- Taylor Casey’s loved ones are calling on the FBI and U.S. State Department to intervene, saying they are not satisfied with answers from local authorities and ashram leaders.

I saw some comments that Taylor is trans, I googled and found that it was true from reliable sources. I don't know why this detail has not been disclosed as it may create more leads into who would want to hurt her. Also could be why local authorities are not hot on the case.
Not hurt her but "him"
Very good point. Indeed, this would be critical information to disclose and provide context to the case, and the local authorities.
WOW
Thank you for confirming on the statements, as I was very confused about the comments. Thought they were trolls or just being ignorant, but turns out those comments were right! Bahamas is not very accepting to gender rights, I know from a gay neighbor who vacationed there a few years back. This is something that should be disclosed for sure!
And gays and transgender people have not been welcomed on some of the islands. This has gone on for years. Hope she's safe. OMG
they can solve it if they look for him and not her
@@Randy-j8y Yes! And someone knows who he is!
The US is not going to help that much. When they out out travel advisories that means if you go you are on your own/ this lady stayed in a tent not behind a locked door in a room. It also kills me when we as Americans go somewhere and expect the same level of service as we get in the US. There have been travel warnings about the Bahamas for a long time and recently it was all over the news that the warning has been upgraded in severity. They are never going to find her body and if they do this will be the same family begging the US to bring her body home and they won’t get that either - $50K. The statement about the ensuring Americans safety I. Foreign countries. They do that by way of the travel advisories - not anyone’s fault that this woman didn’t listen to them.
It's only moved down 1 level. You're saying crazy stuff. If this was your family you would be singing a different tune. Do you just make this up as you go
To move down is a substantial move period. People have to maintain some kind of accountability for their own actions
@@tinytim4657 It's no more dangerous than any American city. Enjoy your life of fear.
@@csps56The person that posted that is correct here is why. First off, those rules are put in place to help us and assist us in these travels. Basically, the government tells you damn if you do damn if you do read these travel advisories before you buy your tickst. Secondly, I hope Bahamian govt steps in and does not cover this up, but i have to tell you the truth about traveling overseas, not just a civilian but as a former servicemember. As a former Army Servicemember of 17 years, we were directed to sit in mandatory briefings regarding traveling on leave, especially during crisis events such as this. What people don't understand is that Americans are desperate to travel overseas for vacation etc etc etc. I can count on the number of my hands of reports of servicemembers who went on vacation and never came back because of incidents like this. Ma'am I strongly respect your opinion but also at the same time you have to read up on the laws outside of the United States while traveling. A lot of countries don't tolerate Americans because Americans tend to want privileges, special accommodations etc etc etc. You also have to vet who you're going on vacation with to be sure you're safe and in the vacation spot is safe. Ma'am we've lost a lot of good men and women in our govt thay specializes in cases like this when it involves adults missing and children missing. Please take this in consideration and because if that was my adult son or daughter and their kids I'd give them the warnings about traveling overseas for vacations etc and then I'll let them make that decision for themselves. I saw it with my own eyes when I served in the Army for 17 years. I look forward to your response.
I feel bad for her family but US authorities cannot force or compel the Bahamian authorities to do anything. How can they "intervene" in how a sovereign nation works?
This is so sad. But I have to ask, why do American's who travel abroad always think the Government is REQUIRED to assist in international affairs? That is part of the risk that comes with traveling outside the country unfortunately. However, sadly it is not the government's responsibility.
Correct!
It is part of the government's responsibility. What do think you being a citizen and government taxes are for? Citizens help fund such entities like the FBI and US Embassy for reasons like this. The tax paying citizen just wants her daughter back (a daughter who is also a tax paying citizen). I am certain, you'd make the same request from your government, if you were in this situation. So, please have some tact and stop the "Why do Americans..." rhetoric. 🙄
Because the people running the resort there, the ones being suspiciously unhelpful, are American. If they were Canadian, she'd call Canadian authorities.
Because as Americans, government always intervene abroad when it’s Wypipo!!! It’s called embassy.
Your govt is suppose to come to your aid in another country.
@@Lilboozibertracist Wypipo there are responsible!!!
I feel heartbroken for the family, and hope the mother finds peace. I also think being clear that Taylor is a biological male / trans woman would help bring clarity to this case, and potentially aid in the search and investigation. Could this have been a hate crime? Was Taylor on any type of hormone therapy impacting mood/emotions?
This is my first time hearing that Taylor is Trans, but hopefully, Taylor is found safe.
No. It does not help. It just feeds speculation and irrelevant discussion -- not to mention additional haters for the family. You would do more for the investigation by deleting this comment.
@@DMK195601it actually helps tremendously. If the missing person did not undergo sex change surgery then identifying the body will be easier. However, I’m hoping Taylor is still alive. Hopefully no hate will be directed towards the family. In this case clear and concise details are needed while a search is still underway.
@@DMK195601 This a missing person case - where the public is tasked with providing tips and potentially aiding in the investigation- so basic physical characteristics of the person missing, (ie their sex) - are literally the most relevant information to make public to help FIND the person. If, for example, Taylor has grown facial hair since going missing, it’s important for the public to understand that they are looking for a biological male who may present as a male at the time of being found. It’s also relevant to motive, if a crime was committed - Taylor could have been targeted specifically for being trans. And it’s not speculation - it took me 36 seconds online to find that Taylor was born Terrence. I respect everyone’s right to use whatever gender expression they choose, but if we want to FIND this MISSING human being, we need to share the same reality and the same facts.
@@raep3713Don't delete the truth. Bahamian police need to know who to look for.
Maybe if they start searching for a man instead of a woman, he’ll be found 😮
Thank you Neanderthal you can go back into your hole in the Caucasus Mountains. 🤷🏽♂️
Like why is that not being disclosed?
@@Hollywood305 cuz it’s irrelevant idiot. That is a picture of human being that looks like a female, a woman. A transgendered woman. Idiots like you everywhere! 🤷🏽♂️
@@Hollywood305I have a feeling the Mom never told them.
A man?
When you are a Man and you don't have a Uturus doesn't make you a Woman.

Who cares what her gender affiliation is your lack of humanity causes you to miss the point
Seems like this man was playing with the word of God And was.
Judge
You guys created the confusion. The police there is looking for a woman instead of looking for a man….
1 or more of the employees are involved!!! The fact they said NOTHING to anybody on day 1 shows they are responsible. #TheMoreWeKnow
And continued the classes. Everyone was supposed to get together and search
@@Hollywood305 Yup this is how racist Wypipo operate unfortunately, they continue like nothing happened. Her passport was gone: only someone there would have taken it from her tent. They are involved!!! 🤷🏽♂️
Why would they automatically assume something horrible happened on day 1? She's a grown woman. My 1st thought would be she slept in, or maybe sick or not feeling well, or maybe just taking a day off. I don't think it would be appropriate to start a full on manhunt if someone missed one day of class.
Her phone was in the ocean. One. She went swimming and was swept out to sea. People don't go swimming with their phones though. Two. She was abducted and her phone was tossed into the water. Three. She threw the phone into the ocean herself and disappeared of her volition.
And her passport is also missing
@@yandaliz78the employees are involved!!!
@@yandaliz78 Well that could mean if she was kidnapped that she couldn't be easily identified. Although she wouldn't have had her passport physically on her. Thats something you keep in a bag or suitcase in your hotel room. Unless she carried it in her purse with her. Was a purse found in her room? If not, she could be carrying it with her and provided the passport is in the purse would be missing as well. So abducted or she took off and left the island?
@robertchandler2124 I feel that way too. I feel that a person or persons either among staff at the yoga retreat or the guess are responsible for his disappearance.
@@lindagibson744my intuition is never wrong: The fact they continued classes & did not search immediately shows 1 or more are responsible. Can’t trust being around Wypipo unfortunately: the YT female teachers continued classes & were unbothered she was gone. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE & INVOLVED!!! 🤷🏽♂️
Not sure why the missing poster says tall black woman when it’s actually a slim and tall black male
Wait what???
Wait, was it actually born a male or do you mean she's a Lesbian?
How come this hasn’t already happened? This breaks of the Natalie Holloway case. 😔
Not. A. Woman.
I feel that a person or persons either among staff at the yoga retreat or the guess are responsible for his disappearance.
Whoever is responsible is long gone from there. It's such a shame. If I were the police I would start interrogating everyone of the staff and guess who were present at that time. That place would be under lockdown, nothing coming in and nothing or anyone going out.
So hearing she is actually a man! this makes him going missing even more suspect!!
Regardless if it's a man or woman , still needs to be investigated! Be respectful please
I haven’t seen any disrespectful comments
People are just being honest
Stop going to retreats abroad!! It’s not even safe to eat or stay in hotels, stop doing it!
Right ! Hell it's not even safe at your own home 😂💆🏾♀️
This is so sad. Prayers for this young lady and her family ❤
Man
This is a man clear as day probably a hate crime but the family is pretending so carry on
This is so sad! One of my favorite places to travel, now I'm not so sure!
🙏 I can’t believe they didn’t give mom back her phone and they didn’t want to alarm their vacationers bs they don’t want to lose money they don’t want it to get out!
The phone is evidence and cannot be turned over to the mother. Dah!
This is so heartbreaking. If she's trans that shouldn't matter. She's a missing person, regardless!
USA Government must help.
Where is NAC...nacy ann grace..she will ask thee rights questions and get to the bottom of this..
They need to hire a private detective …get a go fund me to raise money to hire a private detective
I hope Taylor threw the phone away and disappeared purposely. Its possible this person was struggling with something and decided to take the opportunity to start over.
I am praying for the best possible outcome 🙏
This is sad. Tourists are asked to keep a low profile while in the bahamas , her phone was found in water so it woud seem she was in water when she disappered um sad that she has probsbly became a statistic in the bahamas , an isnt no longer alive she been missing way to long. Kinda funny how they found her persona journal an cell phone in waters near by. But not her passport if i were the airport or united states worker at the embassy there i would put her passport on. No fly and arrest who tries to use it or forge something different on it. This is so sad these days this happens way too often
No one took that man
Disturbing, heart felt, tragic, negligence on every bohemian level, sheer horror
The cult don’t care about nobody. Prayerfully she’ll get closure about her child
Sorry I now feel betrayed. So this is a biological dude? Why not disclose it? Hope she didn’t try to seduce a man who ended up deleting him. Anyway prayers for this biological man.
Americans are so entitled. This mom thinks Bahamian officials should stop and drop everything to look for her child. Their world doesn’t stop just because an American thinks it should

The Bahamas i forget what category it is, but the fbi site does say it’s dangerous. Travel at your own discretion.
I am sad for Taylor's mother...I hope Taylor is found.
Wonder about private investigator. Go fund me page donations?
International crime? CIA?
The Bahamian police suck period they will never know what happened it’s so sad
Nope the poster said black female which is misleading
I say trafficking, grabbed phone in sea, passport needed to transport them sell passport to someone who wants it.
Trafficking? Those smugglers are going to be surprised when the meat and 2 veg flops out.
@@Mr_Zod a lot of men like pretty boys especially in Asian countries. Think broader.
Spiritual sacrifice
Pray for mom that's her child
The fact that US authorities haven't been involved since the beginning is insane to me. You would think your own country would protect you or at least care enough to investigate. Hope she is found asap 🙏🏻
Any updates on this?
Heartbreaking. This is the second story I’ve heard of a woman traveling to a yoga retreat in another country and disappearing.
Lets sign a petition something is being hidden. This resort does not wanna lose terrorist money so they will say anything
A set-up Yoga Retreat of gone missing or killed what about her phone 📱? Leading investigation missing people because that is not adding up to me.
If you are a female, never travel alone. Even the influencers online make it LOOK like they are traveling on their own never are.
Not true! I’ve traveled to 9 countries solo. Best experiences of my life!
It's a man
@@crystalbolton1735 ya ya ya .so you had sex in all of them ? i wouldnt brag.
Lets not forget yoga retreats outside the states are more isolated and have known issues. Google it. But a man pretending to be a woman might of had more issues. My guess is he went missing on his own.
Didn’t they just had a devastating hurricane
No, not in the Bahamas.
Hey US government, i am booking a trip to HAITI AND DEMAND FOR YOU TO BE ON STAND BY IN CASE I DISSAPEAR😂😂😂😂😂
How much drugs are used at this Bohemian retreat?
Awwww I agree- help find her. Not acceptable- how are people going to relax and go to yoga now and go to retreat, knowing that they can go missing… Yeah, I’m not good for business plus for her family sake
Him

It's disturbing that Black US citizens are vanishing without a trace in the states and can't be found by our government officials. Yet, we expect US officials to intervene and officials outside of the US to locate missing US citizens in their country. Black people are doomed if they go missing in the US and abroad. I'm disappointed in those Black Bahamian female officials in the Bahamas. They're behaving robotic and unempathetic towards the family.
Prayerfully, the family will get aid from people who are empathetic and will travel to the Bahamas to help them find their daughter/sister.
First of all that's a man, second of all there's a huge human trafficking ring there, that Retreat and the Government know this but they are not going to tell the public, they are worried about that money from tourism
@@BeautifulDove-i7u - What man? Of course, the Bahamas is concerned about tourism rather than alerting the public that there is danger.
