I am in Italy and since the pandemic, everything is just becoming gray and gray...how nice seeing all the colorful food and things in the video, people without masks.... I want to turn time back.

the chili, vinegar and calamansi together with the soy sauce is meant to be mixed in that little dipping bowl that come s with it. Crushed the chili, squeeze the calamansi, pour the soy and vinegar, you got your dipping sauce for the meat.

Also calamansi+ chili + fish sauce + ground peppercorn = dipping sauce for your sinigang meats !! 😎
You don't add calamansi directly into your broth lol.

The "popcorn butter" you are tasting is pandan. A plant that smells like vanilla. Hence why it's green. That drink is called buko pandan, because it mixes pandan with young coconut.

I really like it. I can't wait to have it again. Popcorn jelly bellys is a flavor of jelly Bean in The USA. It's sweet and buttery with a hint of corn sweetness. .

Fill a plastic bag with vinegar and place the shower head inside it for a few minutes. You can tie a rubber band around to secure it. It should dissolve the lime blocking the flow of water. Nothing you can do though, if the problem is weak water pressure.

My most favorite Filipino foods are; 1) nilagang baka ( boiled beef chunks with potatoes, pechay - green leafy veggie, black pepper, not too much salt ) the broth is good when u put it on rice and this is healthy., 2) tinolang manok ( i don't know the english translation, ( it's soup based and it's healthy., 3) sinampalukang manok, it's like chicken sinigang but slightly different. It's also cooked in tamarind, it's sour., 4) sinigang na baboy, hipon, or isda - ( pork, shrimp, or fish )., 5) bulalo - ( boiled cow's leg bone, you eat the bone marrow, you prick or pluck it out by your knife and suck it with your mouth. This is healthy and very delicious but!, not too much because eating too much bone marrow increases your cholesterol. Maybe you eat this twice a month., 6) eschabeche, i don't remember the english translation but it's a fish dish. It's got lots of veggies in it and it's sweet and sour based., 7) sinigang sa miso, this is a fusion between filipino sinigang and japanese miso. It's really good, you know!, it's, the more sour, the more bitter, the better. We filipinos use salmon, sometimes maya-maya - ( red snapper ), or tuna., 8) sisig, all varieties from all over the Philippines., 9) adobo, all varieties from all over the Philippines., and 10) affritadang manok, it's a chicken dish cooked in tomato sauce, it has diced potatoes, diced carrots, sliced red bell peppers, and a little bit of patis ( fish sauce )., 11) affritadang baboy, - ( pork ), same procedure as number 10., 12) laing, this is a bicolano dish, it's super spicy, it's a green veggie dish cooked in coconut milk. There you have it mr Lost Expat!, i'll see more of your videos and i'll check out your latest vlog. Man, have a great day!. Stay safe at all times.

@@FoodXBert Starting with High Five 🖐️✊🤟😁. Yup. The owners are very kind and the staff in Aling Sosing's karenderia. Unlimited beef broth or bulalo nilaga beef soup 🍲 to the point that customers would say enough because they're full. I just tried the pork cheeks meat sinigang in tamarind in Nida's karenderia in Bautista Street, Makati. I don't like the staff in Nida's karenderia because they are not friendly. Seriously, the condiments soy sauce, fish sauce are in small plastic bags. So, customers won't get too much of those condiments. Another turn off is even the ice cubes must be paid. It's summer time and customers need ice cubes. In Aling Sosing's, you can ask for ice cubes and even a liter or two liters of water, unlimited water and ice for free. The owner in Nida's karenderia is too much economical. It's a turn off. Aling Sosing's and other karenderias in Manila know how to take care of customers better. Good luck on your TH-cam channel and more good stories to come. Ending with a high five 🖐️✊🤟😁
