InFloat™ - Wolfgang K. Meyer-Hayoz presents exceptional shipping system for microtissues

Based on a perfectly thought-out design, InFloat™ ensures secure transport of live micro-organisms that need to be sent to pharmaceutical labs worldwide.
The system is designed as a free-floating spherical container. Floating on water inside a square-shaped shipping box, the container keeps the micro-organisms from accidentally being flipped upside down. Cooling packs ensure a constant temperature. This supports the microtissue’s health during a transit. Made of robust material and featuring a compact design, the outer box is stackable and safely absorbs impact during shipping.
Wolfgang K. Meyer-Hayoz, CEO of the Meyer-Hayoz Design Engineering Group and Red Dot juror, presents the InFloat™ shipping system from the Swiss manufacturer InSphero. The product was awarded a Red Dot: Best of the Best in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020.
