What a great idea! We had some sort of French drain in a section of our back yard and I I had just told my husband that we should make our own texture sheet using some of the different sizes or small rocks. After looking at this video we are so thrilled, your sheets are fantastic❣️. Tomorrow I will be gathering a bunch of ‘things’ from my sewing room and his and see what we can come up with. Thanks for the inspiration❣️
I look forward to seeing part 2. I too like to make texture sheets with all sorts as it is a great way to use up that scrap clay. Love your videos btw, you make me laugh!
Greetings from NH! Try doing one with hay straws. I have a farm and feed a lot of hay. One day I made a sheet with parallel straws, and it turned out well. Grass textures are so easy and they make interesting mokume and mica shift patterns. New sub! Thanks for a great video! 👏👏
Thank you! I am honored that you enjoyed it enough to ask about Part 2! But I am sorry to say that I had finished part 2 and was editing it and my computer video card crashed and I lost all my files. So I'm trying to decide what steps to take next. So just watch for it, I'm sure!
I want to create my own molds, though I am just getting into it, but would rather use my designs than someone else's. Thank you for sharing! I went to your channel looking for the other tutorials but didn't see any. :(
Thank you for your comment. I'm not sure what you mean aboot going to my channel but not seeing anything. Perhaps I could help if you could elaborate more?
@@priscillaandrewsprairiepar7062 oh, the video I watched said part one on creating your own texture sheets. But I didn't see any part two of more if there were any. That's all. I did enjoy the ideas. I'm already thinking of things around my place that I can use. Now, I know you made things in clay. Did you make any silicone molds or just use the baked clay sheets for texturing clay?
I did a second one and lost the video for it when my computer crashed while editing. I have not taken the time to do it over again yet. But I will! And no, I have not worked with the silicone molds before. I'd like to, but my husband says I have enough irons in the fire already!
@@priscillaandrewsprairiepar7062 oh no! I know how frustrating it can be with computers. I'm lucky that my best friend is a computer guru! I have 3 hard drives. One is a 5T (terabyte) external drive and is where I put ALL my stuff, which is 1/2 full and is my main hd. The other 2 are inside my computer. I only put my programs on the 'c' drive though my programs are originally on my external so I don't lose them. I put ALL my work on the external drive. I believe, if I remember correctly, the 2 internal hd's are 3T and another 5T. So far I haven't put anything on the 2nd internal drive. I also have a 1T and 2T that I still have packed from moving here a year and a half ago. One can never have too many hd's! My next step is to get another 5T+ external for a redundant backup hd. That way one drive will ALWAYS have my stuff backed up. My friend also backs up my windows and everything that is on the 'c' drive onto a thumb drive, just in case my windows crashes. Which it has several times.
@@priscillaandrewsprairiepar7062 I know about too many irons in the fire as well! I have so many ideas that I haven't even started on because I'm trying to finish up a sculpture project that I am presently working on. I don't feel right working on other things till this one is finished. Then I'm going to go full speed ahead on everything I've been learning from you and other TH-camrs! Lol well, have your husband get you an external hard drive to back up everything from your internal drive. That way it will cut down on losing your important works! I will be using your technique for sure!
Sweet! I'm your neighbor from Kansas! Lol. I used to do craft shows in Nebraska all the time! ❤
Hello! Thanks for the comment!
I made the second one and I LOVE it too!
I'm so happy that you like it so much! Thank your for your comment!
You are a hoot and a half with your curlers in! I needed a good chuckle, so thank you.
Awww, I'm glad you enjoyed my sense of humor! Thank you for your comment!
In this video I found plenty of inspiration for my new projects. I liked a lot the one with yarn, it can be so versatile. Thanks Priscilla!!!
Thank you, I'm so glad you were inspired!

Could not find the pdf on that site. Is it still supposed to be there? Thanks.
The site no longer hosts the pdf's, I'm sorry.
