    The plastic under the sticker isn't discoloured. The rest of the case is.

      That actually makes sense, because the sticker would protect the color while the rest of the case would discolored from age.

    Definitely enjoyed this type of format, not all the time, but if it’s labelled as an in-depth walkthrough/repair then people should know what to expect before clicking.
    Could you link the smaller triwing bit please? The screwdriver looks top notch!

    If you're looking for other suggestions, I've started branching out into PSPs. The screens are a lot cheaper for one (I think I got one for 7 or 8 quid from china!) and things like the joystick are pretty affordable too.
    I love nintendo as much as you, but the name sometimes seems to attract far more of a pricetag than it needs to...

    It's nice to see the entire process but I also do like your old style. I talked about it with Bill Thorpe and we both agreed that each episode was a cinematic masterpiece. Your editing is always on point. Perhaps you could mix the styles? For more complicated projects you haven't done before you can have this detailed style while routine work gets the Elliot flair? You could even mix them in the same videos, editing the cleaning process into a montage for example.

    I personally prefer this over the normal short and cut let's refurb (although i love those), and I wouldn't be mad at all if these became a more frequent thing :) I feel like these are more "person to person", and I personally like seeing every little thing that goes into the refurb!

    You should use electrical cleaner or contact cleaner and just spray the whole motherboard down.
    I fix desktops and laptops outside of my regular job and I have actually fixed motherboards that people have said was dead it's cheap and it works the force behind the spray gets in all the nucs and crannies like the power button on your GameBoy.
    Let me know if you decide to try this and if it works for you I would love to see your video on it cheers bro

    • @JamieWilliamsJamminJamie
      @JamieWilliamsJamminJamie 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just try it contact cleaner or electrical clean is 100% safe and is not gonna damage anything on the motherboard unless it's already broke. I spray down my motherboard on my pc just to clean it and my motherboard isn't even broke trust me it is safe to use and it will help to loosen up anything on your motherboard

    I got a Gameboy color today. Problem is, I left my games at my mom's because it wasn't supposed to arrive this early.
