Cadences in Major keys
Perfect: Chord V to Chord I (sounds bright and finished)
Plagal: Chord IV to Chord I (also called the "Amen" cadence, you can sing "Amen" on the same note)
Imperfect: Chord I to Chord V (sounds unfinished)
Interrupted: Chord V to Chord VI (chord VI is a minor chord, so this sounds a bit unexpected)
