- Paramedics are on the scene of a woman who has collapsed to the floor after having a seizure. Her young son alerted neighbours and later assists one medic in retrieving equipment, helping to save her life. Elsewhere, paramedics attend to a woman who is showing signs of a stroke. Concerned for her health they rush her to hospital.
For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

Kyle was adorable and honestly very calm after what happened. The little “here you go colleague!” was too cute 😭
The young boy, helping the paramedics, is adorable.
It would've been the Coup de Grace if the paramedics had sent him a card thanking him for his help.
The old man who fell made me emotional when he was saying he was sorry for "wasting" the paramedic's time. I just want to hug him and tell him he's not. I would like to be his grandchild!
...he was crying when he said that as well 😢
Sarah, you sound like the kind of person that anyone in their right mind would love to have as a grandchild.
That little boy should get a medal for his helping out. Kids literally just got a sense on things. Well done to the Ambulance crew.😊❤
The kid is so smart to go and get a neighbor. Didn't panic, and it was great to give him little jobs so he could also help. Excellent job, guys.
❤
Re: young woman with seizure. As the paramedics are getting ready to move the Mom, and in the midst of doing so,…. Camera pans and near people’s feet is a black cat napping on a pillow. “Carry on, you all just work around me “ lol
I had to rewind to see what I thought I saw. Cat supervisor on the job!
At one point, the cat is still on the pillow, but the pillow has been moved a couple of feet.
Lol typical cat 😂
😅😸
When the paramedic first kneeled down, he gave the cat a wee scritch. Very cute.
Paramedics did a great job keeping the young man grounded and feeling like he's helping. Love that!
Kyle is amazing!! He should get a great citizen award!
he's a good kid should get a trip of his choice he deserves it
The world needs more Kyle's. ❤
Kyle - too flipping cute and sharp as a tack. Mum had best treat him to his favorite meal and a movie! I pray she takes care of her health for him, if nothing else. Good lad.
As for Stan, I feel for the guy. He needs to be reminded his life is no less valuable than anyone else's. Seems quite the charming man with a good sense of humor.
my heart goes out to people like Stan.. i wish i could hug him.
Kyle's a smart kid!
He’s adorable and so smart! I love at 19:42 when the paramedic says “here can you take that in to my colleague?” He goes running in with “here you go, colleague!” Lololololol 💕🤣
And he is so calm and knows exactly what to do. I bet it was not the first time he has witnessed that kind of thing happening.
Kyle is a smart boy. Totally aware of what is going on and what he needs to do to help his mom. His neighbor was also a big help. Big thanks to him and Kyle.
Kyle is adorable
I love the way the UK looks. Want to visit some day and the Paramedics seem to be a lot nicer.
Been to the uk three times and wish I could move there. It’s so lovely
People in the UK are generally very friendly and helpful. I've been there many times and every single time I am surprised...but I'm from Germany so maybe germans are just way more rude😅
Watching show like and ones in the US has really made me appreciate moving out of the way for ambulances so much more. I get so mad when people don’t move.
Young Kyle was an awesome help!
The little boy is so precious and adorable 🥹 May god bless him and take care of him always
I respect respect your business and your business business and thank you for business 2:03
It’s very easy for me to recognize the symptoms of a stroke because I’ve had learned so much about them. They’re horrible conditions for people of any age.
What an adorable boy! So smart.
In high school we adopted a grandma or grandpa for a month, and we had to visit them daily. Well my grandma ended up having the same birthday as me and her name was my great grandmother name. It was meant to be. After month we got so close that i continued to see her every Saturday until she could no longer recognize me. ❤her family was so greatful to me for making her so happy and i told them no God brought her to me. I got bullied alot and she made me feel loved and special. She told me i was destined to do great things. I didnt think i would ever be able to help people because im disabled. Well.. Im now a volunteer and bring my dog with me for a little talk and snuggle every week. Even held a hand of a sweet lady as she passed. Singing to her. She always wanted me to sing. So through my tears, i did. She smiled, then was gone. I was honored to be there for her. Rest in peace Martha and Bernice.❤
What a beautiful soul you have. Just an angel in disguise.
@lynnegulbrand2298 Thank you. I just try to do what I can in this world. God has blessed me in so many ways. If I can help just one person for God, I want to.
You were obviously destined to be an angel to those sweet women. Not a lot of young people like spending time with our elders. You're a special person for being a friend to them. My son volunteered at a local care home in high school and the residents loved him because he would chat their ear off and knew all sorts of info. 😂 He's autistic and has ADHD. Unfortunately, at almost 22, he now deals with schizophrenia so he's not volunteering anymore but he did so well and I'm so proud of all he's gone through. He managed to graduate high school on time despite his first episode of psychosis happening his senior year.
@michellerhodes5477 Oh wow, your son sounds like a wonderful man. My cousin has Schizophrenia. It's such a horrible disease for everyone. I'm so happy he has so many wonderful memories and made some special moments for others before he got sick. He has accomplished so much. I can't imagine what you go thru each day. Or him. I will be praying for him and your family. I hope he has more good days than bad. I just try to be the best I can and always treat others the way I want to be treated. Mom did a good job of teaching me that. Lol, I'm a chatter box, too.
Kyles amazin! I know thats a proud mom
I love you guys and how peaceful you are with everyone ❤❤❤❤❤
19:43. Here you go colleague.
any one else notice at 20:31 there’s a black cat next to the feet of the seizure patient just chilling
I feel bad for Stan I hope they at least visit him so that he won’t be lonely.😢❤
he's such a good lad.
Well done to all the paramedics, you are amazing! God bless you all. ❤from Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape South Africa 🇿🇦
What a hero her young son was! Incredible to watch a child be so brave and resourceful.
The two new female drivers look like twins.👩❤️👩
That's because they are!
And they dress alike!!!
👗👗👗
You guys are awesome I wish our ems in the state was as sweet and caring as you
Which state? The EMTs that came several times to help my Mom were all incredibly kind, on par with this group of lovely folk.
What a great help that young boy was to his mum, who collapsed. They were wise to listen to him.
Stan was just to precious for words bless his soul
Kyle is just adorable 👍💝💜💖😘
That Stan - what a lovely gentleman.
Love this program 😊
Ohh stan what a good man ❤
I ❤ the UK, especially Yorkshire and the City of York . Plus London. I’ve been only one time in York, but was there for 4 weeks , so I got to see quite a lot of places. I’m more than over the average interrested in British history, and York ticked all the boxes for me. I’ve been 3 times to London , and loved it, so I’m going back in May or the beginning of June , early, to avoid the crowds of ‘ typical’ tourists.I love these TV «Inside of the ambulance»-shows. The Paramedics are so calm and proffesional, and not very different from the Norwegian Ambulance crews. But at the same time there are of course several differences- like the typical British way of being- very polite, but also direct without being rude. You just got to love that!❤❤
❤Kyle❤️💯❤️
Thank you medics for saving everyones lifes
Future EMS paramedic indeed
Aw Stanley, I know how you feel, except I'm 67 and don't have scooter, so I just...sit here. I'm glad you can get out and about. Honestly...I'd love to have scooter races with you. It would be a hoot with your sense of humour.
Poor Stan , he’s so lonely and never found the right partner 😢
❤ from South Africa 🇿🇦 😍 ❤
Young boy helping his mom was such a good boy and doing so he knew what to do. He went and did it and brought the paramedics to his mom. Well done, young man!!
When I was a single mom, my little guy used to help me with diabetic Lo’s, so he knew what to do and after my sugars were fine, we just carried on. Having a chronic problem is tricky to control, as I said to my youngest son when people think that it’s easy to control, they should be a type one diabetic for a month and see if they can control it. They be really surprised.
Everyone should learn how to give the FAST test, and if it's concerning, they can report it when they call emergency. F = face, ask the person to smile, is it even? Arms = ask the person to raise them evenly - are they even? S = speech, can the person tell you the date and speak clearly? T = time is of the essence.
Feel sorry for that old bloke. He sounds like he doesn’t have much left to live for 😢
3:10 He was totally checking his snap chats haha
That lad Stan. What a ham.

39:24 to 39:29 sounds so painful
Can I move to uk for better help 😢❤
Gosh. In the US an ambulance would NEVER stop to give a patient pain meds‼️
🚑🎶🪗🎶❤🪗🎶🚑
I love that sound whatever it is it's just real catchy 😄
I would take a hundred needles than be nauseous 🤢
I bet the young lad grows up to be a paramedic.
The UK emphasis on pain relief is a good example for other countries.
Did he say Texas bbq
It must be fake. Only Texas makes Texas bbq. Lol
Why are First Responders diagnosing patients?
Because they are qualified medics, not EMTs.
@@tessaoshea5697 I don’t know what country you live in but in USA 🇺🇸 only a doctor can give a diagnosis.
@@117Pinkyflower they aren’t giving them an official diagnosis, they’re giving doctors a starting place by “querying” a diagnosis during handover, you will hear many of them say that word frequently. It’s a starting place and educated guess based on the presentation of symptoms.
Hannah was scary. The oxygen face mask gave her starve brain and face the oxygen it needed. Her forehead was a gray color when they put her in the ambulance. Her family calling for the ambulance when they did was; is what helped save her from suffering from horrible side effects from a stroke.
The housing in the UK is so small and weirdly designed
I love 💗 watching cops tv show K-9 unit catch suspects in bushes in attics in vents in someone’s house in someone’s car
