Oh my gosh I can relate to your travel and messaging stress so much! I'm American and my partner is Brazilian - I flew down once to surprise him and it was so hard to plan out the 32 hours of messaging, as he and I are also always talking! Definitely pre-took a few selfies, and told him I wasn't feeling well and was going to sleep a lot. Between him and I though he's actually the one to pick up on the details more so I'm surprised I got away with it but it was so worth it!
