OMG, I was just in Positano this past May after visiting Rome also loved the beach there. That's what I love about living in London is that these wonderful places are just a couple hours cheap flight away. Looks like you and your sister had a fab time. Oh, and the boat captain that you guys had was cute. ;-)
Meanwhile summer's almost over and I'm still waiting for my vacation 😂😭

This video made me so happy! I absolutely LOVE Positano! I went there last November and it completely captured my heart ♥️ we also really loved Montepertuso which is right next to Positano (there is this incredible hike that you can take up to the arch and you can see the most magnificent view of the coast). Amalfi was also amazing. I suggest taking a tour of the church there and just walking through the town. It is incredible!
Come back to Positano and I'll show you a whole load of amazing things to see and do along the coast!
Sorrento is amazing! The coastline, architecture and the food, particularly, is some of the best I've had in my life. From some one that's been fortunate to have travelled extensively.

Currently living in Italy and I haven't been to an ugly place yet. Ive traveled around a lot and topping the list (Other than the Amalfi coast) are Sardegna, Cinque Terre, and Lake Como. I hope you get to see more of this beautiful country I have fallen in love with!
Hi Raya thank you for your video of your beautiful holiday especially in Amalfi coast, i took my mum there 8 years ago before she died as she was very poorly and i took her there as she wanted to go there one last time and we had a great time there and i will never forget it as my mum meant a lot to me as it was my pleasure to have one last time with my mum. Benvenuto in Italia Raya! - As a seafront town you won't find anything to rival Positano along the Amalfi Coast, for a similar 'locational high' you would need to visit Portofino on the Italian Riviera, but when next in Naples please also visit the island of Capri, and even Ischia if you have time, and for some culture Ravello. Amalfi town, while it doesn't have quite the 'buzz' and setting of Positano is also idyllic with a great cathedral and, as always, lovely shops and restaurants. Divertiti!
No way! My last day in Positano was your first day! I absolutely loved it and I'm glad you got the opportunity to see it too! Next time you're in Italy, I really recommend exploring more of the town of Amalfi, so breathtaking😍

I just returned from Italy in September! Amalfi Coast and Positano was by far the most beautiful destination I have ever seen. I'm ready to go back and enjoy me some pasta, wine, pizza, limoncello and gelato!
Oh what a beautiful place to visit Raya! You're so right, when you have really good ingredients you only need a few to make a dish taste amazing. I live in Barcelona and the fruit and veg here is so delicious, the Spanish cook in a similar way with just a handful of ingredients and it's something I am so glad I learned. Peta x

You should check out Lake Garda sometime, I've been a couple of times and it's my favourite place to go to. Can't wait to explore more of Italy! It's such a beautiful country

Went to Italy about 5 years ago with my cousin & a couple of friends & I agree with you, Italy is the most beautiful place in the world & the 6 days we spent there were definitely the happiest of my life. We didn't get to Positano but we went to Rome, Lake Como & Milan & I completely fell in love with Italy. Rome is the most amazing & beautiful city I've ever seen in my life & Como was absolutely breathtaking. Really want to go back someday soon with my boyfriend & see Florence/Tuscanny, Venice & especially Positano. If there's such a thing as heaven I would imagine it would look just like Italy.

I bloody love Italy! In April I stayed with a friend in Vico Equense - a small non touristy village about 15 minutes train ride from Sorrento! We did all the typical touristy things - visited Pompeii, herculaneum (better than Pompeii in my opinion), climbed mount Vesuvius, visited Sorrento numerous times and took a very bumpy bus ride to Positano! It was actually quite a rainy day but it was still a magnificent sight as the town came into view! We got into conversation with an Italian guy about the cats that were everywhere and ended up buying cat food for them! It was a gorgeous holiday and Positano is one of my favourite places I've visited so far. Sorrento is definitely well worth a visit too, as is herculaneum. Am hoping to visit Capri next time! X

You should totally go to La Spezia/Cinque Terre ! It looks just like where you two were but there is 5 small towns just like that and it is , in my opinion, the most beautiful place in Italy! I went there last month and dont regret it !

Portovenere is also a world heritage sight, so it's definitely worth a visit in the north of Italy!

Ravello a small town in Amalfi the town itself it such an incredible place! It's high in the mountains and you get some of the most incredible views of the coastline there!
I went to the Amalfi coast last month! It was so beautiful, we went to a town called Maiori. I think it's around an hour away from Positano. Glad you had such a nice time too! :)
I've visited the Amalfi Coast twice and I hope to see it again one day soon! Capri Island is gorgeous to visit and the Blue Grotto is a little crazy but a must and a wonder to check out! I also highly encourage a day trip to Naples, San da Michele is the best pizza in the world!

I just subscribed to your vlog, enjoyed this a lot!! I agree with you about Positano!! We have been there for four times and I am in love with Positano.
I always knew I had Italian ethnicity in me, but I wasn't sure how much. I am not close with my dad's side of the family (the Italian side). I knew my family members were from Palermo, Sicily, Italy. I recently got my DNA results back from ancestry.com and found out that I am 15% Italian and 12 other ethnicities which excite me. This whole entire video had me crying because of how amazing everything looked! I'm hoping that one day I can visit to learn more about the beautiful culture. Thank you for sharong your trip there! I'm just now discovering this video after 9 months haha!

I have been to Italy for two weeks. I recommended to go Venice, Florence (IT IS A MUST GO), Sienna, Vinci, Rome and any city or town in Tuscany.
You guys probably didn't want to leave. :) That's what happened to us and we're still here in Europe 4 years later!!!
