Camp Snap Camera- trying out these $40 cameras while playing on skateboards at the beach

The fists few hours after we got these 2 Camp Snap Cameras in the mail. They are pretty fun, low quality, super low cost digital cameras.

These were designed as an alternative to disposable film cameras, and I think they compare very favorably. I could definitely see myself carrying one of these everywhere or leaving it in the car when I wouldn't want to risk a more expensive camera getting damaged or stolen, plus the 1990's vibe of the pictures is fun.

Hey I recognized that area and John’s Pass right away!
And this looks like a fun street photography camera with a bit of a retro look to the pics. Does the shutter lag get annoying thought?

Yes, especially with the silent firmware, when without the sound you’re not really sure when it’s taking the photo. Fun for simple, low q pics but pretty slow for street.

The idea of the camera is pretty nice, but 60 euro is way to much for what its offering. If it was like 30 - 20 euro i would buy it. Other than that, nice video!

It did but also because it’s a 1.5 version then older ones u can’t update and the newer ones you can
