Regarding XI, since Seekers of Adoulin there's a 3rd tank job, Rune Fencer, analog to V's Mystic Knight and more specialized in magic defense and exploiting elemental weaknesses. One Warrior skill I'm fond of that was left out was Retaliation, which makes you counter-attack when attacked at the cost of slowing you walking speed (kind of a "stand your ground thing, I guess"), which can be great for tanking and general situations when you're in combat - counter-based tanking hasn't been too popular in XI, even if I enjoyed it a lot several year ago with the monk sub-job (which has a Counter skill of its own that cancels enemy physical attacks to deliver its own) while using an axe and shield. With the new Mastery levels system, which can raise the level of sub-jobs, and may be expanded in the future, i wonder about the possibilities that may open...
Yay, you're alive :D Regarding Retaliation, the FF14 Warrior has it as well but it's an actual defensive cooldown that reduces all forms of damages taken by 30% on top of those "auto-attack counters". I want to cover all the forms of "counter attacks" in the Monk video since they became more or less synonymous, just like I did with my "Evolution of Thief and Steal command" video.
