Simple, no big tools needed, no specific and tedious measurements! 😸. To the point. Not needed to show the whole painting process, but good tutorial. Just what I needed. Thx
Didn't realise this video was playing in the background until the 7:30 mark when my ears were abruptly assaulted by the sound of vigorous sanding. Other than that, good stuff.
Yes that's all I can think about lol. Either a clamp or at the very least something heavy to help stabilize the side he's not cutting. I do woodwork for a living so I know from experience that not only would it be safer, but it would make it easier too!
I know this video is older at this point. But could you explain what's happening at 5:32 to 6:32 a bit? Where did the lines come from and what's being nailed with the drill? Also do you know what angles you used because this shelf is perfect!
Awesome! My only critique is maybe paint the wood before attaching it to the piece with fabric so you dont have to worry about getting paint on the fabric. Not trying to be mean just a helpful observation!🖤🖤
i would fill in the cracks on the wood with filler before painting so that its nice and sealed and flush. otherwise the cracks show through after the paint is dry.
Hi the back of the shelf was wood we found in the back of the shed, I'm not sure what type it was, but the shelves and outter edges were timber lengths about 2m long.
Hey thanks for the feedback. I realised that after posting it but wanted to show everything we did so people could follow. My editing was really bad here too haha.Aa
nagrom cerbu no hubby used the saw in the video 🙈 he should have used a miter saw. He didn't have one to hand so he cut the angle on one of them then offered it up to match :)
Wouldn’t it have been better to use wood glue and screw the sides together then screw them on to the back? It looks amazing but there are a lot of gaps where the edges meet that putty and securing them together would have fixed.
Yep we could have done that, but it looks fine the way it is, this isn't a professional d.i.y. it's for those who don't have the full sources to build one in a workshop and stuff you might have laying about.
I love to build coffins...I will like to meet a girl to help me with decorating..I am a normal person look a like ..but my heart my mind & my soul are gothic..!
If anyone has built one from this video, I'd love to see it!
BatBones in the process now!!!

Hi Rachel, I already knew I had messed up by doing that when I started to paint😂🙈 I've made more since this video But thank you!
Super late on this video lol but what are the measurements for the shelves?
Is there a certain way he angled it edges? I saw you said he did it by hand and matched the other side but is there a trick with the saw? Thanks! :)
Really like the shelving you've done! Love building little things like this.
True love is building a coffin together
What are the measurements if you don't mind me asking ☺️
I'm Gothic I live in Morocco but my soul is Gothic I'm proud of all the love I have beautiful Gothic people
How did you get the angles to line up? Especially without mitre saw
hi what measurements did you use for the shelves?
I love the final result!🖤 and I love the other shelf too 💜 I want to do one so bad but I don't want to messed up :/
Thank you so much! You'll be fine x if you over cut or under cut you can always sand it down ❤️
Can you list materials used in the description please?🖤 I wanna make this
It is mdf and velvet and instructions are in the video also x
i would fill in the cracks on the wood with filler before painting so that its nice and sealed and flush. otherwise the cracks show through after the paint is dry.
Yep you certainly can do that if you want too. :)
Did you put it up on the wall? If so, how? A friend made me one but I have no idea how to put it up on the wall
You'll need to add hooks onto the back of it, one in each top corner and it'll hand of the wall from there x
Hello what size/style wood materials did you buy? Like if it was a sheet of plywood (how big? The frame size of wood bought, how big?

I found it yay 🖤 Thanks for sharing this.🙏🏻
Im gonna make one but question can you paid the wood before attaching it all together?
Yeah you can paint it before hand, I don't know why I didn't paint it before if I'm honest haha. :)
@@BatBones I miss spelt paint my bad but awesome!! I just wanted to make sure I could before hand, I dint wanna mess the shelf up.
@@Duckiecrossing I knew what you ment 😊 yeah just make sure that you have let it dry completely before putting it together :)
It's really cool but maybe you should have made more cuts in the video, some parts are too long
Hey thanks for the feedback. I realised that after posting it but wanted to show everything we did so people could follow. My editing was really bad here too haha.Aa
BatBones I can understand ! But your shelf looks awesome !
Also completely cut out the part where you joined the bits up which is the bit I really needed to see 😑
Oh beautiful coffin! I wish I want one so bad. But my apt is not have enough room. 👍😊😘🤟🏽🖤🖤🙌🏽⚰️🦇📱
Did you use miter saw for angles, you don't show those cuts being made,??

+BatBones oh kool, i wanted to ask before i started sawing lol☺ thanks!
That is brilliant 🦇🧛🏻♀️

I don’t have any sound! Hopefully I get it made correctly
Hi heather, it's mainly a watch and read tutorial x I had to remove sound due to a copyright claim 🤦🏻♀️ sorry c
that looks amazing x
What are the dementions for this
350mm x 600mm x 75mm
I love to build coffins...I will like to meet a girl to help me with decorating..I am a normal person look a like ..but my heart my mind & my soul are gothic..!
thank you so much
What measurements did you use please?
Lena La Kittie 35cm width (widest point), 60cm length and 7.5cm depth.
BatBones thank you! Im going to make this. Yay!
Doggo 🖤🐕
Do you have measurements on this project?
Basic Measurements are at the beginning. 350mm W, 600mm H, 75mm D. You can then decide the angles of your coffin after. X
Anyone else not have sound
Yes there is no sound as someone tried to copyright the free music I used.
Song ?
Wow!!! Amazing. Well done!!! 🤗🌸🌸 I also make videos on youtube. You can check it If you want. 😊😊😊
