I never been to Santa’s Village in Scotts Valley sadly, it was long gone before I was born. But that building at 1:42 was the last remaining building, and my sister and her friends used to hangout there when at was abandoned. I only saw it one time, the building was the Polo Barn built for golf champion and polo player Marion Hollions. But Sadly it was demolished in 2014!
I can remember as a young rug rat when me and my brothers and sisters went up into the mountains out in California to meet and greet Santa Claus! It was a Train Trip at night no less and we saw Lights and had popcorn and hot coco on the ride up and around the mountain. It was definitely before we lived on Oahu and Dad was still over in Vietnam on his 2nd Tour. I do remember getting off the train and immediately smelling logs burning and seeing very cool lights and elves too! No animals around that I recall but I remember us kids got a present to take home with us. Scotts Valley absolutely SHOULD have been preserved if only as a Landmark for all who left a piece of their Youth there! Thank you April for making me feel Happy! MOO 👋🍎 🥰

I’ve been to Santa’s Village as a youngster! Vague memories but I know I loved it there!

OMG yes! But I never went. Only saw the remnants along 17 on the way to the beach in the early 80's.

I was 8 when it closed. Didn't have much say about it. :(
Did know about these places but have been to Santa Claus house in the North Pole by Fairbanks Alaska where are the reindeer 😀🇺🇸
There is a livestream of the north pole where you can view it at any time!
