Despite the country having faced wars, communistic slavery, & genocide which caused the country to fall behind many other Asia countries…. I expected Laos to at least be well ahead in development… BUT it’s NOT. In fact, Cambodia seems to be more developed and in better shape than Laos despite having faced all those devastations. Therefore, Cambodia takes the win. However, Laos is still beautiful in its own right. I would visit Laos before I would visit Thagland.
