  • Yep that's right. I know the fps is garbage and it looks like it was made on windows xp but it's my first video with screen recordings so it's a work in progress
Thank you @sisqobmx for this video idea, you gave me the motivation to make my first tutorial
To anybody struggling with double magazine reload animations, I hope this video helped you figure it out.
Let me know if there's any other tutorials/stuff you wanna see, I will work on making more content in the future
    Gun: Infinity Ward/Battlestate Games
    Rig: Hozq
The gun rig is a slightly edited version of Haydn Cooper's low poly ar15 for that one challenge thing, seeing the mags parented to the mag control bone really helped me figure out the animation process.

Was looking forward for this video. Thanks! The concept is definetly clearer now, only need to apply the techinque myself. Btw, how do you usally approach your anims? Like do you do many "blockout" poses then switch to bezier interp and then fix the incorrent/clipping frames? (can be seen in this video) th-cam.com/video/o5VJfVtU554/w-d-xo.html - Or do you have a different approach? Would be an intresting tutorial too. 😃

I'm so glad I could help! Usually, I just create a few poses and try to get the timing sort of okay (for some reason, I find it hard to make the timing right when there isn't much movement). I then work in the graph editor for a while, emphasizing movement and adding "in-between" frames. Usually after the movement has been worked on a bit, I fix clipping and add more posing to hands and magazines. After that, it's just more polishing and it's finished. That's just kind of the way I got used to making animations; however given that I haven't really created that many, the process might change a bit in the future, probably changes for efficiency and more dynamic animation. That's a great idea for a tutorial though, I'll do that too for sure!
