    Big surprise, Mr. "hierarchies are natural, just look at lobsters" thinks working class people are lower down on his hierarchy and that the lower down you are on that hierarchy the less you get.

      What irritates me about the lobster thing is that genuinely, it is a good example of how deep these primal instincts are in all beings, even humans. But shouldn’t the takeaway be that we should gain awareness of that in ourselves and try to think above it? Why should we strive to be more barbaric just because it’s “in our nature” when we also know better?

      @@jaegerphoenixoutdoors problem is: they don't. They put about as much work, if not less, cokpared to many working class people.
      Most rich people were born wealthy. Others usually luck out.
      Sadly, actual hard work is negligible. Same for skill.
      Rich people manufacture the myth of meritocracy to say that less fortunate people are just lazier while, in fact, they often aren't.
      It's just about having good luck on your dice rolls, although being willing to abandon human morals in pursuit of wealth and power seems to help a bit.

    • @jaegerphoenixoutdoors
      @jaegerphoenixoutdoors ปีที่แล้ว

      @Alex it's still hard earned money. They shouldn't have there money taken away and given to our evil goverment or lazy people who refuse to get a job.

      @@jaegerphoenixoutdoors i-m sur3 being born is a veeeeery hard job./s
      Also, no lazy people. Only people who had a bad roll of the dice and are now blamed for system failing them.
      As for government - government is much more efficient than gofundmes.
      While a gov can be evil, it is often benefixial.
      Also, evil gov (see nazi Germany) is often supported by ultra rich, cause ultra rich get even more rights in such syst3ms, unlike poor people.

    • @jaegerphoenixoutdoors
      @jaegerphoenixoutdoors ปีที่แล้ว

      @Alex this goverment is pushing us to being a communist country that's no better than China, they are trying to over throw our constitutional rights. This is an evil goverment. I was a big consumer of his classroom stuff. I think i made it a year or 2 passed the Cathy Newman thing.
    I was digging the lectures on story of buddha, and some other early lectures i just found so interesting.
    But once i made it to the religious lectures and his assertions that basically Christianity was the true way or some sh$t like that , i don't remember, but it was ridiculous. I was out.
    Hes the master of making an easy concept unnecessarily complicated. A lot of these right wing bigots will slip in a sentence or two that sound logical but they've screwed the meaning un/internationally. They don't do, or mean, the good thing they've wrapped up in their jargon.
