I love watching Pogba play. He is a master of his craft. He keeps defenses off balance with his passing becuase his vision and execution are seocnd to none. He makes unpredicatble, dififcult passes look routine. What an awesome player. You have to watch Francesco Totti master of backheel. He is the goat of passing. You should also check out Berbatov, the man with pillows for feet.
Pogba is one of the most talented midfielders in the world and arguably the most physically gifted. His only problem has been consistency. And that was Zlatan at 16:50. They played together for 2 seasons.

Actually it really was Zlatan at 16:48, they played together for a season at Man Utd. There's two other videos called The most hated and French genius that showcase him more overall including dribbling and scoring.
The craziest thing is that he distributes balls as well from the left as from the right, inside of the foot, outside of the foot. It's just an amazing "control tower".
He passes the ball better than some QBs except he does it with his feet.

Pogba on his day has some of the best ability of any midfielder in the world the probably his day only comes about 3 times a season. In my opinion other than for France where he’s been brilliant and 1 season at Juve he’s underachieved in his career.
His not really been brilliant for France as people think,Launching 2 or 3 long passes for a fast clinical player like Mbappe isn't special...wardprowse can hit those all day..He is just lucky to be in an exceptional team in France;what more can you ask for when you play alongside Kante

Glad you guys reacted to him! He is one of my favorite players, but like others have said dips in and out of form. He plays very well for his National team France, probably because he is the happiest on that team, so it shows in his play. being considered a substitute player usually is a compliment to the player. some usual reasons are that the player is able to turn games around quickly with his actions; he can bring a new dynamic into the game; you have other players in your team, which you would prefer to deploy from the beginning; you want to spare the player because he is of high value
pogba is not a substitute
Very gifted player, on his day he's one of the best midfielders in the world but he's been very inconsistent throughout his career, imo he would've had the potential to become one of the greatest midfielders ever, unfortunately we never seen him fulfill it. His contract with ManU is running out in the summer though and he still hasn't signed a new one, if he goes to the right team he might still be able to unlock that potential, he's like 27 so he should still have 5+ good years in him.
PSG are talking about recruiting him, but i doubt that he will fit with that team. However he would dominate in Ligue 1 if he joins them.

Also with the likes of vini and mbappe(if he joins) making runs behind. plus benzema’s great understanding of the game would be so good for him but he just can’t stay healthy which is sad. Hopefully he goes somewhere and finds any glimpse from when he was at juventus
What you were saying about the passing on an angle is pretty spot on to, its better to play it into "the channel" (which is either side of the middle of the penalty area), and then you hope to have another runner to square it to across the face of goal. Certain strikers are known for scoring less and running the channels and setting up their teammates. Real Madrid had this perfected during their most recent golden era, Modric or Kroos(similar passers to Pogba) would play it down the channels for Benzema to then square it for Ronaldo to tap it in

Pogba is a beast when he's in the mood. But when he plays for France he's a different animal, he's the first name of the team sheet for France. Club level he's more of a, in the mood type of player. If he's in the mood, the man's genuinely world class. But if he's not in the mood, the man just disappears in club matches.

When he plays international his team members play which complements his style. At united is all turmoil from a tactical standpoint. We are still trying to reestablish a style of play which was loss from Sir Alex. Its been hurting performances for years. No only that, the club brought him back for a way higher price than selling him which was just silly business if there weren't any plans building a style around him.
But he was quality at Juventus, quality when he plays for France and quality when he plays higher up for united in the 10 and off the left! ‘In the mood’ cause his mood is the reason he’s not performing at the best of his ability not the team? My Guy PP. LaBile. He’s so gifted it’s both a blessing and a curse. He’s 6’4 and has the feet and skill of a ballerina but the physicality of a Tight end. So often times he gets played if of position.
His passing is unreal. He’s got guys running slant & go’s, post routes, seam routes and he hits them in stride.

He’s not underrated b because he is so inconsistent. Probably has 2-3 games a season where new plays up to his potential
Great midfielder with a fantastic passing range and vision, who showed so much promise when he was Juventus, and then went back to Manchester United under a clueless manager where he lost his way.
Underachieved compared to his phenomenal talent, despite the trophies he's won (World Cup with France, 4 Serie A titles with Juventus, Europa League with Manchester United).
Pogba is much more than passing... he is very skillful and has a lot pf physicality.

As an Englishman, I would enjoy watching your reactions to a David Beckham or Wayne Rooney video. Beckham was a pass master, and was deadly at free kicks. Rooney was predominantly a striker but had a lot more to his game than scoring goals. Both players had stints in the MLS towards the end of their careers too, so you may be familiar with them.

A thing about the positions, they are only a rough guide to where each player needs to be on the pitch, but the team still moves together as one and presses in certain directions based on where the ball is on the pitch, so if the opposite team is moving closer your goal, the whole team will move back and squeeze together to close the gaps and give the opposition less space, thats why sometimes it looks like there's hella defenders but really its both the defenders and midfielders back defending
You should also react to his skills. Hr is very very very skillfull. When he is on form he is easily one of the best midfielders in the word. The problem he has is just consistency

you got a point about passing at the angle but as a defender myself, its harder to defend when they pop the ball in the middle. fewer moment to react and to reorganize the defensive line. but to be fair if the striker cant control the ball then its useless to have a passer like him. his pass are world class so the receiver also need to be on his level.

He is indeed reported as injured, but he is also up for a free transfer at the end of the season and is constantly flirting with leaving for other teams. He certainly was injured but is in no rush to get back to helping out his team. I could be wrong, but it's also relatively standard when things are going on behind the scenes with "diva" players in disputes with the club to be "injured"
