Agree, i want to see Isaac Clarke be added at some point. And considering they got Matthew Porretta to reprise his role for Alan Wake, i can see Gunner Wright coming back as Isaac for DBD. Imagine Isaac having a functional RIG health system on his back and i can already hear the grunts of pains being top tier because of Gunner Wright's voice assuming he does come to DBD.
His background info seems to imply that, yeah. Says that he remembered an old story of his that he eventually scrapped called “Dead of Night” or smth, whose premise was very similar to that of DBD. So he essentially wrote himself into DBD in order to find a way for him to escape
