Rio is a beautiful male Northern Mockingbird that lives in my backyard. He likes to perch at the top of a holly tree and gets into the occasional fight to defend his territory. See my playlist titled “Northern Mockingbird ~ Rio” to watch more videos of him, he is quite the character!

Haha yes he keeps the yard safe from the hawks & eagles! I think this bird is a male…I could be wrong though! 😄
