Come the spring thaw, it’s awesome breaking the dam and watching the water drain out.
Post 10 does unlawful dumping when he moves debris onto City or County property. It's also trespass because that property isn't his. When he goes to ponds, that's NOT his property. If he gets injured, the property owner is responsible for injuries. He has been notified on t.v. not to do this. The City can contact him. He STILL does it but not on TH-cam like before. He OBVIOUSLY isn't working. He's out there at night. Snakes are around. He recently moved straw onto the grass from the gutter when he cleared a gutter. That's unlawful dumping. Gutters are City or County property.

Lots of people do not realize that on the pond side of the beaver dam , it’s slopped very far out into the pond. That allows the dam to be rebuilt very fast. They simply start pushing mud back in the hole after the water slows down
I wish someone would explain why you all get so much enjoyment watching the destruction of one of natures most beautiful and useful creations. Wetlands make severe weather events less destructive by slowing runoff during rainy weather and storing that water for dryer times going forward. GROW UP!!
The machine is nice for sure. It is just a small excavator. What the machine does is determine by who is operating it. Clearly this little excavator was being operated by a very skilled operator. No jerky all smooth and fluid movements. As for the Beavers if you don’t live in the area and know about beavers and what is required to remove a beaver damn just be quite. Just because a beaver can dam up a water way does not mean he gets too. In the USA and Canada we have done very well in letting beavers reconstruct waterways but it still require control. Is there a way to use the beavers' dams favorably for your needs instead of destroying them? I mean, it's free intensive specialized labor. Is it possible to outsmart the beavers and choose the sight where a dam in your property would be useful?

Isnt it illegal to remove a beaver dam once established unless your in an urban area where a newly built dam is causing flooding it is illegal to take down an active beaver dam .not sure why people keep putting these up .but its getting ready to go bad

It was very considerate of you to neatly stack up the building materials for the beaver, instead of just breaking it open, and letting everything wash downstream. . Just give him a couple weeks, and he will build it again !!
