You never know what bucks will show up during the rut. Self filming in my home state of North Carolina a buck I have no history with, no pictures of came in hot on the trail of a doe. Sometimes you can just get lucky.

Nice buck glad you got him. I know everyone freeks out about arrow wieghts but ive actually had really short track jobs this year 40 to 60 yards. Shootin day six arrows with 125g iron will single bevels. That said i have killed a few animals with rage broadheads. I just feel from my own experience heavier arrows and fixed heads have performed better. Everyone cries about cost of broadheads but most cheap broadheads are 1 and done lol. Love your you tube channel keep em comin

Congrats on your buck! Where did the shot end up exactly?

Shot caught the ribs in the way in deflected, caught 1 lung and clipped the back of the other. I actually had an exit wound.

​@@jeffcordero_same thing happened to me this year on a 14 yard shot on a buck. Sevr deflected off the ribs and it exited much farther back and the arrow stayed in him. Found him 70 yards away but not the best blood trail
