I haven't seen it, but if it's like the rest of Disney Star Wars it's shallow with zero understanding of the Star Wars universe.

Sadly it’s pretty much as you describe. Some of the ideas are OK but it needed a lot more work in the writing stages and needed to be cast better.

No, it's not. It's a fine show. At It's worst points It's average and a bit corny... but its star wars... star wars has always had average and corny writting.. But it has some of the nest fightscenes and choreography of ANY star wars.

All the press, marketing and acting performance aside, it's really bland. Nothing makes any logical or rational sense, the so-called murder mystery is revealed in the first 15 minutes, and pacing of many scenes are non-existing. They mess up the existing lore a bit, and their responses didn't help the case either.
One thing I give this credit for is Lee Jung-jae learned to speak English for this, altho they could've just made him speak his native language, put subtitles in and show that Jedi knows other languages too.

I was the same with the murder mystery. It was cleared up so quickly, I wondered why I needed to keep watching.
