something. His facial expressions are the greatest. Hannah you’re laughter is just as contagious as Shane’s.
You are such a down-to-earth couple who isn't afraid to share anything...the good, the bad and the stinky. ;) Keep loving each other, laughing and bringing light to this dark world. God Bless!
Two things: 1. This story has perfectly encapsulated why their names are Squirmy and Grubs. 2. "This is his first diarrhea with me!" is the best thing Hannah has ever said.
You guys are always so wholesome and adorable together, I love watching your videos and seeing the genuine love, respect and care you have for each other dosed in an incredible amount of humour!
“Truthishly,” (lol 😆) I actually did tear up at the climax of your story.. when Hannah was reading the excerpt from Shane’s book, he was looking at her in such an endearing way, like it took him back to the moment and he “knew it was love.” Super sweet. Super funny.
I was diagnosed in 1984 with Fascioscapulahumeral Muscular Dystrophy at 14 years old. I will be 50 in a few months. I have been married and divorced 4 times. I have lost my faith in love but I do enjoy your videos. Keep up the good job and keep em coming!
Von Hanshaw But you’ve found love several times! Some people are meant to be in our lives only for a season. Perhaps you will find the love of your life yet!
You guys are a BEAUTIFUL couple! The way you both handle the negativity that is thrown at you is amazing and a real testament to the love you have for each other. I just watched your “I’m wasting my life” video, and I’m honestly amazed that people can see you caring for the person you love as “wasting your life” or that it’s a “burden”. That’s what love is after all. I would really hate to see how they act towards their partners if some life impacting diagnoses were to come their way, would they just say “nope, I love you but “this” is too much sorry..I’m out!” That’s effectively the same thing. By this I don’t mean that it’s a one sided thing either, none of us know your lives outside of what you show and I’m certain that Shane cares for Hannah just as much as she does him only in different ways just like EVERY other couple in the world. Each partner needs different things and you do those things for each other it just so happens that he needs help physically...like big deal. People need to grow up.
Thank you so much, because of your videos I convinced my parents that my relationship with my disabled boyfriend has a future. Keep on going! (I'm sorry for my english, it isn't my mother tongue.)
I cried w/laughter. Seems like at that moment, being new in the relationship, you two went from fun and new to comfortable and serious. You two are an amazing couple, I enjoy watching your channel and following your life story. Beautiful 💜
Don’t listen to any of the haters out there who say your relationship is fake they are jealous that you guys have such a great bond and they are jealous of how amazing both of you really are keep up the TH-cam channel ❤️
Love is messy and beautiful. I have to admit when I first saw you on my youtube feed I thought Hannah was your nurse, the thought of love never crossed my mind. As I'm watching your video I feel so guilty for thinking that way. I'm reminded of the times I cleaned up my share of messes from my family (throw up, diarreah, poop, etc) without being grossed out about it because it comes from an act of love. I've had 3 cesareans and my husband stepped up to take care of me. My kids have puked all over the place and we tag team to clean the mess up. It's in moments like those when you know that you are in it till the end. Only when you trully love someone , you will try your best to make your loved one feel comfortable and safe regardless of what kind of mess you have to deal with.
Omg! Thank you for sharing this story! I have a 5 year old daughter with a disability, and this is the stuff of our life! At least we can laugh about it! Love you guys! Y’all are just the greatest!
I want to say that I love you guys. My partner and I both experienced cerebral palsy and we have faced many uphill battles. I won’t going to detail about those but I will say that when things are tough for us, it is good for me to be able to see that love is enough and that it doesn’t matter what other people say - but that you can also identify with that because honestly, so many people don’t understand what it’s like to be on the inside of these disabilities and being judged by the poor normal people who don’t know any better. If you ask me, they are the ones with the disabilities and my partner and I are just a guy and a girl in love who understand where the other one is coming from. Thank you for all you do and for being who you are in good times and bad, bless you both
After binge watching these videos, I’ve learned a lot. They both have a similar vibe, the kinda people you’d wanna spend time with, and talk on for ages…makes for interesting and engaging vids, don’t change what you’re both doing, and keep smiling often ❤
I've said some weird stuff when my partner tries to wake me up, one of them was "i'm not going fishing today". Cracked me up when you told us what Hannah said "i'm just looking for the vein" HAHAHA
One time I woke up to the sound of my husband's beeping alarm and I said "Honey! The fries are ready! The fries!" I was working in fast food at the time 😂
I am addicted to you’re channel.! And have passed it on to two of my family members who have disabled young adult children. Thank you for sharing! And in a way that’s inspirational and teaching!
I laughed and cried. I have been a caregiver and I can attest to how these moments bond you when you can laugh together. I seriously love your love story so much! Yes, Shane, I actually cried.
“In sickness and in health.” I love that saying. You have both been there for each other in the good times, and the bad ones too. You are, shall I say, perfect for each other, even though you both know it already. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, and I wish you both all the happiest of times together. ❤️😄
I love you two.. I have been married for 33 years now and there has been so much bathroom talk and funny things that have happened and the funny bathroom routines you only do with your best friend.. God Bless You both💕🧚🥀💕
D I like how you stuck that “haha” at the end as though it’s so baffling I believe a couple is actually in love. But yes, I am indeed “one of them” who doesn’t buy into these ridiculous conspiracy theories about someone else’s life.
English is not my native language so it will be difficult for me to express myself in words. I want to say that you both are amazing, every video you upload makes me happy, I wish there were more people like you in the world. Wish you the best :) ( I must sleep now, i'll see your vid tommorow, other side of the globe issue :))
I love how honest you guys are. I truly hope your love story continues because life is hard but.... you guys give me faith that if you really love someone, poop is the least of ones worries. 😊
You guys are great, that is love. I took care of my husband after he was in a severe tractor-trailer rollover accident he he needed assistance at times going to the bathroom and he would not let anyone else in there with him except for me so I totally understand
I'm laughing so hard as my wife 1/2 asleep tries to quiet me. Been there guys and I remember as my wife was allowing me to help her and discussing about real love. You guys are a hoot!
why are the funniest stories they tell on this channel in some way related to vomit/illness? You guys always have me in tears based on storytelling ability alone :)
I just came upon you two TODAY... with the "why we turned down the Dr Phil show" video...and spent this snowy, upstate NY day bingeing on your videos! What a beautiful couple! I just love you two...what a great couple!!
I feel like first poop incidents are bonding moments in couples. :p Really early on in my relationship with my wife we went up to the beach and then went for really good pizza. We stopped at a like, real cream, handmade ice cream place on the way home. I'm mildly lactose intolerant. I don't often think about it because usually I only end up with a slightly unsettled stomach. My intestines were not ready for the real cream on top of the cheesey pizza. It's a two hour drive. We came to a screaming stop and I had to skid down an embankment on the side of the road trying to... Ahem.. elegantly... Remove my pants with one hand with napkins in my other hand... We're married now so.
Lol ive had a moment where i didnt make it and we both had to drive with the windows down, gagging, until we got home and i could hop in the shower. IBS is a bitch.
I have just discovered your channel and I haven’t stopped laughing. What a lovely couple you are. It’s so nice to see people in love for all the right reasons. You’ve both been blessed.
As someone with Crohn’s disease, bathroom issues have always been an embarrassing aspect of relationships for me. Human relationships are so much bigger than what we do in the bathroom. WE POOP TO LIVE PEOPLE!! 😂
Yes! I have chrons diease and I hate it and feel so bad for the people in my life! But I been having my the worst year ever and thank God my fiance doesn't care and he just ignores it now! But I still hate going to the bathroom even in my own house!
I’ve also battled Crohn’s for 20 years & 15 years of living with an Ostomy so poop humor is a part of everyday life at my house, especially stupid poop puns 😏 this story was so great! I was definitely in tears laughing 😂 I admire & adore your love for one another, you guys rock 🤘🏻
@@MyUploadedLifeJD exactly, I haven't seen all their videos, but I remember this, and I was like "oh, that's a genius way how to name a couples channel" Well, the cat is out of the bag.
I was in a relationship with a guy for about 2 years that has muscular dystrophy and scoliosis and his disability wasn't even the reason the relationship ended, there's someone for everyone, disability or not, we will all find our person ❤️
The way hannah looks at Shane, even while hes describing the violent acts of his bowels, makes me believe in love again

There are plenty of women who don't care about poop! Most of us had kids pooping all over us, the bed, the house.
I know, kids and men are not the same.... men's poop is often less smelly 😂😜😜😜😜
Also here we have bidet so cleaning is way easier 😉
chris Barnett I feel bad for you for thinking that. Sorry women have treated you so badly that you’ve become cynical about relationships. It does happen. There are good women out there
chris Barnett Also what money?
That’s a beautiful story and I’m sorry for your lost🥺💓
He woke up not feeling well, took him to the hospital, they sent him home 3 times, the 4 th time (within two day period). They finally admitted him, but it was to late. He passed away, with Mersa in his blood stream.
recipe mama sorry for your loss
@@jenburns6265 I'm sorry for your loss! Thank you for sharing your sweet memories 💕
I pray for a husband that is willing to care for me the way Hannah cares for Shane.
Men don't have that ability :-p
it would be impossible if it was a wife expected to care for an ill husband, in 2022.
Amen 🙏
Best of luck 😅
My heart....I cried. I dont have a disability and I haven't dated in over 12 years cause I'm kinda of a weird guy and a lot of girls just dont want to be with me, but this video gives me hope. Hannah is gold. You are the luckiest man alive.
Timothy Richards how are you weird?
@@nadaleenatasha it's been 3 years, i'm also curious
You look like a normal everyday handsome young man nothing weird about you. Sometimes we judge our own self we r our hardest critic
Hannah seems like the kind of friend that I need. She’s so kind hearted. What a commitment! So beautiful
I’m here after watching some of your recent videos, one thing I noticed that is very moving and beautiful was that the way Hannah looks at Shane hasn’t changed a bit, and it’s this amazing, absorbed look full of love. That’s the way I want to be looked at one day.
Right? Their love is top-shelf stuff ❤
They are both so lucky.
I hope to find my person someday, and I hope you do, too!
When someone truly loves another it’s amazing, when that love is returned it could move mountains
You two are like a breath of fresh air with your incredible openness and cheerful banter. May you have many decades of joy together.
Shane, if you had pooped on the floor I could see you yelling upstairs, ‘Hey everybody, come see what Hannah did’ 😄
Oh you are so right. I got a chuckle out of your remark😂
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha!
Lmao 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Yes he would do that!!!! LOL!!!
Just found your guys channel 1-2 days ago. And I have to say, of my many man many years on TH-cam, you're one of the only "vlog" channels I genuinely enjoy and want to follow your guys life. Both of you have incredible personalities and humor. Along with incredible stories as well. Keep it up
agree!!
Omg! Hawks nest!? Wow, guess I'm not the only cod mobile player who watches this.
LOL
The couple that poops together, stays together. :) Your hubby sounds hilarious. Cheers to you both, wishing you many more happy years together.
Why does the poop project out?
This man’s description of diarrhea is beyond poetic. Amazing writing....
All the men out there looking for love are going to envy the drunken D 🤣
I saw your comment before I heard the book, and you aren’t lying! It’s amazing how humble he is... I coulda sworn he was just like any guy I know. I mean I can write academically, though I don’t talk that way at home, but I’ve never said anything that beautiful!

I swear my two favorite parts of your videos are: when Hanna looks at Shane, she adores him and it shows, the other is the face Shane makes when he laughs. What a cutie!!
I had just been diagnosed with colitis when I met my husband - and I had active illness for the entire first year we were together - it’s kinda hard to hide 15-25 bloody diarrheas a day - but if it’s the right person a little diarrhea won’t ruin anything ;)
We just had our 11 wedding anniversary and have been together for 21 years ;)
I just know you guys are on the same road ;)
Omgoodness I'm sorry you have to deal with that on a daily basis. I'll pray for you my dear ❤
Very happy for you both.
I find it REALLY hard to believe that Hannah is merely a human, I'm pretty sure she's an angel.
I agree I know there are angels in disguise here on earth
@@OceanLover1188 Hardly! I called her an angel because I love her personality! As a disabled person MYSELF I know first hand that some people DO treat you like you're a burden. But Hannah doesn't see any of that, she sees passed it. And that's something I can appreciate, and SHOULD be celebrated!
@Tolkien!Fan I hardly think she'd throw 4 years of her life away for a bit of money 😑 Anybody can see they genuinely love each other.
@Tolkien!Fan How do you know her parents didn't go? Just because you didn't see pictures of them at their wedding (you claim didn't happen) Could be because their friends & family aren't comfortable with being in the video 🤷♀️ Either way, you're entitled to your opinion
Beautiful pure heart ❤
I love that Shane makes her laugh so hard. It’s amazing and his intelligence is an amazing gift!!! Such a talented young man with an extraordinary heart and soul!
Agree, they are perfect to each other
I'm 46 and have moderately severe Cerebral Palsy. I do remember telling her "You must really love me!"
I'm definitely going to show her this video tomorrow; she and I love watching things we can relate to.
What a shitty story :D
As a squirmy in my relationship I've got to say the best invention ever is one king size bed and two individual queen size comforters
Thank you both for bringing joy to what can become very depressing after many years of dealing with chronic health issues. 💕
The first thing my wife ever said to me was “can you keep an eye on the store? I have to poop.” 6 years later we are married and just celebrated 4 years of marriage.
Hahahahaha!
I've had seizures where I ended up peeing on my then boyfriend. He didn't bat an eye. I still think very highly of that human. They're kind of rare. ♥
Lmao that human 😭
It didn't last with him? Wonder why?
would be different if it was a man doing that.
Ummm the fuck
She got a real high from this virtue signal post right here fellas. Haha. "my then boyfriend". It didn't last. Yeah. No surprise.
Cried from laughter!! I understand that position and how it really truly is love. I’m disabled...several diagnoses...my husband of 24 years has been through very compromising situations with me....it sure let’s you know “yep...they’re the one”!!
The two of you are the epitome of what love is.
Over the years they were rarely separated and were so
Much in love.
@@jeremykeith6541, my husband asked me to marry him the first time I farted in his direction. 😂😂😂

I hope you are well now!!! Then there’s my boyfriend who leaves me throwing up in the garbage because he’s grossed out (that was my morning sickness during pregnancy)
Oh Cathy, that is genuinely romantic 💖
what a beautiful story
Im reading this comment while.pooping OMG
@@jessicakabelwelter2774 I can't handle people vomiting, no matter how much I love the person. I can deal with anything else (I'm totally fine handling detached body parts, getting bloody diarrhea on me, pulling maggots out of a patient's vagina), but somebody vomiting will send me into a full, hysterical panic attack.
The way Hannah is just staring at the camera while Shane is “dying” with the most *done* expression is just a huge mood 😂😂😂😂

Since 2014 I have had a back injury w/ so many different diagnosis. I can only walk for 5 minutes at a time and I walk with aids. I can remember days of feeling down until I found your guy's Vlog. Oh thanks for this. I know my husband truly loves me as since having cancer bowel surgery I don’t often get to the bathroom in time and he helps me clean up or does it himself.

You really can tell it's love just by the way she looks at him. And she's so sweet and pretty, so I know he loves her.
I can’t remember the last time I broke into tears and laughter at the same time. Thank you for this story.

Love the way the two of you relate to each other. Shane, you are quite a character.
Omg! Thank you for sharing this story! I have a 5 year old daughter with a disability, and this is the stuff of our life! At least we can laugh about it!

James Paul Well that’s a dumb comment. Good job.
I have severe IBS-D and this made me laugh so much as I sympathized with your pain and embarrassment. I’m so glad you made it 😂
Same here
I want to say that I love you guys.

Real talk 😁 because when love is pure there is no shame 🥰
I honestly love you both so much! Never leave youtube. You always brighten my day. 💕
The smile on your faces shows everyone how much you love each other I think Shane is so funny
I just came upon you two TODAY... with the "why we turned down the Dr Phil show" video...and spent this snowy, upstate NY day bingeing on your videos! What a beautiful couple! I just love you two...what a great couple!!
Peensez that’s how I got started. 👍🏻
They really are amazing! Welcome!
@Yugo_Mon You seriously suck, man!
I feel like first poop incidents are bonding moments in couples. :p
Really early on in my relationship with my wife we went up to the beach and then went for really good pizza.
If you can almost poop yourself with someone it wont work lol.
True love❤
Only true love if she wiped it for you? 😂😂😂
Lol ive had a moment where i didnt make it and we both had to drive with the windows down, gagging, until we got home and i could hop in the shower. IBS is a bitch.
@@lifeunfiltered4822 amen! Are you on the lowFODMAP diet? If not , check out #strandsofmylfe. Suzanne is the Queen of lowFODMAP
Now, I AM going to get the book! Love you guys!
Everyone uses the bathroom and this brings back my belief in mankind. So glad you two have found your true love.
I have just discovered your channel and I haven’t stopped laughing. What a lovely couple you are. It’s so nice to see people in love for all the right reasons. You’ve both been blessed.
I have Crohn's Disease (and several additional illnesses) so I SO understand Shane's description of the poop-pocalyse 😵💜
I was definitely in tears laughing 😂 I admire & adore your love for one another, you guys rock 🤘🏻
finally I know who is Squirmy and who is Grubs !
I always wondered.
.. and Shane is Grubs because his hands tend to get grubby.
I was just thinking this. I still remember the video where they mentioned the names and said we would have to guess who was who
@@MyUploadedLifeJD exactly, I haven't seen all their videos, but I remember this, and I was like "oh, that's a genius way how to name a couples channel"
Well, the cat is out of the bag.
I was in a relationship with a guy for about 2 years that has muscular dystrophy and scoliosis and his disability wasn't even the reason the relationship ended, there's someone for everyone, disability or not, we will all find our person ❤️
"Let's not beat around the butt". I am laughing maniacally!!!!!! Thanks for all the laughs! It's the BEST medicine!!
