Just got to the end of it. As someone who's done a fair bit of solo travelling and youtube vlogging (on a different channel), the advice that I can give you is to not forget to live the moment. Having a companion will help with this big time. I did solo and most of what I remember of my months of touring south america is talking to the lens of my camera. Don't worry about the video not being "refined", it doesn't have to be. Your commentary is honest and entertaining. That paired with the nice visuals is a fantastic combo! Cant wait to see more ^^
Love the content! Not sure if you did this but I suggests to remember to drop you tire pressures when you worried about traction, it will really help. Enjoy the journey and good luck!
At last someone who's actually using an 'expedition' truck to actually put it through it's paces. Well done mate. So fed up with these mid-lie crisis couples taking these things on journeys that my works' van could cope with just as easily. That was a great test of driving and the of the truck. Keep it up and don't go too soft on us Bobby. An easy sub' for me, looking forward to the next vid.

I learned that after years of dreaming of living full time and being an Overlander and watching video after video. Once full-time I literally through all of it out including the crap other weekend worries told me to buy because living full-time is way different then a weekend...or just people who think Colorado and Utah are the only place to overland.

Dude for a first video that was a belter!! All the angles awesome drone footage!! (Props on getting that while driving too!) I’m not a guy that likes to criticise at all but you did ask for it at the beginning of the vid….. my only thing would be that some of the music didn’t really match the scene…. Little bit too up beat but that would be my only tiny thing rest was epic man! Really hope these become a regular thing!

Absolutely spot on mate! Maybe add a dashmount so you can film the view you're seeing from the cab and then you can turn the camera round, so you don't have to hold the camera when you're driving, just an idea for you, but what a tremendous first video!

Future things to consider: - Date/ days into expedition stamp in the corner at the start 👌 - time lapse of your views especially the clouds moving, sun/moon rising/falling - graphic map showing where you are in the world against the rough route planned - mention now and then how much it’s costing so far to for the trip (build into a graphic) - when you know someone well enough and if they’re okay with it some clips/ convos of the people you meet along the way Keep it up 🙌💪

We were on holiday skiing down that mountain in January 2023. It was a lovely run all the way back to the resort in Sauze! It looked pretty scary in the truck 😮
Man,,,,,for someone like me, who is so scared of heights, I didnt jump in a lineup! My wife is cracking watching me, watching this - Japan is an incredibly mountainous country,,,,,and she has seen me crack so many times on our travels out here - the Seito Ohashi - the big bridge that links Honshu and Shikoku,,,,,still gives me nightmares!! Even so.....still a fantastic video young fella,,,,We are so looking forward to your journey. Thank you so much from us both
