Thank you very much for this video. The software you created to demonstrate the effect of Amplifier Gain on the resulting signal is outstanding. So, without a "Gain" an amplifier would simply convert electrons to voltage in a linear manner. With a Gain vale for the Amplifier we cause the voltage to b reached with fewer electrons but this will also cause the full well capacity of the sensor to be diminished. Is your software available online?
Thank you, this is a very clear tutorial! It really helps to walk through the examples slowly and see how parameters change. Excellent video!
Thank you for a fantastic video. I‘ve been looking for a simple explanation of these concepts for some time and this video hit the spot perfectly.
Why does the read noise in ADU increase at all? Isn't this a property of the ADC? Why does it go up as the amplifier gain increases?
Thanks for a wonderful way of putting it out. I have been looking out to understand this unity gain business and now I know!
really awesome tutorial. Thanks! I know ow much time and effort it must have taken you doing all those animations

Glad you enjoyed. All of our software is available freely via our website (in the downloads section)
excellent video,
can you share the software you are using to describe this topic?
Glad to hear you enjoyed it. The software was written in-house just for this video so I'm afraid it's not in a shareable format.
