I would prefer if Eye of the Jungle instead of just placing a ward on the camp, it gives you a stacking lesser ward into your inventory that you can place wherever.
Or after so many seconds a ward is placed at your feet. So like 6 secs after clearing it or something. Just in case they don't want it taking up a slot in your inventory

Bumba's Hammer on a bruiser Guan Yu jungle build is gonna be gross I'm calling it rn. With 40% CDR you're going to be able to reduce the cooldowns of your abilities by insane amounts with this item and his built-in CDR with his heal and dash. I can't wait to spam abilities like never before!
I feel like eye of the jungle would be cooler if it placed a mini ward on a random spot on the map or there could be a group of dedicated ward spots and it could pick from random out of that pool
"it almost feels like this is what you would buy if you're just tired of yelling at your team for not getting sentries" almost makes it sound like a core item for support whenever you're stuck with weirdos who still believe support is the only one who should buy any wards...
I think a good change for eye of the jungle would be making it reduce cd on the vision shard. It would keep the theme of providing vision while making it more versatile and encouraging using it more often.
On one hand, I like that, on the other hand, it would make the passive entirely redundant from level 12 to 20. So it would have to offer something else after that.

Yeah i tried eye a few times but it just felt bad till it got upgraded. I feel that its passive needs to be replaced to feel better. Manikens is best on any self sustaining aa god, arachne and baka are the main 2 i feel. With bumbas just working on basically everyone. Bluestone KA jungle will be aids for sure haha and i will have fun with Yemoja with bumbas hammer once they fix it and allow her to buy it again
Ability junglers definitely got the short end of the items, or at least the upgrades. But I’m not sure if the AA junglers have that much help early with low sustain jungling starters which sounds like it hurts Kali and Nem a lot more than it hurts Baka and Arachne who have built in sustain. I think you could see manikin sceptre on some ability junglers that like to AA cancel like Hun Batz and Ravana, but I didn’t get to play many games on PTS so I’ll have to wait until S8 is live
Looking at Manikin Mace. While it’s max stack is 4, if you auto someone 5 time, will they then take more burn ticks? While the ticks go away you are still using autos to hit them and still keeping stacks on them? So in a fight, the burn will stay on for more than just 4 ticks right? By the end of the fight your enemy might have taken 6-7 ticks of burn. Where you will really only get one use of the other manikin passive

In my opinion on the manikin subject. Mace is going to be for gods/builds that will lock someone down or will have the speed already while Hidden blade is for surprise attacks which will force the enemy to fight so gods/builds need to have more sustain and power
eyes of the jungle should work like if you clear a camp , a ward gets placed for 20 or 30 seconds when it spawns again . it’ll let you know if someone is invading and if it is worth even going to check the camp out . pretty much making it so the ward doesn’t place after clearing , but when the camp spawns again .
16:15 Its worth noting that the Maces burn damage is physical and by the time you can purchase it at lvl 20 all your enemies will have increased protections and thus you wont be dealing the full 240 damage per tick, not even close. Whereas Hidden blade seems like the ideal choice for gods that can engage with zero risk - Rat, Thanatos and Thor ults come to mind, for example (plus sceptre seems good on thanatos to begin with considering his sustain from killing minions and his 1 anyway) . And with it being % damage, it'll still end up doing more due to it not being reduced from protections your enemies are getting through simple leveling or buying a single defense item.
Thats not how mitigations work. Hidden blade passive is also physical damage. It doesn't actually deal 15% of their current health. It gets mitigated just as much as mace passive.
Wait for the manakin one, you didnt add the additional 50 true damage per basic on mace. Wouldn't that make it 440 over 4 procs versus a 400 on a 2k hp target?
Oh lord manakin hidden blade loki with hydra's. You would be hidden back stab with poison hydra and get the 15% health along with the extra basic attack dmg all in one swing.

They should make it so that when you get the jungle buff you instantly become lvl 20 with an infinite amount of money so you can reign hell on all the lanes. Bumba's Hammer not working on king Arthur is very specific... Does it work on other multi ability gods like Artio, Ullr or Merlin etc? Or proc after each of Susano's 1?.. Combining it with Tsukuyomi's kit sounds scary by itself.
I personally would want to use manakin hidden blade for the slow on Kali. The burst is nice, but recently movement speed has just seemed so inconsistent (and every mage building doom orb doesn't help). Often times gods that have less movement spd than me outrun me, so the fact that I get a small burst of damage and a slow sounds amazing to me. I can easily kill someone, but they just always manage to run away 😭
I feel like you're disregarding how op true damage is. This may also just be a low rank/lvl opinion on my part, but true damage is actually crazy. Especially that much of it.
How am I disregarding it? I placed Bumba's Hammer in S tier and it's the only new item that has true damage against gods. Bumba's spear only works against objectives and the others all don't have true damage.
@@liambrasier6590 i can totally see how one can interpret that item description as "your basic attacks deal +50 true damage" + "your abilities deal +50% damage against jungle monsters" reading the "and" as a separator between 2 effects or "your basic attacks deal +50 true damage against jungle monsters" + "your abilities deal +50% damage aginst jungle monsters" imho it's not the best wording as language makes stuff like this easy to misinterpret compared to let's say math formulas where one might put brackets.

I gotta disagree on that Scepter. Yes movement speed is nice, however i would gladly sacrifice movement speed to guarantee a kill in the early game. That is literally all assassins are ment to do, they aren't supposed to chase for an infinite amount of time so the fact that Scepter allows for that kill to be secured even if just a slight bit faster it is worth it. T1 Scepter is 750 golf T1 boots is 500 That leaves 250g. That is a hog + plenty of pots to help you sustain almost infinitely, and definitely if you ignore hog all together because of how Scepter allows you to farm camps almost effortlessly. Even if you are an "ability based" assassin more often than not Hydras is going to be built either way so the extra damage from Scepter is going to be stronger than you give it credit for.
Alright so I'm going to ask a stupid question and I understand the hate I will get with this but... for as long as I've played smite (since beta) I still don't understand why it's HP5 and not HPS. I never paid much attention to it bc I understood what that gives to the player but I think its time I come out with my ignorance.
@@jeckles I used Fafnir. Starter item (Gliding Arrow) Most magical shoe. Toxic Blade for 15 Pen of magic and physical Telkhines Ring for magic and attack speed. Ring of Hecate for more attack speed Spear of the magus for its ability Rangda Mask for devil damage And then replace shoes with Doom orb. What’s also essential is Heavenly Wings for Haste and Belt of Frenzy for attack speed + pen + damage. This damage. Is disgusting. It’s gross. But Fefnir is really weak against groups but destroys about everyone in 1v1 all out. Edit: Reason why not used is because it cost too much coins.
In my opinion bumbas is D Tier would probably never build it as a jungle Main in it's current state. Specially because Kali, Tsuku, pele, daji and nemesis are my most favourite jungler. My build would be junglers eye with Kali, nem and Tsuku, Cepter with daji, pele also with Kali but that depends on the enemy jungler.. Btw junglers eye is pretty useful it can prevent jungle invades also a stolen enemy Camp can reveal the current Position of the enemy jungler... But idk we'll see when S8 starts.
First of all, I don't think you understand how tiers work. Second of all, Tsukuyomi is one of the best users of Bumba's Hammer in the entire game so even for you alone, that rating doesn't make sense.

As a fenrir main who is purely ability based I am, incrediably depressed that all the jungle items are just auto attack to win. I already think arachne is the worst god in the game to play against and with this im probably going to quit the game until I get ways to beat that with ability based items.
I was fuming seeing how many of these starters favor auto attack gods..I was hoping jorm would get some more flex but the devs in their wisdom screwed jorm over by making a huge number of these useless to him..all because they're so favoring hunters and auto assasins this update
I mean, most AA junglers are in a bad spot currently, I understand playing into arachne can be rough but you gotta pick/play around her anyway. So maybe this will put AA junglers ahead of some ability based junglers but tbh It's a change I welcome
@@malachai1743 arachne and bakasura are very dominant , arachne especially..putting them ahead is a bad move as their kits are not well designed..with arachne being the biggest offender , their should not be a gap this wide in item variety
@@immortalls9689 I don't mean this as an insult in any way but at lower levels baka can seem pretty oppressive, but outside of that he just gets destroyed. In a late game teamfight you literally have to wait till the enemy mid and support have nothing up then dive and that will usually just result in your solo being out at that point. There are some different circumstances of course but he is not good in higher levels of play. He has to get ahead and stay ahead, if he falls behind or gets even it will be an uphill battle foward.

@@immortalls9689 that's not how jungling is, most of the time you build enough prots to survive the burst, or bring enough cc or burst of your own. Baka can't afford to do these. I love baka but he can be really rough to play. Yes if you get a comfortable lead baka can destroy like anyone else but he has no safe poke, initiation, or utility to bring to the rest of the team. He and Bastet are very similar in I go in and do damage. Either go in early and hope your dive is better than theirs, or go in late for clean up. Now either of these can work but if you are a second late or early you get blown up instantly or the enemies cds are back up and you die instantly. Outside of late game teamfighting Baka can carry games hardcore, he has high pressure and good chase, but this gets countered way to easily by early grouping or passive play by the enemy. Now to your original point will the new items make him op? It may very well do so,but I would like to not have to get perfect team comp to play him into.

It’s not meant for that though, it’s meant for when you invade the enemy camps you get the timer and ward for it so you can keep rotations

Yeah you can only have a max of 4 stacks at once if you attack a 5th item all you are doing is setting the item back to its maximum damage of 4 stacks

Thats not how mitigations work. Hidden blade passive is also physical damage. It doesn't actually deal 15% of their current health. It gets mitigated just as much as mace passive.
The only difference is that hidden blade passive works better against flat damage reduction.
I dont know if its intended or not but Arachne's spiderlings are able to proc manikin scepters passive

You should be able to fit both a starter and one of those items in your build

You need to proc your auto attack to get the cooldown reduction and the 5% heal guess what items king arthur cant proc and its auto attack items
And if manakin or something is working in him atm its 100% bugged

Against solos/supps, true damage just shreds them. But assasins don't want to fight against a tank, they want to kill a squishy mage or adc

For ex: If you get the finishing blow on the Mini Harpies Near Solo Lane, it places a ward on top
of the harpies on the enemies side.
Why are they giving protection stats to items that go on squishies? Last thing we need are tankier junglers or God forbid adcs.

This damage. Is disgusting. It’s gross. But Fefnir is really weak against groups but destroys about everyone in 1v1 all out.

In my opinion bumbas is D Tier would probably never build it as a jungle Main in it's current state. Specially because Kali, Tsuku, pele, daji and nemesis are my most favourite jungler. My build would be junglers eye with Kali, nem and Tsuku, Cepter with daji, pele also with Kali but that depends on the enemy jungler.. Btw junglers eye is pretty useful it can prevent jungle invades also a stolen enemy Camp can reveal the current Position of the enemy jungler... But idk we'll see when S8 starts.
First of all, I don't think you understand how tiers work. Second of all, Tsukuyomi is one of the best users of Bumba's Hammer in the entire game so even for you alone, that rating doesn't make sense.

As a fenrir main who is purely ability based I am, incrediably depressed that all the jungle items are just auto attack to win. I already think arachne is the worst god in the game to play against and with this im probably going to quit the game until I get ways to beat that with ability based items.
I was fuming seeing how many of these starters favor auto attack gods..I was hoping jorm would get some more flex but the devs in their wisdom screwed jorm over by making a huge number of these useless to him..all because they're so favoring hunters and auto assasins this update
I mean, most AA junglers are in a bad spot currently, I understand playing into arachne can be rough but you gotta pick/play around her anyway. So maybe this will put AA junglers ahead of some ability based junglers but tbh It's a change I welcome
@@malachai1743 arachne and bakasura are very dominant , arachne especially..putting them ahead is a bad move as their kits are not well designed..with arachne being the biggest offender , their should not be a gap this wide in item variety
@@immortalls9689 I don't mean this as an insult in any way but at lower levels baka can seem pretty oppressive, but outside of that he just gets destroyed. In a late game teamfight you literally have to wait till the enemy mid and support have nothing up then dive and that will usually just result in your solo being out at that point. There are some different circumstances of course but he is not good in higher levels of play. He has to get ahead and stay ahead, if he falls behind or gets even it will be an uphill battle foward.
@@malachai1743 that's all assasins late game as your too squishy to survive a direct assault..bakasura is a snowball machine and thanks to his mechanics getting ahead isn't difficult
@@immortalls9689 that's not how jungling is, most of the time you build enough prots to survive the burst, or bring enough cc or burst of your own. Baka can't afford to do these. I love baka but he can be really rough to play. Yes if you get a comfortable lead baka can destroy like anyone else but he has no safe poke, initiation, or utility to bring to the rest of the team. He and Bastet are very similar in I go in and do damage. Either go in early and hope your dive is better than theirs, or go in late for clean up. Now either of these can work but if you are a second late or early you get blown up instantly or the enemies cds are back up and you die instantly. Outside of late game teamfighting Baka can carry games hardcore, he has high pressure and good chase, but this gets countered way to easily by early grouping or passive play by the enemy. Now to your original point will the new items make him op? It may very well do so,but I would like to not have to get perfect team comp to play him into.
