I miss the old PES, you could download kits and edit the leagues for the unlicensed stuff. Some might find doing that tedious but it was worth it for me cos I preferred the gameplay.
I miss it so much as well. I use to love doing all the editing. I’d buy the game and spend hours doing all of it before I even started playing the game. No football games will ever compare to those PES games. PES 2008 was the last great football game and all the pro evo’s before that year were absolute classics miss them all so much
If you know about football, you can recognize efootball is much better than fifa. Motion, Body proportion, ball physics. all kind of game play is much better than fifa. but any other things, like stadium, license, atmoshpere.. fifa is way better than efootball.

I started playing eFootball just because there's so many games coming out I just refuse to buy FIFA at launch again, but I would love to see Borat play more of it. I want to see the sauce and techniques he cooks up, I didn't even know you could actually do stepovers like that 😂
Gameplay against ai on high difficulty is amazing at E football 24. My problem with the game is lack of content. I play with standard players that I ONLY train with match xp and not items/boost. I find the game much more fun and enjoyable this way not having a team of 90+ rated
99+ rated players are pretty bad at efootball 24. I can't feel much of a difference when using them. Ofc they are better, but way less than in previous versions
Bro you need manager with good stats according to the team play styles. For example, if your team is playing counter attacking, your manager should have high stats for counter attacking. That will increase your players overall stats/rating. That Neymar base rating is 95, but with a good manager, he can go to up 98 or 99.
People still rhink that efootball is the mess it was on 22 but its genuinely a really good game football wise,content is also good but theres just a lack of gamemodes holding the game back

"Feels like FIFA '97" - Would explain why I like eF so much. A lot more than the latest FIFAs, I played. The last FIFA, I truly enjoyed, was '09, but that was thanks to Manager Mode and simulated matches.
efootballl 2024 is surprisingly very good. Yes it hasn't got the flash of FC24 , licenses and Master League equivalent. However as a football game, eFootball 2024 in my opinion blows FC24 out of the water EASILY. Once you get bored of the repetitive cut scenes and the scripted gameplay, you realise how much better the gameplay in efootball is. I decided to invest some time with eFootball and was left unbelievably satisfied. The gameplay graphics feel silkier and smoother and you actually feel that your playing a realistic football sim. FC24's harder levels are just ridiculous in so much that the AI scores every time they shoot. Also defending is diabolical as you do not feel you are in control of your players. The AI seems to assign the wrong player who is not nearest the attacker which is so frustrating. Online is just a joke, Anyone who plays as PSG has a massive advantage mainly down to Mbappe having super human speed. Nearly every online opponent I have ever faced is always playing as PSG!! I think Konami have made huge strides since the franchise was rebranded and sure there has and still are niggles but as a like for like football simulation, it's streets ahead of FC24. We just need a better offline mode, Master League etc and I think the franchise will reclaim its crown. eFootball 2024 is a huge step forward towards that!
It is a lot better than in the last two years, but still so much more has to be done. Regarding your team, everyone has such a team after a few hours. Players, money and xp is thrown at you in this game without any effort put in. It gets boring after a few weeks and the gameplay is not as good as it used to be in the good old pes times to make up for the lack of challenge and content

Transfer market has fixed prices, so you can buy everyone you want for a reasonable price. After that you can level players with XP boosts, which also get thrown at you in bulk. With the coins you can more or less buy inform versions of players. You have an incredible team without having played one game. It is a perfect game for everyone, who is lazy and just wants to run around with his dream team
Man I'm with this game since it's SNES days, it's was ISS then Winning Eleven then PES and so on. It had it's ups and downs but since 2019 the downfall of this game was inevitable. Nowadays they sell us a mobile phone game that is ridiculous. This game is very suitable for kids and indy players. It also gives you some help if you spend some money in it. All in all this is not even a mere shadow of its former self.

This game is full of scripts that are meticulously designed to makes sure that you lose certain games. I don't know when it usually triggers but whenever it triggers the following things happen- 1. When the game wants you to lose the game, the defenders turn into sluggish brainless players that are harder to turn than turning a cargo truck. 2. The attackers intentionally place themselves behind opposition defenders in such a way that no pass can be made towards them. It is bound to be intercepted by your opponent players. 3. The game also very subtly slows down your players in a game it wants you to lose so that you can never keep up with the opposition attacker. 4. When the game doesn't want you to win a ball or catch up with a player, it will deliberately make your take an unnecessary wider turn so that it takes just long enough that you can't reach the ball before the opponent. 5. Attacking AI also becomes stupid. High rated players like Messi or Mbappe can't receive a simple pass and just completely overlook the ball that just went past them and was meant towards them. 6. The keepers strategically place themselves in such a way that as long as a good enough shot comes towards their direction, they will not be able to save it no matter what. All of it feels terrible and out of control. if you have played this game long enough, it will become quite evident when the script is in your favor and when it isn't in your favor. I know when my opponent is in the receiving end of the bad script, my players zoom past them and make incredible passes that they can't stop. But it doesn't feel rewarding because deep down I know that the game is handicapping my opponent so that I can win. The game has incredible potential to be one of the best football games ever. They have also refined the mechanics when the game feels fun. But my gripe is that it feels unjustified when the game holds you back intentionally to make sure that you lose the game. You end up playing against 2 entities, your opponent and the game itself. I wish someone would sue this game and end this trend of using scripts in a video game for player retention. It is destructive, selfish and malicious to say the least. Boycott this game and raise voice against big corporations that exploit players for their own benefit.
i felt every sentence of it. the only problem you had is you need to pay to win a game. " i am PES addict, but this thing you've said tempted me to quite PES". if you play with player card you just bought, (not the free once). you might not see those problems... the game is just asking you to buy cards without asking directly.
All facts you said and the worst part is you still missed some things. A few times I've seen the ball phase through my defenders leg/foot and concede because of it. Ive also noticed many times how the ai will deliberately shoot at an angle knowing the rebound from my keeper will give them a tap in. Plus that super shoulder barge WHENEVER ai wants the ball - usually on legend and it doesn't matter how high your players physical contact stat is .... The blatant scripting is truly disgusting behaviour. I don't wanna play a game i gotta exploit to enjoy.... thats crazy smh

I gave this a go yesterday. 10 hours later hooked. The ball is it’s own entity. Not on rails. If a fifa fan you have to give it a good few hours but honestly it’s so much more fun to play…

In the most unbiased way to possibly say this: this game definitely looks a lot better. The menu and UI looks god awful and FIFA 2005 but if they just fixed that up I can see it actually giving EA a bit of competition because this looks like a proper football / soccer game.
FIFA was a good game in my time between 1999 and 2002. After a long time I played EA FC and I wasn't even surprised that it got even worse. At the end of the day it's just about two football games, I think Konami has the potential to bring the game to a good level.
This game is slow as hell and their responsiveness is sluggish. But fifa is not an option. They shd work on the sluggishness. The players trip far way too easily and it takes some time before they gain their footing and that's irritating. However, it's free and I must give them a thumbs up for that.
Konami spat on all the people that made the game what it was, the game that could keep up with FIFA because of the dedicated fans since PES and even ISS on nintendo. What a way to completely and shamelessly try cash in on a disgusting gaming trend. I hope the company goes bankrupt.
For someone like me who has only played FIFA since inception, eFootball seems a bit strange. I actually downloaded it on the date of release to try it out. Safe to say I won't be playing it a lot

@@babajideamure108Fifa's always been one step ahead in terms of controls, even back when eFootball was PES (and a much better game) and had more types of passes/shots, and other controls, it was still lacking compared to Fifa. But the gameplay of eFootball/PES is miles better than Fifa. You just need to get used to it. Also skill moves are there, albeit less of them overall, but the skill moves in eFootball are extremely effective. As far as triggering runs - yeah, not sure why that's missing from eFootball, while it was present in PES, but I guess a lot of things are missing still. Just use L1/LB+Pass, it works even better than in Fifa. Also players tend to do a lot more runs on their own, compared to Fifa. P.S: Oh, and you can trigger a different type of a run if you pass while holding R1/RB.
The point is FIFA is an arcade game, eFootball/PES is a football sim: once you get this and stop comparing (same as 'Super Mario Kart' vs 'Assetto Corsa'), you can definitely discover and learn the depth and goodness of Konami's gameplay.

Football is not skills, it’s just passing, and building on it. This game is not FIFA 97, EA games have gone to lowest possible levels. E football is simple, easy and as good as real football without all the football skills stupidity.

"Feels like FIFA '97" - Would explain why I like eF so much. A lot more than the latest FIFAs, I played. The last FIFA, I truly enjoyed, was '09, but that was thanks to Manager Mode and simulated matches.

efootballl 2024 is surprisingly very good. Yes it hasn't got the flash of FC24 , licenses and Master League equivalent. However as a football game, eFootball 2024 in my opinion blows FC24 out of the water EASILY. Once you get bored of the repetitive cut scenes and the scripted gameplay, you realise how much better the gameplay in efootball is.
I decided to invest some time with eFootball and was left unbelievably satisfied. The gameplay graphics feel silkier and smoother and you actually feel that your playing a realistic football sim. FC24's harder levels are just ridiculous in so much that the AI scores every time they shoot. Also defending is diabolical as you do not feel you are in control of your players. The AI seems to assign the wrong player who is not nearest the attacker which is so frustrating. Online is just a joke, Anyone who plays as PSG has a massive advantage mainly down to Mbappe having super human speed. Nearly every online opponent I have ever faced is always playing as PSG!!
I think Konami have made huge strides since the franchise was rebranded and sure there has and still are niggles but as a like for like football simulation, it's streets ahead of FC24. We just need a better offline mode, Master League etc and I think the franchise will reclaim its crown. eFootball 2024 is a huge step forward towards that!

It is a lot better than in the last two years, but still so much more has to be done. Regarding your team, everyone has such a team after a few hours. Players, money and xp is thrown at you in this game without any effort put in. It gets boring after a few weeks and the gameplay is not as good as it used to be in the good old pes times to make up for the lack of challenge and content
How do you get the crazy players? I'm not familiar with eFootball packs/squad-building or whatever there may be?

@@SlCKNESS_ well efo does it with loads of gifts you get. You get free players here and there, you get free money here and there and you get money and coins for the easiest tasks. Transfer market has fixed prices, so you can buy everyone you want for a reasonable price. After that you can level players with XP boosts, which also get thrown at you in bulk. With the coins you can more or less buy inform versions of players. You have an incredible team without having played one game. It is a perfect game for everyone, who is lazy and just wants to run around with his dream team

Man I'm with this game since it's SNES days, it's was ISS then Winning Eleven then PES and so on. It had it's ups and downs but since 2019 the downfall of this game was inevitable. Nowadays they sell us a mobile phone game that is ridiculous. This game is very suitable for kids and indy players. It also gives you some help if you spend some money in it. All in all this is not even a mere shadow of its former self.

This game is full of scripts that are meticulously designed to makes sure that you lose certain games. I don't know when it usually triggers but whenever it triggers the following things happen-
1. When the game wants you to lose the game, the defenders turn into sluggish brainless players that are harder to turn than turning a cargo truck.
2. The attackers intentionally place themselves behind opposition defenders in such a way that no pass can be made towards them. It is bound to be intercepted by your opponent players.
3. The game also very subtly slows down your players in a game it wants you to lose so that you can never keep up with the opposition attacker.
4. When the game doesn't want you to win a ball or catch up with a player, it will deliberately make your take an unnecessary wider turn so that it takes just long enough that you can't reach the ball before the opponent.
5. Attacking AI also becomes stupid. High rated players like Messi or Mbappe can't receive a simple pass and just completely overlook the ball that just went past them and was meant towards them.
6. The keepers strategically place themselves in such a way that as long as a good enough shot comes towards their direction, they will not be able to save it no matter what.
All of it feels terrible and out of control. if you have played this game long enough, it will become quite evident when the script is in your favor and when it isn't in your favor. I know when my opponent is in the receiving end of the bad script, my players zoom past them and make incredible passes that they can't stop. But it doesn't feel rewarding because deep down I know that the game is handicapping my opponent so that I can win.
The game has incredible potential to be one of the best football games ever. They have also refined the mechanics when the game feels fun. But my gripe is that it feels unjustified when the game holds you back intentionally to make sure that you lose the game. You end up playing against 2 entities, your opponent and the game itself.
I wish someone would sue this game and end this trend of using scripts in a video game for player retention. It is destructive, selfish and malicious to say the least. Boycott this game and raise voice against big corporations that exploit players for their own benefit.

All facts you said and the worst part is you still missed some things.
A few times I've seen the ball phase through my defenders leg/foot and concede because of it. Ive also noticed many times how the ai will deliberately shoot at an angle knowing the rebound from my keeper will give them a tap in. Plus that super shoulder barge WHENEVER ai wants the ball - usually on legend and it doesn't matter how high your players physical contact stat is ....
The blatant scripting is truly disgusting behaviour. I don't wanna play a game i gotta exploit to enjoy.... thats crazy smh

I gave this a go yesterday. 10 hours later hooked. The ball is it’s own entity. Not on rails. If a fifa fan you have to give it a good few hours but honestly it’s so much more fun to play…

In the most unbiased way to possibly say this: this game definitely looks a lot better. The menu and UI looks god awful and FIFA 2005 but if they just fixed that up I can see it actually giving EA a bit of competition because this looks like a proper football / soccer game.

FIFA was a good game in my time between 1999 and 2002. After a long time I played EA FC and I wasn't even surprised that it got even worse. At the end of the day it's just about two football games, I think Konami has the potential to bring the game to a good level.
This game is slow as hell and their responsiveness is sluggish. But fifa is not an option. They shd work on the sluggishness. The players trip far way too easily and it takes some time before they gain their footing and that's irritating. However, it's free and I must give them a thumbs up for that.

@anmolthapa7338 Maybe because it's my first time playing. There are a few things in FIFA that I wasn't able to use. Like calling players short, triggering players to go behind. Basic skill moves. I don't play ping pong, I enjoy the possession style of play 433 false 9
@@babajideamure108Fifa's always been one step ahead in terms of controls, even back when eFootball was PES (and a much better game) and had more types of passes/shots, and other controls, it was still lacking compared to Fifa. But the gameplay of eFootball/PES is miles better than Fifa. You just need to get used to it. Also skill moves are there, albeit less of them overall, but the skill moves in eFootball are extremely effective. As far as triggering runs - yeah, not sure why that's missing from eFootball, while it was present in PES, but I guess a lot of things are missing still. Just use L1/LB+Pass, it works even better than in Fifa. Also players tend to do a lot more runs on their own, compared to Fifa.
P.S: Oh, and you can trigger a different type of a run if you pass while holding R1/RB.

The point is FIFA is an arcade game, eFootball/PES is a football sim: once you get this and stop comparing (same as 'Super Mario Kart' vs 'Assetto Corsa'), you can definitely discover and learn the depth and goodness of Konami's gameplay.

To be honest both games are great in different ways, when it comes to gameplay you can't even compare fc to efootball Cuz efootball it a clear winner here and fc feels soo robotic.
