After following your tutorial (patiently) I finally got the hang of it. I have so many curling irons and they are all rotten in my sea of dead hair products. Never been a curling iron gal under this one. I had a lot of fun with it.

Hi. How does it work to straighten only, not curl. I have thick, naturally culy hair, I normally blow it out then recurl. Sometimes I just want straight. How does this work?
Hi Tamara, Yes, it completely works as a flat iron too! Instead of curling it, take chunks of your hair, brush the chunk as straight as you can get it; then, beginning at the top go straight down without turning your hand. With your thick hair, we'd recommend the Le Duo Grande because you'll be able to fit more in as you slide it.
Out all the reviews made on this no one showed how it functioned just as a straightener. I need to replace my flat iron so I figured if it was just as easy and turned out just as good as nice as my chi, it would be smarter to get this. But I can’t find a review or see how straight hair looked on anyone’s videos. 😂
This is such a great point! We will include this in another video; however, Aimee said she felt the iron plate is not deep enough to do a quick job of it like some other straighteners, Amber says (me lol) it has replaced the need for another straightener tool altogether too. I was shocked even on comparison videos with different brands they never tested the flat irons against each other. That would be a helpful video. Or.. comparing the Duo straightening capabilities with people’s regular everyday straightener😁 You do use it for straightening too? I’m going get it! They have the bundle right now were it comes out to be 80 dollars with 3 free products and the grande is the same price.

Here's another note: We're getting ready to post a video about @TYMOBeauty Airflow which is another tool that includes curl + straight iron. IMO I prefer @TYMOBeauty Airflow which is SO similar to the grande. I feel like it curls faster for my hair type. I straight iron ALL the time with it. It's my daily look. It's actually a size right between the Le Duo and Le Duo Grande but it's like that "perfect" size that works well for my long hair too. Aimee prefers the @LangeHair Lange Le Duo Grande! Both are amazing and you literally could not go wrong. (Tymo sits around $55 on Amazon)

To avoid pulling out your hair, don't place your hair close to the clamp and then pull pull pull 🤷♀️
