from a 53 year old man who had no idea who these 2 were, thanks RockWiz for opening my eyes "again"
47 Richard and love this version better than original
This show stages some amazing talent but having them perform together is a real treat... I cannot wait to have a DVD box set of every Rockwiz duet..
Yeah it is steve . I love the song
A truely beautiful duet of one of my favourite songs... thank you.
a beautiful song covered brilliantly
How wonderfull was that 🤌
Absolutely brilliant. One of my fave rockwiz duets of a classic. Can't help but belt it out
OMG....Thank you RocKwiz, what talent we have in OZ.
There's talent all over this planet...
Australia has many talent people not only in the music field
That’s a great vocal match!
I love it. The instrumentation is just right, letting the vocals plenty of room and that Tele solo is spot on. Nice!
wow wow wow, absolutely marvellous this is music in reality. I hope the modern generation learn something from this performance.
That could have been a train wreck, but Juanita and Steve nailed it - faithful to the original but with their own flourishes which enhanced. Bravo!

An amazing cover of an amazing song on an amazing show.
You said it all!!! And in just a few words. 'You could never write for Home and Away'.
This is stunningly beautiful.
I just bought Juanita Steins new solo record, yeah vinyl, love it - called AMERICA. Shes probably the loveliest and most talented export we've ever had here in Australia. So gifted --- wow!!! wished shed do some shows in Melbourne
Free Speech this Wed Feb 27th @The Toff in Town!!!
Love this song any time, but they are great!
A great duet, more than ably supported by the RockWiz Orkestra, they are good !
Love this show for the live music. Lets keep producing this. Love listening to good live recordings.
Juanita brilliant voice of howling Bells, probably best band from Australia
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
Trivia for those who are interested. The song was on a comeback album for the Everly Brothers. In about 1965 they toured the UK and recorded an album called Two Yanks In England (released in 1966) with many songs written by Graham Nash, Alan Clarke and Tony Hicks under the name L Ransford (Nash's grandfather). The album didn't do very well but The Hollies having provided the songs and played on the album became friends with the Everly Brothers. They then suggested the song as a single for The Hollies and as they say the rest is history. Two Yanks in England - Wikipedia
song was written by Albert Hammond and Michael Hazelwood, written and recorded by Hammond in 1972. Hollies did it in 1974.
Magnificent version, well played Rockwizz
Love these Rockwiz vids, watched a few now. Would be great to be there in person. Artistes so talented, much better than many of well known ones, such as Rita Ora, Cheryl Cole/or whoever now plus so many others lauded on reality programmes as so called mentors. So many performers known are merchandising tools not musicians. Younger people today have missed out on really gifted people and have bought into banality.
If I could make a wish
I think I'd pass
Can't think of anything I need
No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound
Nothing to eat, no books to read
Making love with you
Has left me peaceful, warm, and tired
What more could I ask
There's nothing left to be desired
Peace came upon me and it leaves me weak
So sleep, silent angel, go to sleep
Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Peace came upon me and it leaves me weak
So sleep, silent angel, go to sleep
Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you

This is just so good!!!
Juanita has the French skill that french girls haven't. What a beauty poet girl.
Not Eddie Vedder and Not Zooey Deschanel put forth the best cover of this song ever made... Actually, Steve Smyth is better than Eddie would have been. What commitment!
Awesome version guys.
Wow
might i add... what an awesome rendition
Brilliant
Dang Steve sounds like Roy Orbison at times. This is my fav of all the RocKwiz performances with "Baby Blue" by Isabella Manfredi close behind.
Holy shit that was good
Please, PLEASE, upload Steve Smyth's - "Digital Heart" performance upon his entrance...
i have never been so hypnotised by a song
Can't find it any where...has it been uploaded???
Come on Rockwiz....please please upload Steve's solo song from his performance on that night :-)
Awesome
anyone else things this sounds like verses sound like radiohead?
outstanding
wonderfull song better than the original, i love the Rockwiz
wonderful cover to be sure, but nothing holds a candle to the original. But this is very well done, to be sure.
The Hollies did NOT record the original.............it was initially recorded by Albert Hammond on his 1972 album It Never Rains in Southern California........one year later Phil Everly of The Everly Brothers released a wonderful cover, which was presented to the Hollies and they did their version in 1974.
Thanks, we've made a change in the description.
It said made popular by the Hollies which is the best version ...
Read the comment above (and two years before) yours from the uploader.
@@laurieaylmore7676 Nah Radiohead did it best

wonderful. I just wonder what would have happened had Steve played the solo part...
Jesus wept. Great

Great cover...Not an easy song to pull off...But gee That lad has got a set of pipes on him
If i were to die watching this live it would have been a good death
but immmm a creeeppppp
Which RocKwiz Duets album is this on??? I thought I had all of them, but this ain't on any I've got
Not a patch on Alan Clarke.
Tne Brit's know how to rock 🇬🇧
It's giving 1981 or 1988, this cover.
spaz!
Ordinarily I love the Rockwiz duets, but she didn't quite make the grade on this one. Kinda flat. (damn)
Thats a beard and a half. Looks like he swallowed a dog.
